《From FPS Game to Another World》Chapter 13

It's been less 2 days since I accepted Sil to go with me.
Now I'm currently running back after scanning a wide range of area around the City and doing some test, here and there.
Here are some of what happen.
The first day really got so busy. When the buckets of water is been delivered to my room, I put my Suit back to my Warehouse so I can clean myself and told Sil to clean herself too and she quickly take off the rags she's wearing before I could even look the other way and I see a glimpse of her body, but I suddenly stop and stare at her body that have full of wound marks, more than I can count. She then saw me looking at her and said.
"S-sorry for the sight Mast--"
I suddenly hug her and her body became stiff, I don't know what to say so I just hugged her while patting her head, after a couple of seconds I could feel some wet sensation around my shoulder and hear her low voice saying.
"Thank you so much, Master."
We stay like that for a couple of minutes until Sil able to calm down.
After cleaning herself, I gave her something to wear, a shirt and pants from my Item Mall. I also learned that the auto-fit function of my equipment are working not only at me, both shirt and pants shirk to her size and for underwear I gave her the same thin nano-fiber short because I can't find any normal underwear for a little girl inside the Item Mall, everything are sexy underwear or a swimwear. She also bombard me with a lot of questions about it, but I just answered her that she'll experience a lot of things from now on that all she needed to do is enjoy it.
After that I talk to Pete in private to inform him about Sil, I told him everything and the moment I told him that she's a Demon, to my surprise he didn't have any negative reaction at all, I ask him about it and he just said that he knew some Demons and for him they are much better than some Humans. I also ask him to gave Sil her own room, when I told Sil about her own room she keep on saying that, I don't have to waste anymore Coins for her and that she can sleep at the floor, so of course I turned her down.

I didn't ask Sil about her past because it's obviously not a good one. I instead asked her what she liked, disliked, can do, etc. Sil like to cook, clean, almost all the household chores, yes, like a maid. She didn't dislike anything except being hurt. She don't know how to fight, but she know how to dissect some Monsters to get the parts that can be use or sell.
Then I ask Sil if I need to know some important things about her, she hesitate for a moment maybe because she think I would leave her once I found out, so I need to reassured her for a couple of minutes until she eventually told me what it is. Sil said that she had a unique disease, health potions or Healing Skills never worked at her she said, I asked how she able to recover her HP and she answered me that she can only count at her self regeneration. I quickly take out my serum injection and put 100% health serum then inject it to the shocked Sil but failed, it didn't worked and nothings change at her appearance and the missing little HP still remains, then I try to inject her an antidote serum but same result happen. I sigh and said.
"We need to look for a cure."
"It's already fine Master, you don't need to waste anything to me."
"Of course it's not fine. We will look for a cure and you don't have to worry about a thing, nothing will be wasted for as long as you get better."
"What if there's no cure Master?"
"Giving up already? Then we will look for what cause this to you and check if anything can be done to counter it at least. Just trust me Sil, you can count on me."
"I will always do, M-master."
I said those while smiling at Sil, she suddenly look down and answered me with a slight red in both her ears so I just pat her head while laughing a little.
I feel comfortable with Sil even without my Suit.
We both talk until late at night, when the time for us to sleep I gave her the key to her room and follow her to say my good nights. Sil's room is next to mine and also the same. After doing the usual, I start to sleep.

Early next morning, a knock at the door wake me up. It's Sil so I let her in then go back to my bed, still sleepy but can't sleep anymore I think of walking outside to wake myself up completely, I ask Sil but she refuse to come and before I could ask her why I remembered that her race is a Demon. I quickly look for something that can be use to hide her horns at my Item Mall and found a Deviruchi Hat, I told Sil to try it and pull a little at the side so her ears can also be hidden, for her tail she just wrap it around her waist, it's thin and easy to hide and she's still on guard at it from me.
When we go downstairs I see and ask Pete if he had some news about the others and he said someone saw them leaving the City the same day they had to repair their equipment, hearing that I already understand what happened next and just wish that they are somehow alive. No wonder I can't find them after a day, I even returned to that Labyrinth and check the place we all met for the first time. If only I put more thought about it, maybe I would had given them any item so that I can use to trace them. All I can do now is silently sigh.
Me and Sil are now currently walking outside and looking for somewhere to eat and this time even Sil got a lot of stares, Sil first to talk and ask.
"Master, is there any problem?"
"Actually, there is."
I know that I can trust her so I start to explain it to Sil while eating, she just answered me with.
"Master, I don't know if this can help but please better watch out for those kinds of peoples. I already saw these kinds from my travels, some even tried to fool my former master. Its like a normal thing that can happen every time and anywhere, you won't even notice about their traps, not until you fall into it."
"Thanks Sil, I'll keep that in mind."
After eating we explore some parts of the City that Sil still don't know. When we returned to the tavern it's already sun set, I talk to Sil.
"Sil, I'm sorry but I really need to look for the others later. I can't bring you at the moment because I want you to take a lot of rest, don't worry I will definitely be back before you even wake up later."
"I will always trust you Master. Just please be careful."
"Thanks Sil. I will leave after you sleep."
After a couple of Hours, Sil is now already asleep and I start my search again. I've already searched almost all parts of this rotten city and saw a lot that I can't explain with just words alone so my target tonight is more wider range around the city. Even a little clue can help.
Still failed to find anything I'm currently running back now to the City.
'Should I explore that castle too just in-case? But I heard that even the castle walls are also enchanted against intr--'
Cutting my thought I saw a lot of red dots that close to the City gate and at my path. I stop running and start to walk normally until I can see them in a clearing then someone shout.
"Looks like the information is correct! Do you have any idea how much time we had to wait for you?!"
'Finally. Someone I can ask.'
Yes, the one who shouted is the disgusting greedy bastard that with the others before they disappeared.

To honor the source material's Dungeons and Dragons roots, I will be rolling dice throughout the development of this story. Everyone has a character sheet. See how a natural 1 can turn the tide of a battle, how a successful intimidation check can subvert a fight, or how deception can reveal critical info. 8 140The Queen of School
Hi there, my name is Jason Corvus, you can call me Raven. My parents really (like a lot) wanted to have a boy, so when they found out that I was a girl, they still put me a boyish name. When my father was alive he always wanted to go to Tyndall Quantic Soren high school, but to the common people it was known as an elite school, but in reality, it is a school for those who are more than simple humans. My mother told me to fulfill his last wish and go to that school, but I am not that excited about it. Well, whatever. This time things seem more complicated than before, and I have no idea how long this time will last.
8 110Eliot Ness for Mayor
An everyman tests his mettle when a Voodoo god, in the guise of a kindly crackpot, thrusts him back in time and into a violent riot. Ironworker Frank O'Brien digs his life: great wife, tight family, and a job he loves, raising skyscrapers for a firm whose owner he respects. Smooth going until his boss, the owner's grandson, stirs racial and labor tensions. Soon, Frank's fighting the good fight, and standing tall seems to work. He even manages a few allies until a Voodoo god mucks up the works, knocking Frank back to 1966 and into the center of Cleveland's Hough riots to test his mettle. Needless to say, getting back to see his little girl's youth orchestra recital's gonna be a bitch. ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.
