Cade suffered too much damage. He took out a potion and drank it while fighting the slimes.

It never once crossed his mind that he would use a potion while exploring the slime dungeon. Slime was well known to be a friendly and harmless monster.

He never thought that he would get injured inside the slime dungeon. However, he still bought some potions in case he needed it.

That decision was correct but he did not have much of them and he will finish all of the potions if he kept getting hit.

His situation was dire. If he knew he would end up in this situation, he would buy an emergency teleporter. With that teleporter, he can teleport outside the dungeon when he was in danger.

That item was quite expensive but it was really useful. It was a life-saving item.

The battle kept going, his body armor and cardboard round shield had suffered a lot of damage. It would break soon if he kept getting hit.

Although he suffered a lot of injuries, the slime also lost a lot of its comrade. Cade had killed 50% of them and soon, all of the slimes will die.

Upon watching their comrade had fallen one by one, some of the slimes started falling back. However, upon seeing them doing that, the boss slime ordered them to move forward.

Due to fear of their boss, the slimes bit their lips and moved forward. Looking at the massacre that Cade made, they knew they wouldn't last long.

If they fall back, their boss will kill them and if they move forward, Cade will kill them. They were in a dilemma. They feared both their boss and Cade.

Suddenly, a slime thought of something. In a crisis, its mind came with an idea. Its group was still further away from Cade and it will take a while before they reached him.

Sneakily, slime 1 whispered something to slime 2.

“Are we going to follow the Boss?” asked Slime 1. Slime 2 frowned when he heard that.

“What do you mean by that? He is our boss, we should follow his order,” said Slime 2. When he said that, there was a bit of hesitation in his voice and Slime 1 caught on that.

“You know, Boss is an asshole all this time. He never once treated us well and now he wants us to sacrifice our life to protect himself,” said Slime 1 seriously.

Slime 2 was still focusing on the fight that was happening but he still listened to what slime 1 was saying. He looked at Slime 1, “So? That is our duty as his subordinate,” said Slime 2.

“Do you see how strong that human is? He only needs to slash at our core once and we are out! I am still young and I don’t want to die yet,” said Slime 1 with a grim face.

“…” Slime 2 was silent. He stared at Slime 1 but he did not say anything.

“I also don’t want to die,” a sweet and soft voice appeared beside Slime 2. Slime 2 looked at the beautiful and cute Slime 3 that stood beside him.

“I don’t want you to die too,” said Slime 3 to Slime 2. Slime 2’s core shook. Slime 2 and Slime 3 had been dating for a while and seeing the scared face of Slime 3, his core felt heavy.

Slime 3 started thinking rationally. Thinking of the girl he loves died, he felt sad. He knew it in his core that they stood no chance in winning against that strong human.

He and Slime 3 did not want to die but there was nothing they could do. Slime 2 looked at Slime 1.

“You have any idea?” asked Slime 2 as he knew his friend must have thought of something.

“Let’s help that human,” said Slime 1 confidently but Slime 2 frowned again.

“I don’t think that a human can do anything. He might be strong but he still suffered a lot of injuries. He is at least at the same level as us while our boss is far stronger than us,” said Slime 2.

“Tch, tch, tch,” Slime 1 shook its body left and right.

“That human is weak but that weak looking sword he uses is on another level. Our boss is around level 11 but I felt like that sword had the power of around level 13… If we support that human properly, we might stand a chance of killing Boss,” said Slime 1 and he evilly smiled.

Slime 1 cannot wait to see his boss die. He hated his boss to the core since his boss once stole his girlfriend in the past. He held a huge grudge against his boss and that wench.

Slime 2 started thinking if it was the right thing to do.

Looking at Slime 2, Slime 3 lightly nudging Slime 2 body. Slime 2 looked at Slime 3 and he blushed. Slime 3 lovingly stared at Slime 2. She wanted Slime 2 to agree to Slime 1.

Slime 2 was defeated by that look and agreed to Slime 1 suggestion, “By the way, how sure are you that the sword is strong?” asked Slime 2.

“100% sure. I once met a level 13 slime and he emitted the same kind of strength that the sword was emitting,” said Slime 1 confidently.

“And I am pretty sure that the boss knew it too. He tried to make that human tired by using sheer numbers against him. He knew he stood no chance against that human’s sword,” Slime 1 continued.

“Spread the words,” said Slime 2 like a man. He showed his manly side to Slime 3 but Slime 3 only smiled while looking at her silly boyfriend.

Upon hearing the words, Slime 1 started telling others about their plan. Just like what he thought, they all did not want to die and they hated their boss.

They were thinking of defecting too but were too afraid to say anything. The words spread around the army of slime and slowly and steadily, more and more slime readied themselves to help Cade.

They still got the buff from their boss and they wanted to use that buff to pay back to their boss for treating them like shit.

The boss slime was unaware of what had happened to his army, he was concentrating on Cade. His mind was running wild and he prayed hard that his minions will finish Cade off.

However, he got more and more impatient as well as annoyed when Cade kept healing when he was on the verge of dying.

He was scared of the sword and did not want to risk his own life and thus he asked his minions to settle the fight.

Suddenly, he saw his minions stopped fighting. “Hmm? Why are they stopping?” Boss Slime wondered.

“You idiot!!! Why are you stopping? Keep attacking that human!!!” the Boss Slime screamed to the top of his fluid. He got mad that they stopped.

However, even with that screaming, none of them were moving. “Is this that human’s skill! Stopping the movement of my minions?” thought the Boss Slime.

But the slime’s boss remembered that Cade did not once use any skill during his explorations inside the dungeon. He only used his sword to kill the slimes. How can Cade suddenly have had the skill? Skill book? But the slime did not know any skill that can stop the movement.

“Is it a skill that has some kind of limit?” thought the Boss Slime. “But I cannot feel any magic coming out of that human?”

“Wait! He looks shocked too. Is it not his doing then? Could it be that there is someone else inside this dungeon right now?!!” The Boss Slime panicked.

If there was someone else nearby and that person can use this heavenly skill, he won’t stand a chance in winning. He might get one shot by that human.

Fear started to fill his core and he started to retreat slowly. He did not want to die.

Cade saw that the situation suddenly turned weird. The army of slime stopped attacking him and he saw that the slime’s boss’s face was filled with fear.

“Are they starting to feel fear towards me?” Cade wondered and then, he saw the boss slime sneakily trying to retreat. “Should I attack that boss?”

The Boss Slime turned the other way and started running away. Cade was shocked that the slime’s boss was running away.

Cade assumed that the boss did fear him but unfortunately that was not the case. The Boss Slime did not fear Cade, he feared the unknown ‘explorer’ nearby and the cardboard short sword that Cade wielded.

When the slime’s boss started running away, the army of slime suddenly moved and blocked his path. The slime’s boss’s face changed.

“That explorer can control their movement too!!!” The slime’s boss got more scared.

“Attack!!!” Slime 2 shouted.
