Chapter 23 – Threat and Preparations
When I started meditating, I wondered if I should just remain like this for the next three days until the meeting, but after some thinking, I decided against that since I need to research about that guy who I fought with yesterday and I need to check on Lucy. I just hope that she didn’t get a trauma because of the incident yesterday.
I entered my world and nothing had changed in it. The sphere was unchanged and the realm was filled with energy. After a while, I decided to just strengthen the sphere by condensing more energy into it. Some of you may say that I can’t compress it more than it is, that’s true, but what I’m doing is adding more energy into it.
It will get thicker and thicker until I become stronger and then, I can condense it even more. If nothing happens, I’m planning to wait until I can make the barrier solid to build my realm. With that, my planet would be more protected and that would be useful later because I plan to make my universe like those in Xianxia novels where there are several realms and if someone becomes strong enough, they can destroy the barrier and ascend.
After I deemed that it was enough for today, I stopped meditating and opened my eyes. I looked at the time and found that it was 10AM. I looked for Lucy and I found her in her room. I teleported there.
“Hey, Lucy. Are you okay?” I said in a worried tone.
She was surprised because someone appeared out of nowhere, but after she found out that it was me, she calmed down.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine. I was just scared yesterday because of that monster” She replied in a reassuring voice.
“Then, that’s alright. I’m really sorry for yesterday. I didn’t think that it would turn out like that.” I said to her in an apologetic tone.
“Don’t worry about it. I don’t blame you for it. You just wanted us to have fun” She responded.
She smiled and jumped, hugging me.
“I still didn’t give you your reward for winning yesterday, right? I can’t let you down with that”
Just as she finished speaking, she started kissing me and we soon lied on the bad and had some refreshing sex. It was really good; I didn’t think that sex could make someone feel so amazing. Before, I wasn’t really attracted to the other sex (females), but now after experiencing sex, I started to feel how good it would be to have a girlfriend and lover.
We kept playing together until about 1PM. Like last time, she fell asleep because of exhaustion. I materialized my clothes and I went into the dimension where my clone and Victor were training. Of course, I checked with my clone and Victor was indeed with him.
I entered the area where they were sparring and I found that it was accelerated. As I thought, for me to be able to advance to this degree was only because time was accelerated. It had to be known that for deities to make a small advancement, they had to spend thousands if not dozens of thousand years of training. The area was accelerated to a degree that it formed a space on its own.
Time was always known to be connected with space. The time moves so the space moves with it. Space moves and time advances along it. It is a little bit more complicated than that, but I also used the same principle with my Spatial Freezing ability. It is hard to explain, but let’s just say that I stopped the movements of space with time to make a more powerful result which is the total freezing of space.

I told my clone that I’m here and I stopped sensing the enormous clash of energy ahead of me. I entered the time accelerated area and I instantly felt the difference. The space itself seemed different in here. Because of the horrifyingly fast movements of space, the place here was like a barrier. I’m sure that if Lucy or someone below the Deity rank was to enter here, his body would be shredded to pieces because he wouldn’t be able to endure the change in the speed of the movements of space. Maybe the same principle is applied to the space of the previous earth? However, instead of very fast movements, they are so slow that the body won’t have the ability to endure them. This needs some researching.
If I can further improve my understanding of this subject, I could make a new technique even better than Spatial Freezing.
As I was in my own realm of thoughts, I reached Victor and my clone. I dispersed him and he vanished into thin air. I turned to Victor and said to him.
“Hey, Victor.”
“Hey, Chris. What are you doing here? Weren’t you playing with that girlfriend of yours?” He replied trying to hide his anger.
I felt irritated when he mentioned Lucy like that, but I didn’t blame him for that because he’s much stronger than me and I don’t want to start a fight with him.
“Me being here or my clone being here doesn’t change anything. In the end, it’s still me who is becoming stronger” I said trying to ease the mood.
“Alright, you have a point there. So, what do you want? Why did you come here?” He asked.
“I’m sure that you already know. Don’t try to play the fool, I sensed your presence yesterday and I already know that you observed my fight with that guy. What I want to know is who is he and Why did he come here?” I inquired and the atmosphere between us instantly turned serious.
His eyes widened and he felt surprised. I didn’t know why, but I’m sure it’s because I was able to sense him.
“Hahahaha, you already become this strong. I’m sure that you can help us in our plan now. If you were able to sense my suppressed presence, then I speculate that you could fight some one half a step into the Sovereign realm.” He laughed like a maniac and I was startled because without knowing it, my level of strength rose to this degree without me noticing it.
“Back to our subject, as you said, I know who that guy is and his origins, but I won’t tell you. You’re too weak to know. Maybe if you enter the next rank, I would tell you. I’m not even sure if you have the qualification to know about them even when you’ve advanced your stage. However, be sure to remember this, this problem involves the fate of this whole world and because of it, you’ve just found yourself another reason to become even stronger. It seems that we must hasten your growth even more now. I’m sure you can handle it, though. So, are you going to train personally or are you going to leave your clone?” He asked me in a tone so serious that it made me recognize the threat of the situation.
However, I still didn’t train with him personally because that would only be unreasonable. Why would I waste my fun of conquering the alliances and train here while I could just leave a clone with him? The results would be the same in the two situations.

I re-summoned my clone and left him to train with Victor. I didn’t mention this, but Victor is always sparring with my clone in his demon form. It seems that he can’t be my match anymore when he’s in his human form. However, I can’t do anything to him when he transforms. I can only imagine his true power. He didn’t even let out his snake, so that means that he didn’t fully transform. I have a long way until I can be as strong as him not to mention surpass him.
With that done, I didn’t have anything to do, so after some thinking, I decided to check how things are going on in the castle. After a stroll in it, I didn’t find anything strange. The trainees were still training with my clone and as always, more creatures were coming here to enter my kingdom. However, this time, it was different. It seems that if you want to become a citizen of my kingdom, you can just register yourself in the System and you would officially become a citizen. As a result, it became easier for people to register as they could only become citizens and they would be granted access into the city.
The castle was only opened for fighters and those that wish to enter the military or become guards. However, their numbers were still high and soon the castle won’t be able to hold them. I need to make some improvement soon.
Maybe creating a flying city and making it the capital would be good. I should do that.
Also, with a sweep of my Divine Sense, I was able to learn that more people were migrating here from Europe. They weren’t many, though as traveling all this distance would take a lot of money and time.
I noticed that all the citizens of the European Union became mine. I wondered why and I just speculated that they became one forcefully since I conquered it by force.
I should wait until I add all the people from the other unions to my kingdom and then, I will start remodeling everything.
A bad habit of mine started to show itself again. When I was human, I always left the things that I need to do to the last minute. Even in exams, I would only revise for them at the last day. This caused me serious problems, but I can’t help myself but do it.
It seems that even after my transformation, this habit didn’t disappear. Although I know that this would cause some problems, I can’t help but do that.
After my contemplation, I decided to finish what I started yesterday; to make the monsters vanish from my territory.
I spread out my Divine Sense into the continent and I used the energy to surround each monster. I lifted them up to the sky and used Heat Energy to turn them into ashes. I estimated that the heat surrounding each monster reached at least 10,000°C. That’s a lot. At first, I only used half of that, but some monsters that I speculated to be Monster Kings managed to resist. So, I raised the temperature and made them turn to ashes.
This event would be registered in history as the Cleansing of the God where God cleansed the European Continent of the monsters in it.
After that was done, I decided to spend the remaining two days meditating.
In this period of time, I managed to make the barrier very thick to the extent that I felt it was enough. I didn’t want to make it even thicker because I would face some serious problems in the future because of it.
I woke up and when I checked the time, I found that it was 9AM of the day of the meeting. I didn’t specify a detailed time so I decided to prepare the meeting place and wait for them there.
I teleported on top of the coliseum and I checked the area around me for humans or monsters. There were monsters, however there weren’t any humans. That was because this place was a den of monsters. However, even though I inspected the area carefully, I didn’t find a monster strong enough to be their leader. I wondered why, but after some thinking, I decided to just ignore it. I did the same thing to the monsters here that I did to the ones at the European continent and the area was completely wiped of monsters.
Then, I went to the middle of the coliseum and in mid-air; I set a round table and three chairs. However, this wasn’t some normal furniture. They were made of Divine Ore. If someone heard of a meeting table made of Divine Ore, they would go crazy with envy and jealousy. The table red in color, so were the chairs. The table has engravings of dragons on it and it was covered by a cloth made of Soclil Silk, the most comfortable material in the world. The stuffed part of the chairs that was made by a comfy material was also covered by it. I’m sure that if a normal person not used to luxury sat on it, he would feel like in heaven.
All in all, it was one hell of furniture. This would make them believe that I’m superior to them not only on strength but also in resources, especially points.
The halo that the table and chairs were emitting was only helpful in making them respect and fear me even more.
I sat at the chair that would make me between the two of them and started meditated. I didn’t do anything special expect absorbing energy and storing it.
After an unknown amount of time, I opened my eyes and I was greeted with the sunset. It was a beautiful view. What woke me up were two powerful Auras heading this way while flying in the sky.
A grin escaped my lips while I thank of the things that I’m going to do to these poor kids that were going to meet a very horrible end.
Author's Note:
Sorry, guys. I know that I promised a chapter yesterday, but I didn't post it. I have a good reason for that.
You see, I'm now taking an exam that could literally decide my future. I can only take it this year because of my age.
Actually, the past two weeks were for revising for this exam. It's like an entrance exam to a very prestigious university except that it is a high school.
I'm not afraid of it because I have excellent school results, but I have to revise a little bit. At first, I planned to not post any chapter in these two weeks, but after revising, I didn't find any problem, so I had free time.
However, today was the first day of the exam and I still have 2 days to go. So, don't expect chapters in this period. I only posted this one today because I wanted to compensate for yesterday and because the tests for tomorrow are easy (English and French), at least for me.
So, I want to apologize for you guys because of that and because of the short chapter of today, only about 2250 words.

And then shit hits the hay… Starts up a bit slow, also a bit of wish fulfillment. Of course, there will be plot since I have a dislike for stories without plot, conflict, or even MC struggles. The Arcane Prince
Book 1 is complete and fully posted here on RoyalRoad. The story is on break as I work on Book 2, which will be posted once I have finished writing it. Max is a twelve-year-old boy from the slums who dreams of seeing the world, learning magic, and adventure. On the same day that Max learns his first spell, he meets Colt, a noble-born lad on his own path to power. Colt is kind. Oblivious to the world, but kind. By his grace, Max begins to learn under Colt's instructor, even hunting monsters in the forests to the north. Max is talented and grows in power quickly, but as he prepares for the first of his adventures, the kingdom faces the greatest threat in centuries. Posting Schedule: Every 3 days until the end of Book 1 (Chapter 45). IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) This is a story about an OP boy doing OP boy things. By the end of Book 1, there will be few fights that he struggles with, and he will rarely, if ever, find his life in peril. 2) This is a slice-of-life and adventure story, which means that there will be periods of chapters without any action or conflict, but also periods of chapters with battles and exploration/adventure (the latter mostly being Book 2+). 3) There will be NO petty squabbles or conflicts going on in this story, because it is meant to be a fun one, not a high-tension, drama-filled story. So it will NOT be that. If you want lots of action or lots of conflict, then find another story to read because this isn't it. 4) There will never be an overarching evil/villain/conflict to deal with in this story past Book 1. Ever. 5) Book 1 is entirely written and can be considered a standalone story on its own. Right now, the story may last 2-3 books, or it may last 7-10 books. It is guaranteed to make it through Book 2 or 3, and if I decide to go with the bigger journey I have planned after that, then it will be longer. There will be a several-month wait between Book 1 and Book 2. 6) The story contains the sexual content tag, but it will not contain any unless Max and his future boyfriend reach 18+ years of age in-story. If I decide to bring the story to a conclusion with Book 2 or 3, or they never reach that age in the full story for the long journey, then I will remove the tag. 7) There are currently absolutely no plans to make this story into a harem if I write the extended story. If I write the extended story and decide at some point to make it one, then I will add the appropriate tag and inform readers of this decision. However, there are currently zero plans to make it one. 8) This story takes place in its own story universe, with its own rules. Please keep that in mind when reading it and other stories.
