《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 37

Looking at the hole that once was the stage for the world tournament Zaraf raised an eyebrow as they didn’t have a ring anymore. Even if the ring was still there, the match would have been over in a second as he wasn’t versing Goku. So, Zaraf weighed his options of quitting as he didn't really feel like fighting a oppentant that barely can stand.
As he weighed them he also realized he could have spent it in the crowd or went shopping with the girls. Lily and Delia wanted new dresses, Towa wanted new tools, and Lyana wanted to try her hand at gardening.
“Due to his request and agreement from the medics on standby, Tien Shinhan has withdrawn from the tournament. So for the third time in a row, Zaraf is the champion.” The blonde announcer spoke over the speaker.
The audience just shrugged as they didn't really have that many memories of the teen. His match wasn’t really rememberable nor past tournaments ones. So, out of the matches today only Tien and Goku would be remembered until the next tournament.
Getting his prize of a million zeni as they upped the reward for winning, Zaraf was off to his girls. Since it was only a couple hours past noon, he could take them shopping.
“How were you guys?” Zaraf asked as he hugged lily from behind.
“It was fun catching up with Bulma and that about it. Your weird luck happened again so, what are you going to do with the prize money.” Lily smiled as she kissed his cheek.
“I was thinking about putting it to a worthy cause, taking you four shopping. We got the rest of the day to shop and the limit is two hundred and fifty thousand between you.” Zaraf smiled as he earned a kiss from all of them.
“They upped the prize money.” Towa said.
“Yep,” and with that they left the area after saying goodbye to Bulma and Goku.
Arriving at the mall, Zaraf was soon pulled from one store to another asking to either carry or opinion on something. From looking to outer wear and dresses, and a store full of female underwear. Zaraf received some weird or sorry looks from the employees. Not that he mind the underwear as he figures it what he mostly see anyways.
So, by the time they finished he had a mountain of boxes and shopping bags to carry. The girls even managed to spend most of the prize money as they had a quarter of it left at the end. Which didn’t really matter as they just deposited it into their ever growing bank account as Delia and Lily played with investing lately.
By the time they arrived back at their house, the sun was setting and the girls went to unpack while he began cooking. None of them really felt like eating out as Lily and Zaraf always draws everyone's attention due to the amount they eat. Which only serves to annoy the other three as some men send lust filled eyes at them.
There even been times where they walked over and attempted to flirt with them. They did it by insult both Zaraf and Lily as if they were pigs and worth the lovely ladies. So, cost to get the store fixed plus paying the bill with shocked owners and employees was unappealing.
=========================================================
A few days passed by since the tournament with him and the girls training as normal. He was working on compacting and strengthening his energy as were the others. In truth it was a long process as he only managed to remove three limiter in the Alpha stage. He was finally getting closer after several months since breaking the third one.

“It seems that Goku is having a busy few days.” Lily said as she looked at the message Bulma sent.
“What happened?” Delia asked her.
“Well it started with Goku friend Krillin was killed. Than that old pervert went on about an old tale about the Demon King Piccolo. Now the old man got into a moody stage while Goku is who knows where. That same Piccolo guy just took over and freed most of the prisoners.” Lily said with a shrug.
“Oh, and that one the minions took the registry and tracking down the contestants to the tournament.” Lily added as an afterthought.
“Are we expecting a visitor than?“ Zaraf asked as he didn't feel any one worth mentioning. “Someone with a battle power of three hundred and growing is running wild it seems though.”
“That might be who.” Lyana said with a shrug as no one really cared to stop it.
“Should we do anything?” Towa asked.
“Let’s let them handle it and if step in later.” Zaraf replied as they nodded.
==============================================================
A few hours later, they were watching the news as Goku appeared and defeated the villain. Which confused Zaraf as Goku should have been able to handle him easily before hand. He ended up chucking it up to Goku letting his guard down again. Though, Bulma did send a message heavily worded about not showing up.
“Well, that was over fairly quickly.” Lily said.
“Hmm, yeah it was, though I wonder how Goku managed to allow to convince the green man to recreate the dragon balls again.” Zaraf said as he could sense Goku training on the lookout.
“It is him so, it not that big of a stretch.” Delia said making them nod.
“Hmm, I might help him train in a month or two to train him.” Zaraf said making the girls laugh. He has two set of training methods, with one he considered for beginners and he considered for master. The truth is the light one is out of reach for most as it more than what many consider devil training. The second one was just plain brutal as it requires a week to recover. Though they won’t tell him that.
“So, are you thinking about accepting a disciple than?” Lily asked.
“Hmm, he more of a part time project.” Zaraf said making them laugh again.
===========================================================
For the next three years, Zaraf true to his word help Goku with his training. A few times Kami tried to get Goku to become the next Earth Guardian. For some reason, Kami said Zaraf wasn’t a good match and left it at that. Not that he minded much.
Both Goku and himself entered a growth spurt around the same time as did Lily. They grew in about a week and looked like there later teen years. While Towa, Delia, and Lyana filled out nicely again, if anything improved since they returned. The tiny amount of divine energy started to fix or enhance their features bit by bit.
Zaraf grew to five and a half feet with a perfectly toned body which truthfully shocked most who seen his training methods. Bulma, Goku and Roshi had a betting pool that he would look like a bodybuilder or Roshi’s max power mode. If anything he looks more like a greek god.
His red and Green eyes glowed with power as electricity ran through them. It got so bad whenever that whenever he takes any of the girls on a date, he has to wear sunglasses. Truthfully, it didn’t help as most of the girls from ten to hundred and ten drooled at him. The girls had a similar reaction with most of the guys, but most men learned to look but don’t approach.

Forming a red with a tint of black ki ball in his hand, Zaraf lazily rapidly fired over a hundred in less than ten seconds at Goku. They were currently having a spar as the next tournament was in an hour. Well, it was more of a relaxing time for him, while Goku was struggling either dodging or deflecting them.
“Zaraf, you better stop or Goku will be too tired to enter,” Lily called as she ignored the light show of Ki being thrown around. Whenever, he and the other including her get into a sparring match, it really turns up the show.
“Fine, at least he got a small work out so he won’t pull a muscle running from Bulma.” Zaraf shrugged as Goku appeared next to him panting a little.
Over the years, Goku power grew rapidly as he hovered around thirty thousand at full strength. How this affected the future when Radiz arrives Zaraf didn’t really care. Mainly Goku will somehow or reason still find a way to die to meet King Kai. He actually tested it a few times and found that Goku follows the original path if he doesn’t meet Zaraf and them.
“Yeah, she somewhat angry at you as much as him. Something about only having training on the mind or something.” Lily laughed as her friend was a mystery to her. What would she expect dating a martial artist and a Saiyan. They were known as a warrior race for a reason, as most were fighters before going into a different job.
Lily grew and back into a beautiful woman as before not that she wasn’t beautiful before. Actually, He could say it about all four of them except it’s a certain time of the month. Than the four like demons either complaining or kicking him out for the day. They can get a bit grouchy and send him away for a day. So he either in the backyard sculpting or playing baseball/
Somehow and for some reason Yamcha came to him and have he playing baseball. It is not professional or anything but more of an afternoon of playing and relaxing. Why the former bandit has him playing he doesn’t know but it fun and easy to hit home runs.
“Doesn’t Bulma know that most of her friends are martial artist? Training is something we enjoy and have to do.” Zaraf laugh.
Nodding to his words as she was of similar thought as she didn’t really see the problem.
“So, who do you think is going to win the tournament since your not entering.” Lily asked him.
Glancing to his side where Goku was laughing and giggling like a young girl. Zaraf wondered how all his friends but up with him. Some days, Goku just graits his nerves as his laughter never stops whenever he knows a secret they don’t. Well, not like they don’t know it as they know there a young Piccolo Jr. running around.
“You just have to wait and see.” Goku said as Zaraf rolled his eyes and flame step him to the tournament for sign ups.
Goku was stunned by the change in surrounding before shrugging and went to sign up. A few moments later, Lily appeared by his side and linked her arms to his. She led him towards his other wives and grinned.
“So, how was your morning, Dear,” Zaraf asked kissing her cheek.
“Hmm, it was well except one person forgot he was his turn to make breakfast this morning.” Lily said.
“I left a few bowls of fruit in the refrigerators for you all.” Zaraf said with his weak but true excuse.
“Nice try, but we will deal with this at home with the others.” Lily husky whispered in his ear.
“Fine,” Zaraf smiled as he knew none of them were actually mad at him.
Giving a small kiss on Delia, Towa, and Lyana, he gave Bulma a hug which defused her small rant. Knowing that, he wondered if he should tell Goku that as a way to calm his girlfriend or not. Thinking about it, Goku probably would do things that can’t be fixed by a hug.
“I wonder if this is going to be entertaining.” Towa said as the tournament lost it appeal the second time onwards. It was like a curse from fighting against those that didn’t know or train Ki.
“Mmm, this is good ice cream.” Lyana said as she bared her fangs at the men looking at her expression on her eating.
“I think that answers your question, Towa.” Delia laughed.
The time they spent waiting soon passed as they joked around and the first match was underway. Tien took the stage with a man covered in metal parts and smirk with the symbol Killer on his back.
A small amused smile appeared on Zaraf lips as with the recent advancements, the man looked like an outdated Cyborg. Having a power level of around a hundred was surprising though, as it seemed kind of forced. Zaraf could only assumed that it wasn’t increased by training but enhancers of some kind.
However even with his increase strength, the man couldn’t match Tien strength unless caught off guard. Tien grown since the last tournament so unless he like Goku and puts his guard down, he will win pretty easily. Maybe Zaraf should take time out of his schedule to train Tien, alongside Goku.
Noticing a grin on Zaraf, Lily turned to him. “What are you thinking about?”
“Hmm, helping Tien along with his training, but haven’t decided yet.” Zaraf replied not really bothering to hide his thoughts. He barely keeps what on his mind from the her or the others unless it a surprise for them.
“I don’t know, he doesn’t seem the type that would allow you to help if offered.” Delia said beside him. “Unless he comes to you, he most likely won’t accept your offer.”
Watching as Tien and the man basically talk back and forth as they seems to have a history. Zaraf study Tien and nodded as he could see that Delia was right and dismissed the idea. Who knows in the future Tien might stop by. Than he would have a new toy- unofficial disciple to train.
“Yeah your right.” Zaraf said as the match began.
Tien easily blocks the attacks, which seems to greatly concern the older man. As if gaining a bright idea, the cyborg man removed his hand and quickly slashed Tiens chest. Screams were heard from the crowd as blood dropped from Tiens fresh cut and a blade in the sky.
“Due to contestant Tao having a blade, he is disqualified.” The blonde announcer called but Tao didn’t seem to care.
However, the man attempted to gloat and explain why he was better. Tien used the opening to attack while the opponent was distracted by his own ego. Sadly he only managed to break the knife as Tao jump backwards to dodge.
“Grr, how dare you interrupt me. Have a taste of Super Dodon Ray.” Tao shouted in glee as he removed his other hand for a blaster.
Zaraf could roll his eyes, as Ki both and spiritually moves through the body. The excess breaks off and improves the body health and strength. While the main part moves around the body until it is called upon to use. This is usually done when it gathered in their hands or below their feet a few inches or so above their hands.
So see the arm blaster that Tao arm, it didn’t use Ki but energy from a battery. The man gave up his use of Ki for batteries which was a joke. Now the man couldn’t improve his strength unless he gets an upgrade and that only allows so much.
“That old man an idiot isn’t he.” Lyana asked as she voiced the thought in Zaraf’s head.
“Yep, but who really cares as he didn’t train or taught correctly it seems.” Zaraf shrugged.
“Does it really matter.” Lily asked.
“Not really.” Towa replied.
“What are you talking about?” Bulma asked.
“Tao giving up his use of Ki for batteries.” Delia shrugged not making Bulma understand.
“We can tell you later.” Lily said getting a nod.
In the match, Tien batted away the energy beam easily and managed to plant his fist in the old man's stomach. A few seconds later and overdramatics later, Tien was declared the winner again and off with the medics.
Next up was Goku and a woman in a blue fighting dress. For some reason she was shooting him a glare alongside Bulma. Zaraf recognized her nearly instantly and wondered why she was here. He was sure that they never made that promise the first time they met, so it must have been when Goku was traveling.
“Why is she glaring at me?” Bulma huffed.
“Bulma did by chance allow agree for another person to be in your relationship?” Zaraf asked.
“No, why?” Bulma asked confused if not offended.
“Then this is going to be interesting to watch.” Zaraf smiled mysteriously making Lily and the rest stare at him.
On the stage, Goku was equally as confused as Bulma at why he was being stared at.
“Why are you glaring at me?” Goku innocently asked which only increase the rage in those eyes.
“You cheater,” The woman said.
“Cheater? What a cheater.” Goku natiely asked making most of the crowd fall.
“You lied to me than, and went to another woman.” the woman said making most of the women in the crowd joined in the crowd.
“Huh? I don’t think we ever met before and I never cheated on Bulma.” Goku said only making things worse for him.
Zaraf was laughing as he listen to this as Bulma focused hard and felt like she hit a wall.
“You gotta be kidding me.” Bulma yelled. “He never promised to marry you and I doubt he even knows what that is.”
“Is it food.” Goku asked making Zaraf laugh even louder and Lily and the other shake their heads.
“Don’t worry about it, and just fight your misunderstandings can be solved later.” Lily got tired of hearing Zaraf laugh called out.
Nodding, Goku took up a stance and rapidly shot out his fist pushing the girl off the stage. Ending the match easily and simply leaving most confused.
“Goku the winner.” The blonde announcer said with a shrug.

First and foremost, I must apologize as this story is currently on an indefinite hiatus. School, my main project, and writer's block have gotten in the way. I was rather unprepared when I began posting this and kind of just did it on a whim. Thus, I shall ensure I am thoroughly prepared before posting anything else, but I plan to return to this someday to conitnue it. What better retirement plan for a scumbag than to become a demon? Whether he likes it or not, that's Berrick's only choice. Heaven thinks hell is getting a little lukewarm and Berrick is just the guy to heat things up again. Then you've come to the right place! This is honestly just something I'm writing for fun and figured I'd publish while I'm working on my main project, but I always appreciate constructive criticism so I can improve.
