Chapter 16|| Conversation
"Told ya."
As Ryyla and Kai both continue to look at Sen like they're crazy, after about 2 minutes Ryyla picks her jaw off the floor and ask.
"Tara you do ventriloquism th..that's impressive.. haha."
"It wasn't me you saw yourself it was clearly Sen."
Kai also thought that this was some type of joke.
"Tara, honey come on that's not funny."
"It wasn't me it was Sen, come on Sen speak up, please."
Tara looked on at Sen with puppy eyes still unsure if he would speak up curious as to how he even could, but she knew she wasn't crazy, she just had to get the other two to believe it.
Kai's POV
"No way he can speak, can he?"
They all looked on at Sen in silence waiting for him to speak up until Kai finally spoke up instead.
"See Tara I told ."
"What should I say?"
Once more everyone looked at Sen, they each clearly saw his mouth move followed by comprehendible language but it was Tara who was the first to speak up.
"Sen do you know who we are?"
For another moment, it was quiet followed by.
"Of course I know who you are mother I'm not dumb."
Ryyla slipped out a laugh.
"Kukuku interesting so interesting you can speak."
"Yes, Ryyla I can speak."
"Oh, you even know my name kukuku."
Ryyla couldn't keep from laughing and grinning, Sen was simply the most interesting thing she's ever witnessed. Meanwhile, Kai was just shocked, ever since him and Tara had Sen, things have just gotten weirder and weirder he was speechless.
"Could everyone stop staring like I'm some sort of freak especially you Ryyla that smile of yours is definitely perverted ."
"Kukuku me a pervert and what are you little demon, are you here to eat us."
Kai snapped back to reality after Ryylas last few words he realized people were right Sen is a demon, and it was his fault. Because of his blood Sen had it running thru his veins, but he wondered if Sen could call down lightning what else was he capable of. He began to show fear on his face and Tara saw it.
"Kai, why are you looking at Sen like that. You don't have to be afraid of him he's not really gonna eat us, right Sen."
"Why would I eat you, what is wrong with you people. So what if I am part demon that has no relevance to my appetite what so ever ."
Kai finally decides to chime in.
"How long since you could speak Sen."
"Just right before the lightning came, I tried a few times before but every time I did it always came out as a whine or something else. Never as speech."
Kai's POV
"This doesn't make any sense how is this possible."

"Kukuku so you are able to grasp speech, what else are you capable of little one."
"Do not call me little one, I may be a baby, but my mind is far more advanced then most adults."
Sen shot a glare at Ryyla but to her it was still a baby's face so it was literally cute instead of menacing. A large smile appeared on her face she knew deep down she has found the discovery of the century and she simply must know more.
"Hahaha i get it I get it I won't call you little, but you must know, I myself am pretty advanced and as I am I must ask how are you capable of speech your not even 2 months old ."
Pondering momentarily Sen couldn't answer the question himself so he just went with his basic understanding of it.
"As to how I am capable of speech, well I'm not quite sure myself but to my understanding it's not any different from someone else's linguistic capabilities. I form a thought and simply say what I wish to say nothing more ."
Tara could only smile at first when she heard Sen's voice. Right before the lightning struck she was stunned she immediately thought she was crazy, but she remembered that Sen was a demon, and then she felt fear, but at the end of all her thoughts one thing kept popping in her mind.
Kai as well was part demon and he wasn't a monster, it must be how you're raised. She swore to herself that from that day on she would raise Sen to be the most upstanding man so no matter where he went no one would look at him as a monster nor as a demon, but with respect as a fine man.
This madeTara smile more because she now knew that Sen was intelligent plus the fact that he could use 3 elements. Therefore he was destined for great things, as a mother how could she not be prideful of a son that was so special. she just kept on grinning.
"So like I said before how are you worthy of being my master hmm?"
"Kukuku when it comes to wind and light magic there is nothing I do not know. I could teach you many things Sen, I could teach you how to master these things ."
"I will master wind and light on my own in due time if that is all you have then ill have to pass."
Ryyla was dumbstruck there were literally hundreds who came to her year after year that would throw away fortunes just to learn one spell from her, and this infant would pass so easily. It made Sen's stock rise in her book and now a switch in her mind was flipped she simply must have him as her disciple.
Ryyla's POV
"This boy kukuku, so interesting, he says he'll master wind and light on his own. He's part demon he has 3 elements and his mana potential is the 10th rank like me plus I can't shake the feeling that something is going on within those eyes of his. I must have him but what can entice one so small whose future merits are so unpredictable. What do I have, what what, ah! that's it kukuku."

"Boy, do you know where you are right now?"
Sen could not help but think this was some weird test and he did not wish to entertain Ryyla. as if he were a pet. So he just gave her a glare, but once again it only looked like a cute face to Ryyla.
"Hmm, so what now you can't speak, or is my beauty just too mesmerizing that you're frozen."
"As if you weirdo, I just don't wish to entertain such a stupid question with my time."
"Oh, stupid is it, so that means you know the answer then."
"Of course."
"Then could you please enlighten me I'm sure your father would like to know as well."
Kai was also curious he had forgotten to get a proper explanation from Ryyla because of talks of dragons and Sen himself talking. His mind just couldn't keep up.
Sen looked towards Kai and sure enough Kai had a face which said where are we. Sen decided to throw him a bone.
*sigh*
"Were in a house not too far from where that battle was just held, probably just inside a forest a few miles from Freyor."
Hearing this Kai shot to his feet now it made sense, that's why Tara didn't want him going outside because even though he couldn't feel the region knights it wouldn't be strange if they were hiding their presence. Kai thought that they must be outside the house hidden nearby, but just after Sen finished speaking Ryyla jumped in with a crazy laugh.
"HAHAHAHAHA how wrong you are little Sen how wrong you are."
"What, you lie, we must be, I can still feel the mana essence from the lightning and it feels like its only a throw away. Tell me how could I feel that if it weren't so ."
"HAHAHA, come come."
Ryyla ushered for everyone to follow her, so Tara held Sen in her arms and followed Ryyla, Kai got up and followed as well. When he heard Sen's explanation it made sense because he too could feel the lightnings mana essence nearby that's why he was a bit nervous cause he really did think that right outside the region knights were hiding in wait.
As they all walked out of the small room they were astonished at what they saw they were in a huge house maybe a mansion, the hallway they walked down led to a huge wide open room with white marble floor and paintings on every wall. There were even many things behind cased glass signalling their expense.
As they continued out of the room they soon found themselves at the foot of some stairs and to the side of them were two 30 foot high doors that were as wide as at least 2 bulls were long. Ryyla walked to these overbearing doors and signaled everyone to step in front of them.
As Kai stood there he felt more and more paranoid that this was some type of elaborate trap, and that as soon as the doors were opened the region knights would storm in and try to kill him. He couldn't help but reach at his waist for his sword, but it was then that he realized that he didn't have it on him.
Kai's POV
"Dammit, this winch must have taken it from me while I was out. If this is a trap then this time ill take the bracelet from my wife and ill be a 7th rank. After that, I can at least grab my family and flee Ryyla couldn't possibly be higher than a rank 7 could she?"
As Ryyla flicked her wrist a gush of wind immediately flung open the doors and everyone's mind just went blank. What they saw, well its a bit hard to describe. They themselves had no clue what they were looking at and so Ryyla seeing they're stupid expressions started laughing like a maniac.
"HAHAHAHA now do you all see. We're clearly not at freyor anymore, should I tell should I tell."
Just outside, the doors was an ocean which covered below as well as above. It was a faint light green with sparkles of silver mixed in that swirled constantly. Everywhere you looked whether it be up down side to side was this endless ocean of green and silver.
Sen searched his memory and indeed there was an image of this, but he had no clue what it was. As he continued to watch it a sense of fear soon filled him. This ocean was somehow familiar and when he tried to think why that same head tearing pain entered his mind, and he nearly let out a scream. He immediately suppressed the thought and with a chill down his spine he asked.
"What is this?"
"Kukukuk so you don't know everything do you little Sen."
Anger swelled up in his heart, he tried to deepen his voice to sound angry but alas he was still an infant so it only came out cute and non-threatening.
"Dammit I may not know everything but I clearly feel the lightning essence somewhere out there. Are you done treating people like fools."
Tara jumped in.
"Sen that's no way to talk cursing like that, I am not raising a brigand so do not speak like one."
"Tee hee hee did someone get scolded."
Sen's face just looked wrinkled and he just decided it would be better to be polite or this conversation would simply not move.
"Sorry, mom you're right."
Kai seeing Sen act so meek in the face of his mother made him let go of some of his lingering fear, he thought, "Sen really is a kid."
"Kukuku what a baby."
Listening to this Sen's eye began to twitch but he suppressed his anger and for the first time he felt empathy for his father.
Sen's POV
This is what he's been dealing with.
"Ryyla, could you tell me what is this place?"
"Ah ah ah, you didn't say please."
Sen's little brow furrowed and with a forced smile he said.
"Please ."
"Kukukukuku welcome to my pocket dimension, do you still think I'm unworthy to be your master, little Sen."
