Their once was a boy, now this boy was an orphan, abandoned by his parents.

From an early age the boy learned to never trust anyone.

He had to survive on his own.

Fighting his way out of trouble.

Thieving, so he would not go hungry, life was not easy.

Then one day when the boy was on his daily pick pocketing, he tried pocketing an old man, but was caught.

The boys thought's were 'this is it,' but out of his expectations, the old man brought him to a dojo.

The old man told the boy, he would take care of him, as long as he could learn the man's martial arts.

The boy was not dumb and knew if he accepted and learned the martial arts, he would only gain.

So he accepted the old man's proposal, even though he accepted the offer, the boy would always be wary of the man, the memory of betrayal still fresh in his mind.

From the boy's first lesson the old man realized, he was a genius, quickly learning every move he taught him.

As time passed the boy kept on getting stronger and the distance between the old man and him were closing.

For once the boy felt like he could trust someone.

But like all good things, it must eventually come to an end.

The old man was sick and dying.

The boy, now a man, did not want to let the old man die, so he joined a fight club.

The man was winning all his fights and could finally afford to get his master the medical attention he needed.

The man happily ran to the dojo, but it was too late, his master had passed away. The man grieved, he had finally found a home, someone who he could call a guardian, If only he was faster in getting the money. He cursed the heavens for his misfortune and slammed his fists.

Through this action, he noticed a letter tucked underneath his master.

He opened it and started reading.

Dear Lin Feng,

If you are reading this, then I have already passed away. Do not grieve for me, the moments I spent watching you grow up were the happiest moments of my life. I had been watching you for a long time, through your struggles I was there. I saw the fire in your eyes, and the will to never give up. Your character was very impressive, I am glad I passed down the Fist God arts to a person like you.

Sincerely, Grand-master Pi

The man was greatly torn from reading the letter, and knew he had to get stronger, he had to prevent this from ever happening again: he needed money, he needed fame, and he needed respect.

From that day on the man vowed he would make the whole underground know the name, 'FIST GOD!'
