Chapter 20 – Toy and Fun Time

I immediately let out my Divine Sense [I forgot if I mentioned before. It is his skill ‘Sense’ fused with his Divine Energy] and covered the whole world. I found the place where the person backing the American Alliance was staying and teleported there.

It was actually in a forest. I felt surprised by this since no one would be living in an unguarded forest when he has such a position. Maybe he is confident that he can defend himself alone or maybe he is sure that no one would know that he is located in this place.

I teleported far from him, about 50 meters away. He noticed that someone trespassed his territory since the barrier broke and started looking around trying to find me.

I felt slightly surprised by what I saw there; everything was frozen. Tress, grass, plants, even some animals were frozen. His ability must of be close to ‘Ice Magic’

After finding out that he can’t sense my presence at all, he shouted.

“I know that you’re here. Who are you and what do you want?”

A smile escaped my lips. I just found a new toy to play with. I used ‘Telepathy’ with my Mind Magic and spoke directly in his mind.

‘Hey, kid’

He was startled and he started looking around him. I could see the cold sweat that ran through his forehead. I was confused by this, but then the realization hit me; I forgot to suppress my Aura and presence.

It must have felt like a sonic boom going off inside his head for him. I then decreased my Aura, not suppress it totally, but only decrease its power. I did that because it would be unreasonable to make him have a weak impression of me after that display.

I then teleported and appeared just in front of him. He was surprised and immediately backed off about 10 meters. Wise decision if I had to say.

He kept looking at me, inspecting me to be exact, and we both kept being silent. I broke the gloomy atmosphere and said.

“I have a lot of question to ask you, boy. First, let’s start with your name, what is it?”

He kept being silent, but after some contemplating, he answered. “It’s Icewalker”

A nickname, huh? I don’t really care about his real name and I only asked him about that because I wanted to check his rank in the System. It seemed that he is ranked 2nd, just after me. Quite good if I had to say. Now, moving on.

“I want to ask you about how you managed to gain that much power in such a short amount of time”

His eyes showed unwillingness and I felt annoyed because of his silence, so I just released some bloodlust and he started trembling.

“I’m being benevolent to you here and what are you doing? Just ignoring me. Know that I can just check your memories and I don’t even have to keep you alive. I suggest that you start talking or else…” My voice turned extremely cold at the end.

I didn’t lie while saying that. After I advanced to the Deity realm, I found out the problem with why I couldn’t check other people’s minds. It wasn’t a problem with my energy control but with the concentration of energy.

Before, I could make a hair-sized thread of Divine Energy easily. I thought that would suffice for searching people, but it wasn’t. I found out that the concentration of Divine Energy in that thread was so high that a normal human’s mind wouldn’t be able to endure it and it would lead to serious side effects, even death. However, now, I could even make an orb as big as a continent and it would only have a little bit of Divine Energy that even a normal human can endure an attack with it. That could be useful to make feints in fights or deceive the audience in a fight or something like that.

Back to Icewalker, when I finished speaking, he started trembling and then just let out a sigh and said.

“Before I tell you about that, I want to ask you a single question. It’s okay if you don’t answer, but I would be grateful if you did. What’s your name?”

“It’s Chris, the Demon God Chris. I’m sure you know about it” I replied.

He had a shocked expression on his face, but then, strangely, he started laughing.

“Hahahahahahahaha, I never thought that the gap between the 1st and 2nd ranked people would be this big. Hahahahahaha, it’s truly funny, you know.”

He’s true with that. If I was still a human, I would also be driven mad if somebody got this much stronger than me in the same period of time.

He stopped laughing and began to recite his story. I won’t go into details, but to sum it up; he was a son of an influential politician and when the apocalypse occurred, he was in his class in the university. He managed to gain the trust the rest of his classmates and managed to deceive them to hand him their points. His origin seemed to help him a lot. I didn’t feel confused when he said that he ‘stole’ the points since I already knew about it. It seems that you can transfer points with the System. You can also exchange items and all other things bought from the System. It can also serve as a private shop.

I didn’t ask him how he deceived the kids and I also managed to detect some lies in his story, but they weren’t in the important parts, so I was sure that other than the details of what happened, he was truthful about everything else. I felt slightly irritated that he tried to lie to me, but it was nothing serious.

I also asked him about his ability and unexpectedly, it wasn’t Ice Magic. It was ‘Ice Manipulation’. It is expensive and when I asked him about his Class, he told me that it was a Mage. Using it, he was able to utilize the abilities he bought simultaneously and with that he managed to achieve freighting control of ice. Nothing powerful compared to me, though.

After I finished investigating, I was left with 2 choices. Either to brainwash him and make him my ‘doll’ or to leave him like this. I decided to go with the second option since I already planned to brainwash the higher-ups of all the alliances when we were going to meet. Seeing his reaction would be amusing, too. I wonder if I should do the same with the Asian guy.

After he finished talking, I turned to him and said in an imposing voice befitting a God.

“Be respectful to MY empire, the Divine Kingdom, kid” [I didn’t want to repeat kingdom twice, so I changed it to empire. It’s still a kingdom, though]

I teleported back to the castle, but I watched his reaction with my Divine Sense. He seemed to be shocked and he took out a paper. Looking at it closely, it seemed to contain an array. He activated it and I heard him say

“Immediately gather all the people, we must have a meeting. Nobody is allowed to skip it. It’s a very urgent matter”

His tone was cold and impatient, the danger that he must have felt from me was nothing to be laughing at.

I stopped observing him and once again I covered the whole world with my Divine Sense. I looked at the European Union and found out that they are assembling soldiers. It seems that tomorrow or maybe the day after that is the time when that bastard is going to regret offending me.

[I’m feeling that the MC is becoming just like those arrogant antagonists in novels. I don’t care though, because he has the power to back it up]

It was still in the afternoon now and I don’t have anything to do. My clones are taking care of the kingdom and one of them is training with Victor. Lucy is still sleeping (I checked her with my Divine Sense) and there’s nothing to do.

After some thinking, I came up with 2 choices; either to go meditate or to visit the city below the castle. I felt that it was unnecessary to visit it, so I started meditating. I was in a dangerous mood since I was looking to killing that bastard and if someone made me angry, I would probably kill them.

I entered my room and after kissing Lucy on the forehead, I sat on the small bed and entered my realm. I found something different about it. It was full of energy, Divine Energy. I contacted my clone and he told me that Victor told him to absorb energy and start building the universe. Since he was just a clone, he didn’t build the world since it is mine and I should be the one to build it to my desire. It would be the same, though since we’re basically the same people with the same taste and all.

I also received memories of what Victor told him to do. It seems that I should start building the boundaries of my world. Just like the Earth has a layer that separates it from the space, I should also do that. When I started thinking like that, a question entered my mind. Is Earth a part of an Omni’s cosmos? And the sun, moon and all of them as well? It was useless to ponder about it now so I just concentrated on building my universe. I started condensing the Divine Energy until it started to have a physical form. It was a golden light and after condensing it even more, it started to liquefy. I couldn’t compress it any longer with my level of strength so I just formed a big sphere with it. It was 10 times the size of the previous earth.

I didn’t want to meditate for a whole week like before, so I got out. I found that my room was empty and the bed was tidied up. I wonder if Lucy did that? Now that I think about it, I should hire some maids to serve us. I wonder who was making food all this time? It wasn’t my clone, maybe it was Lucy. Between the 3 of us, only Lucy needs to eat so maybe she just cooked her meals alone.

I got out and went to the balcony. There, I saw a scene that calmed me down. It was dawn and the sun was rising in the horizon. The world was colored red close to orange and it made even ME calm down. I wonder why?

I spread out my Divine Sense and I saw that the European army was waking up and starting to prepare for its march. I wondered how they were going to come here and how did they even know the place of this kingdom. My first question was answered by military vehicles, ships and all kinds of transportation machines that I found in their route. The bastard didn’t even bother to buy some teleportation type device or a future spaceship or airship. Since I knew now how the top players got the points necessary to buy all their abilities, I was sure that he had many points, especially since he was a prisoner and was respected by all outlaws and since he ruled with strength, the number of points that he assembled must have been the most, except me of course.

I waited for about 2 hours for the whole army to reach my array. I put it very close so I don’t have to wait much.

The army was surrounded by a blinding glow and before they knew it, they were in the valley. Also, 4 people seemed to dodge the array, I had to compliment them for that. However, I surrounded them with my energy and forcefully teleported them. They tried to resist, but they couldn’t block my energy.

Around 30 thousand people were locked in my formation. Some of the higher-ups had futuristic gear, but the rest were normal soldiers with some cheap classes, I guess.

Some of the more powerful people tried to break the barrier open, but they couldn’t even make it shake a little bit.

I isolated the normal soldiers from the higher-ups. Then, I made another barrier locking the bastard alone. I didn’t mention this, but since I’m the creator of this formation, I could control it freely. I can change its boundaries and can even make a maze out of it.

I didn’t waste much time with the soldiers, I just brainwashed them and gave them the setting of ‘the Divine Kingdom’s most loyal soldiers’. After that, I moved to the higher-ups, there were 12 of them. They were slightly powerful, about Jack’s level. No, maybe weaker than him. I think that Jack can handle 3 of them at the same time. However, that power came from their equipment unlike Jack who relies mostly on his personal power. I wonder if I should upgrade Jack’s equipment even more. I’ll ask him about it.

Back to subject, I was thinking of making them kill each other and I will take the victorious one and make him a general in my kingdom. However, that isn’t enough. Right, I should make them have illusions. I made them have illusions of their families being tortured and killed in front of them with the worst kind of pain and the one who killed them would be the soldier near them. After they killed that one, they would have a dream of their friends being tormented by another soldier.

I thought that it wouldn’t work by making that much complex illusion, but it did.

I then proceeded to punish the bastard. When I entered the zone where he was located, I heard him yelling.

“Who the fuck dares to do this to me!? Release me and I will give you a fast death! Fuck you! I am the fucking Criminal God, you motherfucker! Release me now!”

Anger filled me when I heard him blabber such words. I decided to further torment him more than I planned.

I immediately made the time flow faster than the outside world. I used Time Magic to do that. I made it so every second in the outside world would be an hour in this place. It was quite easily that I was a little bit surprised. Then, I further tried to make it even slower and I decided to stop when every second became a day in this place. I could go even more, but I felt that this would be enough.

I waited for about a minute and I tried to see what happened to him in these 60 days. What I found shocked me. He was crying and whimpering like a small kid. He was saying somethings like these.

“Please, I’m sorry. *hic* I apologize. *hic* Please, release me *hic* I beg you. *hic* I would serve you forever.*hic* Please”

I felt disgusted and even pitied him a little bit, but that didn’t stop me from further torturing him. I used my Mind Magic to make him have nightmares and make him see all his relatives and family getting slaughtered. I felt that this was not enough, but a mad laughter stopped my thoughts. About 5 seconds have passed, but for him it must’ve felt like 5 days. He mentally broke from all the nightmares. Now, I won’t even have fun further punishing him.

I decided to end his torment and I killed him. One thing that I only noticed when getting closer to him was that some energy was leaking out from his body. After some thinking, I guessed that he must’ve consumed many pills and with that he was able to get to this stage in cultivation. However, his foundation was enormously unstable and he was extremely weak because of that. If he cultivated slowly and smartly, he would’ve became the 2nd strongest after me easily.

With that done, I went back to the generals and only 4 were living. The others were slaughtered and their bodies were killed in such an awful way that their corpses were unidentifiable.

I made time faster and soon enough, only one person was left. He was about 25 years old and he had blonde hair with blue eyes. His face was a little bit pretty like a girl’s, but his trained body made him manly. When he killed the last one of his former comrades, he fainted from the mental fatigue.

I quickly went beside him and I brainwashed him with the same setting as the normal soldiers. I deactivated the array and just as I was about to teleport them to the castle, I found a problem. It was their number. They couldn’t fit in there.

After some thinking, I decided to throw them into the space where Victor and my clone are training. Of course, I put them in a different place or else they would die just from the shockwaves of their sparring.

After that, I went back to my room in a very good mood without even thinking of the consequences of killing the higher-ups of the European union.

Hey, guys! This is the longest chapter that I've ever written. It contains about 2900 words.

I had to write this chapter separately since my father had to use my computer because it has Photoshop so expect some mistakes since my ideas were cut.

I hope that you like it and I would appreciate some feedback.

Also, guys, it would be really helpful if you wrote some non-biased reviews where you clearly point out my mistakes so I can fix them. Some people did that to me before and I've followed their advice and improved myself.

If you try to compare the first chapters to the last ones, you would notice the difference. Even writing some criticism in comments is welcome.
