《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 26

Up on the mountain known throughout the Yulan Plane as Mountain Range of Magical Beasts. Five kids no older than nine were camping out at the entrance of an undiscovered cave watching as the last of the storm. The only male of the group with a long mohawk and slightly tan skin with a brown belt was blushing redder than a tomato.
He currently has his left arm getting rub by a blonde haired girl as she struggled not to fall. His right arm was infinity close to a wild black haired girl that reaches the girl waist chest. Over his head he was receiving a preview of a white haired girl crotch as she hovered over him. Finally on his back he felt two budding sensation as a brown haired girl was there.
“Why did I allow you to talk me into playing twister?” Zaraf asked turning he head towards Lily.
“Why not, don’t you feel lucky having four cute girls that are bound to be beauties in close contact.” Lily laughed as he gave her a blank stare but his blushing face ruined it.
He learned he doesn’t mind being close to Lily’s body but anyone else a sudden shyness emerges. The thing is he doesn’t even know why he acting like this as he has Lily and doesn’t need anyone else. It not like either of them planning to rebuild the saiyan race or anything, or he hopes not. They aren’t even teenagers yet and he has random thoughts going through his mind now.
“Are we not cute enough for you?” Towa teased him but sounded more like a trick question.
“Yeah, but don’t any of you feel embarrassed about this?” He asked as he attempted to spin the spinner.
Only he ended up rubbing up against Delia which shook and caused them all to fall. This ended the game but he ended up getting a glare from Lyana and Towa as they were under and above him. It didn’t help his case with Delia sending one with a face redder than a tomato.
“I think we can leave the cave now?” He said.
“Now he wants to leave after taking advantage of us,” Lily said as she wiped away a fake tear. However, she quickly stored away the game and looked out of the cave. The storm finally stopped and it looked like morning arrived.
Since all of them are at least rank four in either magus or warrior paths they can go a few days without sleep. Stepping out of the cave, Zaraf automatically sent a pulse through the ground to find the nearest beast. It has been nearly a month since they came and barely fought anything beside a few wolves and a pig. They were a decent meal but that about it.
Finding a large lizard towards the north of them and a rank six he nodded. Sure the beast is above their rank but they should be able to bring it down. A team formation should be able to work.
“I found a beast just north of here we can take. It will be a challenge as it is a rank six beast and lizard type one. As far as I can tell so it will be an exciting battle.” Zaraf called.
“Lets go check it out as it will be interesting to fight than.” Lily said as Towa, Delia, and Lyana just shook their heads as they followed.
Walking in the direction of their prey, they began to sneak to see what their prey looks like. It scales were green with a slight blue tint to them. Large legs thicker than three tree trunks and large black sharp claws. It’s head looks like an alligator or crocodile head and would have looked cool. Only it was currently eating it own tail as it slept like a baby, a really five meter baby.

“Should we attack at once?” Zaraf asked through hand signals.
“Yeah, aim for it weak spots though,” Lily replied.
“On three we launch our attack, but prepared if it doesn’t instantly die. I heard they have a high vitality and can go for a few moments even if it brain and heart are pierced.” Towa said as they nodded.
“One,”
“Two,”
“Three!”
When three was given they all launched towards the beast’s head and aimed for it eyes. Since it was laying down and most creatures with scales end up having unprotected stomachs. They couldn’t take advantage of that except Zaraf who sent earth spike off as the attack girls attack was about to land.
The sound of metal on metal was heard as their weapons failed to pierce the lizard’s eye lids. However, Zaraf attack did managed to wound the beast but failed to hit it heart. So, on very cranky and enraged lizard woke up and let out a mighty roar warning off nearby beasts. With fiery red eyes and large teeth ready to tear them apart for waking it up, it snapped it teeth at Lily.
Surrounding the beast the girls spread out as they pair up forming a triangle formation. Delia and Towa paired, as Lily and Lyana paired. Since they were five Zaraf was by himself and the Beast look straight at him. It was clever as it could see the weak point of the formation and charged at him with it mouth wide open.
“Hungry are you, will eat some earth.” Zaraf said as he slammed his hand on the ground and watched as a five meter thick rock wall form.
Hopping out of the way as the beast charged through it but ended up in a slight daze. Taking the change, Towa threw one of her daggers into the beast eyes blinding it left side. Using the chance as it thrashed around from going blind on one side, Zaraf sent another earth spike under it. Only it missed as the beast felt the mana and dodged.
Send an earth wall underneath were the beast landed, he managed to unbalanced the beast allowing Delia and Lily to enter and slash at it stomach. Adding the final attack and ending the beast, Lyana stabbed at it remaining eye and pierced the brain.
“Well, that was fun.” Zaraf said after they made sure it was dead.
“It was, as it actually gave us challenged for a change.” Lily said.
“Only because we got the drop on it.” Towa said.
“Come on it not everyday we bring down a beast ranks or rank above us.” Delia said.
“Whatever, I wonder if it tastes good.” Lyana said with her usually cold tone.
Cleaning the large lizard has proven to be a challenge as most of their knives or weapons could piece the scales. So, both Lily and Delia ended up practicing precise control with their wind blades. It was the only thing that could cut the lizard up as fire would cook it, earth could carry it.
As Lily and Delia were cutting up the lizard, Towa and him were storing the meat, while Lyana just drank it blood. She seems to get a strength boost from stronger beast or people, which he figures is from her vamp bat. It also seems that the lizard also had talent in fire element so her and Towa will get a slight boost from eating it. For the rest of them it will just taste good, while he will get the boost but since he doesn’t train the element yet it won’t do much.

Storing the rank six beast core away they collected the first one for their formation. Only sixty nine more to go and hope they will have enough before leaving. As for the expert that was in the area, they must have left as different beast are starting to come closer.
Well the beast came closer but kept their distance as they could smell blood in the air. As for not charging in, they must have learned that charging to the source is a good way to die early. So they didn’t have any unexpected guest, though they would be welcome to be added to the meal menu.
“Shall we begin hunting rank six beasts now?” Lily asked.
“I don’t see a problem as long as we use cation and not overestimate ourselves.” Zaraf said.
“Finding them is probably going to be the issue. If they live this long they won’t be unprepared like the lizard here.” Towa said with Delia nodding along.
“Who, cares as long I have blood I will surpass you in no time.” Lyana said.
Shaking their heads at their blood filled friend and servant. They wonder if the blood is giving her false strength and large amount of pride and arrogance. If she doesn’t come down from her blood high, they might have to wait it out as it could possibly kill them or her. Soon after finishing their harvesting, they move to a new area.
They sensed another rank five or six beast in the area and went towards it. Thus creating a cycle which will cause hunters to spread rumors. The magical beast began to move and enter others territories to escape something.
Days turned to weeks and weeks turned into months as Zaraf and the four girls entered. They began hunting down and killing anything that caught their attention or sight. When they weren’t hunting they were gathering or exploring ruins they stumble across. Some of them haven’t been found in centuries leaving great loot for them to find.
With the loot they managed to find the spells for rank seven and above along with a few warrior Qi methods. They also made progress in their cultivation as they reached mid rank for their current rank or made a small breakthrough. The only one that managed to break through into a new rank was Lyana as she was now rank four warrior and magus nearly rank five.
Blood from many different beasts boosted her, speed of gaining strength immensely. The only problem was it made her arrogant and prideful. This usually ended with a few smacks from anyone who near her when she begins.
When it came time for fall to begin and their time period from their leave of school was drawing to a close. They descended the mountain with nearly ninety rank six cores, and hundreds of the lower ranks. With all the cores and the money Zaraf makes off his statues, the five of them could laze around and be set for centuries.
Are any of them going to do that is unlikely as they are too active and love exploring ruins. They have a whole lot of land to explore and old ruins to discover. That was only for this universe, for the trio as they can do the same in their Dragonball universe.
So are they sad to be returning to the Ernst Institute, a little but they could use it as a rest period. Going through dangerous territories and ruins could be draining and getting low on clothes. Sure they don’t mind their clothes getting dirty except they are covered in blood, holes or barely held together.
“So what do we do now?” Lily asked.
“I say we train and leave the institute and continue exploring the continent. Maybe raid some bandit camps or look for undiscovered ruins.” Towa said.
“Hmm, I don’t see a problem as we got the rank seven and above spells for most of the elements. The only problem I see is Delia being forced back to her clan.” Zaraf said.
“Well, just send them a letter on your progress and what you discover.” Lyana said with a slight attitude. She recently drank the blood of a rank three wolf so they could only sigh as it going around a few hours till loses the attitude.
“I suppose but they probably just send out a search team for me. I guess one of us need to reach saint rank. Hanging and traveling with a saint should solve the issue for a time. Though I would need to reach saint rank in the near future also.” Delia said.
“Well we are all going to reach there and higher at some point in the future. Unless something really bad happens we should be fine.” Lily shrugged.
Nodding as they agreed, they hired a wagon to take them back as they didn’t really want to return. So, to give them some time before returning as long as possible and still within the time they asked for. Thus they hired the wagon for a trip they can make in a few hours of jogging or walking due to their rank.
With the wagon it would take about a day to arrive which they will count as a rest day.
“I wonder happened to that bandit we ran into before entering the mountain?” Delia asked.
“Probably died to someone else or beast. He wasn’t exactly the strongest or anything like that.” Lyana coldly stated.
“It could have been the expert that was following us.” Towa suggested.
“I suppose, though my instincts feel something annoying coming in the near future. It like an old man was eyeing Zaraf body.” Lily growled making everyone sweatdrop. Why would she be the one feeling it if it was Zaraf he was studying.
“Wonder if I gained any new roommates, or if it still only Dixie.” Zaraf asked changing topics.
“Hmm, I doubted it as you are one of the few male geniuses or prodigies. If you haven’t noticed they usually stick them together.” Delia said.
“Nope, to busy training and watching cute girls though mainly Lily.” Zaraf answered without shame.
“Try saying that again in a few years.” Lyana said causing them to laugh as the wagon driver just shook his head.
The ride back was filled full of laughter just like that as they were unaware of an old man watching the wagon. With his long white hair pulled back and reading glasses hanging off his pocket he smile.
“I should invite them to come train with me once they become saints. I see a lot of promise in them, but let's see what they do against the radiate church.“ He muttered as he faded out of existence.
Arriving back at the institute, Zaraf followed by the girls signed in telling them that they are back. Sorting everything out and learning that they are still in the same dorm they split as Zaraf wasn’t allowed to stay with them. So, trying to get back into the swing of things as he won’t be by Lily side for eight hours at night.
“Tomorrow time to put maximum effort time three into training. The sooner we progress the sooner we leave. Though need to be careful not to ruin our future potential.” Zaraf muttered.
Reaching his dorm and seen that Dixie is practicing, he left a not informing him he back. Sitting in his room he quickly began to meditate as he might as well train his mage force. No point in trying to sleep with Lily nearby, as he sighed. Having her by his side always is starting to sound a little crazy as it was true.
“Well time to practice,” he muttered as he began practicing.
==================================================================
At the time of the Rafiate Church tower, an old man was hissing as he threw a fit. The man he sent to kidnapped the group of five prodigies, so he can create more angels failed to return. What's worse is he hasn't heard or got any messages from him in months and he refused to believe few ranks four magus killed a rank nine. So, either something unexpected happens or the man ran away.
“Sir, should we try again?” a woman asked with a silver mask over her head.
“No, we must wait until they leave again. If they vanished from the school it might raise some eyebrows and trouble we don’t need. One of them has a large background which will cause some trouble. We will wait as I believe it won’t be long before they leave.” The old man said as he calmly thought it out.
“Very well sir.” The woman said leaving the man alone.
“Soon, we will have five more angels on our side.” The old man muttered.
