《Earth: The Gods' Playground》Chapter 14

"Ugh." I woke up as I feel pain from last fight.
I sit on bet, It looks like they moved me here after I passed out.
Just as I remember it, I feel grief due to Second being destroyed.
Tears flow as I thanks him in my mind for everything he has done.
Thanks to his sacrifice I will rise powerful skeleton from Troll body in his name.
Then I hear worried shouts from another room.
"Thomas, you finally woke up!" Monic and Chief run to me.
"Yes I'm okay, thanks for bringing me here. How is the situation?"
"Well, after you killed it we took you and your items here." Chief takes something out from his pocket.
"Those two items were dropped by Goblin Chief and Troll." He hands me them.
I look and see amulet from bones and some thin book.
I focus my gaze as information gathers showing me screens.
Amulet of Lesser Spirit
This amulet clears one mind adding +1 spirit to user.
So thanks to that Goblin Chief was able to use his ice arrows so much. Good item, I was bothered about increasing my spirit stats but it matters not now.
I turn my gaze to the book.
Trait Book - Troll Body.
Trolls are monsters possessing regeneration higher than beings of their level as well as tougher bodies, This book gives bonus of +1 vitality.
Perfect! This book basically means that Bosses can drop really precious things that can't be bought right now. If I get another occasion I will definitely kill another one.
Probably not many people have killed bosses now, I should keep this information secret so there will be higher chance of me meeting another boss.
Not only that, stronger members of monster races can have some pretty precious stuff like the amulet. From my home side of the river there was road from where Direwolves were hunting.

Perhaps...I can get something from leader of their pack which should be at the beach near the road.
I open the book and it evaporates leaving light which merges with my body, after that I can feel my body getting more powerful and hardy. I then wear the amulet, possessing two right now, I look like some cult member, heh.
"Good things right?" Monic grins.
"Good as hell! If I get stronger and hunt some other boss I will to get something good!" Chief smiles awaiting another occasion.
I stand up. Looking around I don't find my spear. It probably turned into ash already.
That was a good spear. I check then my pocket and see that I still have Troll soul imprisoned in the crystal ball.
I focus my gaze on it.
Mountain Troll Soul.
Soul of one star local boss, can be used as offering to gods, as well as used to strengthen user by +2 spirit, if user is necromancer it can be also used to give random trait to undead based on soul strength.
Let's leave it aside for now, I want to rise Troll body as skeleton.in Second name.
Come to think of skeletons, I remember that I had mastery of Death magic. Let's take a look.
Congratulations!
Death magic mastery has been upgraded. Medium Death magic mastery. First door required to understand the art of Death, many reach this point, but not many transcend it. Necromancer can now rise up to 5 skeletons, due to inefficiency of gaining experience user can now cancel experience sharing so specific undead can gather experience on it's own. User can use Dark bolt spell with greater efficiency, Dark bolt spell uses less mental energy and is slightly stronger. User can use Curse magic at 10% on opponents on level higher than user by 1.
So much information, I can rise 6 skeletons now, sadly 30% of shared experience will be divided by six to 5% per skeleton. I will probably cut shared experience for First and Third for the moment.

The information states that it was easy first step on my patch, so the second step must be considerably harder. So what's the requirements.
Requirements to reach High Death Magic Mastery. Have undead kill 1000 enemies,
or
Kill 1000 enemies using Death Magic offensive spells.
Debuff spells do not increase proficiency.
Ten times more? I wonder if there are more levels to it. It really is step not transcended by many.
It will be long time. Let's not think about this.
Lastly, my status, I got two new levels, let's use the points in good way.

Whole lot of money and crazy good stats, that's what I like.
I just realized I just sat there on the bed for a time while making weird faces.
"You okay? Probably much happened to your skills and other things?" Chief asks.
"Yeah some good things, don't worry." I stand up.
"Let's go."
I walk to the room with window where stands First and Third.
Looking at the floor I see that arrows that were used are already retrieved, however a bit less, probably broken.
"Take your things, give some of the arrows to Third as there are too many and let's go."
While talking I upgrade First stats and then walk downstairs.
Status Window

We leave the house and gather in the plaza full of bodies and blood.
I turn my gaze to the not far off body of Mountain Troll and walk close to it.
I look at it with pity reminiscing Second bravery.
Sigh.
I wonder how that body will change the new skeleton.
"Rise skeleton." I see longer process of flesh disintegrating then materialisation of new brother.
After a while what greets me is slightly taller than normal skeleton with thicker bones. His skull looks vaguely similar to troll and he has long arms, it looks human but the origin is still there.
"Your name will be Second, after dead brother who sacrificed himself for your new body.
I check his stats.
Status Window
Name: Second
Level: 1 Class: Classless Skeleton Race: Skeleton
Strength: 1.7 Agility: 0.9
Vitality: 1.6 Spirit: 1.2
Bonus Attributes:
Tough bones +1 to strength, vitality
"Wooh, he is strong from the start. That's some great bones you had there Troll." I praise.
I don't give him equipment that his predecessor used. They get a class based on weapon they have. I will think about his weapon when I return home.
I have crystal ball and money that can buy Orb of Intelligence, If I used these on him and spend some money on good weapon his strength would very soon reach mine. He would become my strongest ally.
I turn away and spending some time I rise three new skeletons while giving one of them spear and shield, the other two grab wooden spears from goblin bodies.
"My work here is done for now." I turn to Monic and Chief.
"I invite you to my home today, let's relax at my place, come." I wave hand and set off, my comrades follow my lead.

Our Chaoz; Our Reality (Completed)
Everyone has their own reasons, be it past events, personality or simply company. But most at some point divulge themselves into videogaming, be it for entertainment or more compettitive reasons. In this year and age there are many genres of gaming, one specific genre though still holds on tight to the ledge it was pushed to trying to pull itself back up. MMORPGs were once the top of everybody's list, adventure, combat, storytelling and endless grind in one single game. It was a different life for most, as if a parallel world to our own. You could be a knight indulging yourself in combat, a mage expertly crafting spells of mass destruction or creation. A ranger exploring the land and hunting down prey, an assassin completing contracts and hording the spoils. A troll scamming children out of their hard earned 10 gold and making more hardcore players rage quit for the day. Or something else. Kyle was a simple player, he always picked the strangest classes or jobs and his characters almost looked the same. He played for the combat, he played for the grind and he played for his guild but above all he played for the story. Kyle is a roleplayer, one who enjoys the simple parts of this virtual life. Whether his guild was starting a war or ending one he'd always have his drammatic entrence or exit, his decleration of annihalition or demand of surrender. After all that? He divulged himself in the game's story, the interaction with NPCS (Non Player Characters) and their advanced AI. He went through many questlines, many tales of heroics and many more adventurers of legend but one thing always remained true with his character. Kyle absolutely loved to the play the villain. But when game turns reality, what will he and his guild of twisted personalities do?

World Wonderer
Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisks her into another world. You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure, but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria. Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome? Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own? ****** Author note: This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had. That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @[email protected] Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated!
