As the toad boss was killed, a magic circle to the fourth floor appeared. Without wasting more time, Cade, Shihoon, and Jonathan entered the magic circle to the fourth floor.

It only took a second before they arrived on the fourth floor. When they started seeing the fourth floor, suddenly something fast was coming at them.

Instinctively, all three of them dodged the incoming things. That thing smashed into the wall behind them and they saw what was that.

They were shocked to see that it was an explorer. His body was soaked with blood and he looked lifeless. He died.

Cade, Shihoon, and Jonathan looked in front and there were many explorers around fighting something.

Many explosions were happening and it was chaos. Everyone wore a desperate face. Feared, sadness, anger, desperation and many more were shown on their face.

“HEAL!!!” someone screaming asking for healers to heal him. The guy that was screaming lost a hand and he held an axe with his other arm.

A healer girl immediately cast heal to heal the guy asking for her healing. She looked worn out. It looked like she had been using heals too much. Tears were flowing down on her face too. She was crying.

Around them, Cade, Shihoon, and Jonathan could see many corpses. Many dead explorers were lying lifelessly on the ground.

Most of them had their body smashed by something and their inside were splattered everywhere. The ground was soaked with their blood.

Many could not move anymore either they were dead tired or they lost their limbs or they lost their will to fight.

The trio did not know what was happening and they were shocked at the gruesome scene in front of them.

The fight against something was still happening and the trio cannot determine what they were fighting. They were also confused and shocked and they did not know what to think.

Suddenly, something appeared in front of the healer girl and the guy that was in the process of healing. It was a humanoid figure but looking at the appearance of that thing, the trio knew it was not human.

The humanoid monster had toad’s head, arm, and leg. It wore tattered clothes but it looked like clothes that humans normally wore. From the expression of the toad, the trio knew it was pissed, extremely pissed.

Its toad’s eyes were red and they could see it clenching its teeth. The toad’s arm was raised high like it wanted to slap the healer girl.

Both the guy in healing and the healer girl were stunned by the appearance of the toad. The healing girl's face went white but the guy with one arm moved its arm holding the axe and slashed at the toad.

The toad slapped the axe and the guy’s arm holding the axe were instantly broken. “Argh!!!” the guy screamed in pain but his scream was cut short when the toad stomped the guy.

The stomp made a small explosion and the guy’s body explode in pieces. His inside splattered around and some of them hit the healer girl.

The healer girl was paralyzed by the scene that was happening in front of her. Her mind blanked. She did not know what she should do. She was a healer and she did not have anything she could do to protect herself.

The toad raised its arm again and this time it wanted to kill the healer girl. The healer girl blankly staring at the toad.

The toad swung its arm. However, before its arm reached the healer girl, a dark-skinned man suddenly appeared fast and punched the toad with his glowing fist.

At the same time, the dark-skinned man appeared, “Picture come to life,” Shihoon held a picture of a pitch-black raven and summoned it.

A black raven appeared and it flew fast towards the healer girl. The toad blocked the punch from the dark-skinned man with its arm and was sent flying. The raven appeared by the healer girl's side and pulled it away from the toad.

The dark-skinned man ran toward the toad to continue fighting it. The raven with the healer girl in towed arrived at Cade and his party side.

The raven disappeared and Shihoon had already left Cade and Jonathan by themselves and joined the dark-skinned man to fight the toad.

Shihoon was acting fast as he knew something bad was happening and he instinctively acted on his own. Cade and Jonathan, on the other hand, were still dazed by what was happening.

However, they came to their senses when the raven left the healer girl with them. Jonathan took out a potion from his storage and fed the healer girl.

“Th-thank you,” said the healer girl. She healed some of her energy but fatigue and shock made her unable to move.

“What happens here?” asked Cade, wanting to know the situation. Jonathan had already erected his huge shield to protect them from unwanted attacks from the humanoid toad.

“I don’t know what happens but when I arrive on this floor, it already likes this. There were three of those humanoid toads and they were all strong. However, with our combined efforts, we managed to kill one of them,” said the healer girl and tears started flowing down her face.

“After the death of one of the humanoid toads, the other two suddenly got angry and they became much stronger and this massacre happened,” said the healer girl.

“And, what is this corpse?” asked Jonathan at all the corpses around them. To his knowledge, the new rules made it that anyone who died inside the dungeon will be revived outside the dungeon.

Before they are revived, their body will evaporate much like the monsters and they will appear outside the dungeon. However, the corpses there did not evaporate.

“Mister Raja said that if they were killed by the humanoid toad, they permanently died. He did not know why but it happened to his party,” said the healer girl. Cade and Jonathan were shocked to hear that.

“Then, why weren’t you all running away with the emergency badge?” asked Cade. It was obvious that the humanoid toad was strong and they should have run away from them with the badge.

“It is not working… We don’t know why but it is not working,” said the healer girl with a helpless face. Cade immediately took out his badge and tried using it and just like the healer girl said, it was not working.

While they were talking, suddenly a huge explosion happened in the direction where the many explorers fought one of the toads. Dust covered that area and Cade and Jonathan were unable to see what was happening inside that dust.

Suddenly, a figure came out of the dust and it was the humanoid toad. Jonathan and Cade’s face tensed while the healer girl started shivering. It looked like the explorers fighting that toad was defeated or killed.

Cade looked at the healer girl and said, “You should-” his speech stopped when he saw the teleporter to the third floor was gone. He wanted the healer girl to retreat to the third floor but that was not an option now.

“It looks like the humanoid toad is an anomaly in this dungeon,” said Cade as he prepared to fight the toad. ‘Can I survive this fight?’ thought Cade.

Escape was not an option. Even if he tried to escape deeper into the dungeon, with the speed of the humanoid toad he saw fighting Raja and Shihoon, it was impossible.

“It is coming!” shouted Jonathan. The toad bent its body and launched forward at high speed. Jonathan gritted his teeth and blocked the humanoid toad.

The humanoid toad slammed the blue bear shield with a strong attack but Jonathan was only pushed back a bit. Shocks can be seen on the toad’s face. “I can do this!” thought Jonathan.

He thought he would be unable to block much of the humanoid toad’s attack but it looked like that would not be a problem.

Cade did not want to waste the chance that Jonathan had created when he saw the shocked face of the humanoid toad, Cade moved his cardboard sword and slashed the humanoid toad.

However, to his surprise, the humanoid toad easily dodged that slash. “You damn monkey!” said the humanoid toad. Cade, Jonathan, and the healer girl were shocked to hear that.

“It can talk!!”

The humanoid toad slapped Jonathan’s shield and Jonathan’s face changed when he was pushed a meter back from the force of the slap. The earlier attack from the humanoid toad’s attack was not its full power.

Cade was shocked to see Jonathan was pushed by that seemingly simple slap. The earlier attack looked much stronger. He can block the earlier attack but that simple attack pushed him back a lot.

However, while his attention was on Jonathan, the humanoid toad launched another slap with its other arm towards Cade.

Cade’s immediately blocked the slap with his shield but to his horror, ‘Crack!’ and he was sent flying fast towards the wall of the dungeon.
