《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 38

After declaring Goku the winner, Bulma huffed as she thought on how to deal with the idiot. He spent so much time away who knows how many other girls fell for him or misunderstandings. She could barely be angry at Goku as she doubts he even understands what happened. It like a punishment for falling for an idiot.
“I wouldn’t worry Bulma. Unless you give him permission the thought of cheating won’t even enter his mind.” Lily said calming Bulma down but still didn’t solve the issue.
As if a passing thought Bulma asked a reasonable question. “How does your relationship even work? There five of you in it.”
“Hmm, it depends, I think but we don’t really have anything to compare it to. Anyways, we have it that Zaraf takes us on a single twice a month and a group date once a month if we are up to it. Sleeping arrangements is one joining I and him while weekends we all share a bed. We haven’t really gone beyond sleeping yet.” Lily replied after thinking about it and gave a guideline to their relationship.
“Ah, ok,” Bulma said deciding to remove the option from her mind.
Bulma wasn’t sold on the idea of sharing expressally her bed so she has to think of another way. Lily could tell Bulma wasn’t liking the idea so stopped talking about it. It was a lifestyle choice and everyone has their own way and choices.
Appearing next on stage, Krillin and Piccolo jr appeared as they were up next. Zaraf hummed as he was somewhat impressed by Krillin’s determination. It seems over the last three years, he worked on his courage.
“Let the match between, Junior and Krillin begin.” The blonde announcer shouted hopping off the stage.
Both of them stared at each other as Krillin prepared his attack, Sticking his hands out Krillin yelled as to yellow beams flew towards Piccolo.
Jumping to avoid, Piccolo jumped high in the air as he watched as the ki blast fly towards the crowd. Krillin quickly thinking pulled hard on his Ki blast pulling it up and towards the back of Piccolo.
“What,” a shout from Piccolo enter everyone ears as his eyes glowed and blew up the ki blasts.
Landing back on the stage, Piccolo stared angrily at Krillin as he was more of a challenge than he originally thought.
“Err, this is bad. Don’t panic Krillin you got this.” Krillin hyped himself up as he a green arm shot towards him rapidly.
Dodging the arm, Killin jumped into the air towards Piccolo hoping to bring it to close quarter combat.
“Well, at least he has the right idea, but not the strength to back it up.” Zaraf heard Towa hummed as they watched Krillin get smacked around.
“Hmm, they sure jump high into the air a lot more than needed.” Zaraf commented as both Piccolo or Krillin jumps ten or more meters into the air per jump.
Sure they are giving themselves lots of room to move but also allowing the other to predict where they are heading.
Yawning at the match Zaraf watched as Piccolo kicked Krillin high in the sky as Krillin clutched his stomach. It seems the latest kick shook up his insides but he gather a large amount of Ki in his hands.
“Kamehameha,”
Krillin shouted as a large blue ball formed in the sky when Piccolo attempted to get close.
“Did it work.” Krillin painted before Goku screamed behind you. “Ahh.”
Krillin was knocked out of the ring, ending the match. Next up was Yamcha and a man named Hero. Yamcha cut his hair and now wore an orange jumpsuit similar to Gokus’ without the blue weighted shirts underneath. The other man looked like he was an average office worker with large glasses and small mustache.

“Do you sense that?” Lily asked Zaraf.
“That there two beings inside the man. It doesn’t seem to have a negative effect on the man so let's see what happens.” Zaraf said which Lily nodded as none of the girls moved.
The match began and Yamcha looked more like a cheerleader than a martial artist as the man easily dodged. Covering his defense it looked like Hero was scared throwing Yamcha off his strike. Finally Yamcha attempted a flying kick but would have sailed over the man if he didn’t lift his head.
“Isn’t that against the rules?” Lyana asked.
“It looked more like an accident so I will say no.” Delia answered with Lily and Zaraf nodding. Towa simply shrugged as none of the match interest her.
Watching as Yamacha was carried off only adding to his embarrassment the semi finals began. Tien and Goku enter the ring as both of them were ready to show how much they progressed. Sadly for Goku no one in the tournament could match him but he is having fun.
“Are you ready, Goku. I trained hard since our last match and I won’t win by an outside interference.” Tien said with pride and confidence.
“Hehe,” Goku smiled with a small giggle as both fighters took a stance.
When the match began, Tien launched himself at Goku with great speed with Goku easily surpassed. Easily matching and dodging Tien put some space between them.
“Well done Goku, but can you handle four of me.” Tien said as he shouted and three more appeared.
“What a waste of ki and energy.” Lily mumbled as Tien power was divided into a fourth.
“Well, it an interesting training technique but that about it. The technique doesn’t really help beside helps you correct your own weakness if you don’t have a sparring partner.” Zaraf quickly and easily analyzed the technique.
“True,” Towa commented.
“Oh, they ran to the four coners what are they attempting now?” Delia slightly interested.
“Solar Flare.” was the answer as most of the audience was blinded. Blinking a few times, Goku quickly recovered as he closed his eyes blocking most of the effects from the move.
The match continued as Goku laughed as he dodged or traded blows with Tien.
The match continued for a few more minutes before Goku tossed all four Tiens out of the ring effortlessly. This didn’t really come to the surprise of most as while Tien was breathing heavily, Goku laughed without breaking a sweat or even winded.
“Well, that was one sided,” Lyana grumbled.
The next match was soon on it way with Hero firing off energy blasts right after the start. It was an interesting start as both of them hovered around the same strength. Sadly since one was borrowing a human body, his strength was limited due to being an untrained body.
“What are they speaking?” Bulma asked as both contestants spoke in a language none heard before.
“I believe it is Namekian,” Lily said as it was tricky to hear as the distance and crowd made it difficult.
“How does Hero know it than?” Bulma asked.
“Because Piccolo’s other half is currently borrowing the body. It seems that they were originally one but split with one being good while the other being evil. Basically Jekyll and Hyde if you will.” Zaraf said making Bulma understand.
“So why is he fighting himself?” Bulma asked.
“Who knows but it will be interesting to see how it will turn out.” Lily said.

The battle fought back and forth until Hero took out a small bottle from his pocket. This started the true bottle of power and will as Piccolo recognized what was happening. A green beam between formed capsizing the audience in the light show.
“This is the end,” Piccolo shouted as he overwhelmed the beam forcing Kami out of the borrowed body and into the bottle he prepared.
Picking up the bottle and swallowing the bottle, Piccolo’s power surged but do to a semi fusion he only received a quarter of it.
“Impressive but it won’t help,” Zaraf thought out loud as he became bored.
“Do you want to leave, Zaraf?” Lily asked as she saw him become restless.
“Yeah, it is already easy to see who is going to win.” Zaraf commented as he said bye to Bulma and Flame Stepped home.
Behind him, Lily came with Delia and Lyana as a tear in space revealed Towa. She was frowning as it seems her idea took more energy than she originally thought. It looks like she is going to put it back on the drawing board.
“What are we going to do now?” Towa asked.
“Hmm, I was thinking about going to get Dub from the demon realm.” Zaraf said shocking Towa and Lily into a hug. Only Delia and Lyana seemed confused on what was going on.
“Are we strong enough?” Lily asked shocked as both of them were severely injured when they left. The demon realm also restricts their Ki and limits their strength.
“I believe so and it should help with our current training. It also helps that I finally mastered super saiyan two and began on the third stage. After that I believe it combining the third and Oozaru forms.” Zaraf said sighing at how long it takes to learn the forms. He seen them first hand when he was working as a time patrolman.
Nodding as Lily worries vanished mostly as they are a lot stronger than last time. So most of the ones that gave them trouble last time won’t be able to this time. However the demons vastly outnumber them and they don’t even know if Dub is still living.
“What are you guys planning.” Delia finally asked.
“To rescue my father,” Towa said saddened that she has been enjoying life as he been stuck in a cage for years.
“Why didn’t you use the dragon balls?” Lyana asked leaving them in silence for a few moments.
“The dragon balls aren’t strong enough to do it as they are only as strong as the creator is at that time. If he fights it, the dragon is powerless to do anything about it.” Lily finally said.
Accepting that answer, another came up and it was how are they going to do it or even get their. The entrance is no doubt sealed and they don’t know where the other one is. Asking Towa to cut a hole in space and time would leave her exhausted and they need her to open one to get them out.
No doors for the demon realm is available on Earth at the current time so they were stuck. Well until they got an idea that is.
“Why don’t we just go to the otherworld and travel that way. Maybe we can finally see mom again.” Lily said happily at the idea of seeing Luna again.
“Well, let's wait until Kami back at the look out and rested. He can take us and save us time from looking for Otherworld.” Zaraf shrugged.
Accepting the ideas, the girls went to change as did Zaraf and headed to the pool. They had a few hours to wait and probably wait a day before going. So, spending the time seeing the girls happily in swimsuits suited him just fine.
=================================================================
Back at the tournament, a large battle was taking place as both Piccolo and Goku beat each other senseless. The audience long since fled once they realized who Junior was as he was Demon King Piccolo reincarnated. Both of them were in rags, mainly due to Goku messing around and now regretting it.
In a hole in the ground, only five was there with the Blonde Announcer still commentating the match. Even with most of the equipment and surrounding buildings in ruin he continued.
“I wish Zaraf was here, it would be over in an instant.” Bulma growled at Chi Chi who said this. First she wanted to take Goku from her, now she is thinking of taking Zaraf from Lily and the girls.
“You-.”
====================================================================
Sneezing Zaraf wondered who was talking about him as he rubbed his nose. Soon, he got rid of the thought as it wasn’t important to him anyways. Something more important held his attention than some unknown male or female. The joy of playing in the pool took over than anything else.
“What are you sneezing at?” Lily asked him as they floated around the pool.
“Someone was talking about me it seems.” He said in monotone.
“Gaining an ego are you.” Towa laughed.
“Nah,” was all Zaraf said as he began napping.
=======================================================================
The next morning, after waking up and completing their morning workout. Zaraf began packing as did the girls. They didn’t know how long it is going to take or they will be away for. Thankfully Lily wasn’t counting this against their promise which was still active for five more years.
“Are you ready to go?” Towa yelled throughout the house.
Soon they all assembled into the living room ready to go. All their clothes and food packed and stored into their space rings. Grabbing either Lily or Zaraf, they Flame Step them over to the lookout where they met the strange blob again. Mr. Popo got a shock from them appearing before leading them to Kami.
Looking at the old namekian on the throne looking tired as it looks as if he hasn’t rested in a while.
“What can I help you guys with?” Kami asked.
“We were going to ask you to take us to Otherworld but I think we might need to come back.” Zaraf said making the old namekian narrows his eyes.
“Why do you need to go,” Kami asked.
“For a couple of reasons for our own and you don’t need to know. We should be able to get back on our own though.” Lily replied releasing some of her Ki on the old man who nodded like a bobble head.
“Return in a few days and we can set off.” Kami said.
Nodding as they mentally rolled their eyes, they vanished from the lookout and landed in Capsule corps backyard. There they found Bulma and Chi Chi arguing while Goku was off to the side doing push ups. Lily and Delia even wondered if he even knew they were arguing about him.
“Yo,” Zaraf greeted as he kicked Goku in his gut.
“Ahh, what was that for.” Goku shouted as he grabbed his stomach in pain.
“Do you mind telling me why it took you so much effort to defeat Piccolo Jr.?” Zaraf asked as he pinned him to the ground and looking at his nails.
“Err, how do you know about that.” Goku looked nervous.
“Easy, I was able to sense your battle easily. Also I saw a clip of it on the news this morning. I wasn’t really planning on chatting to you about it, but my plans have been pushed back a few days.” Zaraf said.
“So, I decided out the kindness of my heart to up your level of training.” Zaraf said as Goku began to sweat.
“Umm, I am supposed to get married in a few days though.” Goku said making his first ever excuse to get out of training.
“Mmm, good the girls can handle that while I train you hard enough to miss training for a few days.” Zaraf grinned as he saw the panic on Goku’s face.
Throwing Goku on his shoulder they vanished from the garden with a scream and laughter.
Over by the girls, they watched as the two boys left with Lily laughing and the other three giving a wry chuckle. Only Chi Chi and Bulma seems concerned where the two ran off.
“Where did they go?” Bulma yelled.
“Don’t know, probably training since our plans been pushed back a few days.” Towa said.
“What, but Goku getting married in a few days.” Bulma and Chi Chi yelled.
“Yeah, but both of them are Saiyans, training and fighting is what they do expressially since both are warrior types. Even of Goku’s scared of Zaraf training, he loves it.” Lily said unconcerned.
“What about making a living? How are they supposed to support their families in the future if all they do is fight.” Chi Chi got in Lily’s face glaring at her.
“Than just allow them jobs were they either train or fight all the time. From the saiyan culture the men usually were off fighting while the women control the homelife. Isn’t that what you said Lily?” Lyana said.
“Yep, though I wonder if we should build Zaraf a dojo. He enjoys teaching lately and it would give him a hobby. Also it might help Bulma out when Goku gets on her nerves.” Delia shrugged as she said this.
“Can others survive Zaraf training?” Bulma asked remember seeing Goku getting beaten a few times.
“Maybe he should teach the more advanced classes and we will handle the lower ones. Though that be after we get back from our trip.” Lily said with a carefree smile.
“Your ok with this?” Chi Chi shouted towards Bulma.
“Well it is Goku way of life before even meeting him. He lives and breaths martial arts and trying to change that won’t work. Besides he would be earning money though it be more pocket change than what I earn.” Bulma said making Chi Chi sigh and mumbling to herself.
“Your all crazy,” Chi Chi shouted before leaving.
“Where she going?” Lyana asked.
“Don’t know but she be back again.” Bulma shrugged.

8 341Children of the Singularity (S4)
Even the end of the world had its beginnings. Most reminisce over comforts that seemed so common yesterday even though yesterday was so far away. A select few reminisced over the original pocket that now enveloped the world. It began with the Chernobyl disaster releasing an otherworldly being preying on humanity's very soul. It grew stronger with every scream, it’s corruption instilling absolute bedlam and madness. With the required elements all being present in that fateful year of 2012 the predator found it’s escape in those who became known as the Children of the Singularity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Artwork by AlexAlexandrov (deviantart)Metro 2033.
