《The Death God》Ch. 12 Goblin Dungeon and Akuezhor

Being in the Village of Furtp for a few days, I can only say that it was peaceful and quiet. Maybe it is just the incident of the goblin invasion. It was quite a shock to them. They are now always going around with some kind of weapon that is ready to be at use at anywhere and anytime. The village was still busy repairing all the damage property, buildings, and the crops they farmed near the foot of the mountain. Still, why in the world were there so many goblins and an army of them at that. Deciding to investigate, I took out Eyeball Corpses and some undead goblins. I had to repair an undead goblin’s body because well you know, I sliced things apart. The best body condition I had was this undead goblin. It had a severed cut that came across its chest. I had to use ‘Negative Energy Healing,’ to heal the goblin’s chest. It has the ability to heal with Negative Energy. It is very effective for undead to use it when their bodies are damaged.
Using the Eyeball Corpses to use as surveillance and the goblin as a possible infiltrator, I send them outside the village so that they can do their job that has been ordered by me. Feeling the connection between my minions and I, I strolled around the village. When I pass by other villagers, they made a bow to me as if I was the King or maybe even God. Quite an unpleasant feeling really. With Nemaus snoozing off on my left shoulder once again, I looked for Alden, Mark, Kelsy, and Hudson. It has been several days since I last seen them. I wonder how they are doing. They didn’t even visit me once. Well, we just met a few days ago, so it is not like we are close friends huh. Giving up on finding them, I activated Flight. Lifting off the ground, the nearby bystanders were noticed my display of magic. Unfortunately, after seeing my massacre just the other day, they were no longer surprised even if I could fly.
Floating in the air, I looked around the village’s surroundings to see anything that could kill my boredom. My gaze stick onto the mountain. It might be nice if see what is over that mountain, no?
Directing myself to the mountain, I headed there.
“Papa, why are you always so busy?”
“I’m not busy.”
“But you always go somewhere and someplace everytime. I never seen you even really sleep at all. How could you not be tired?” Nemaus said as he stretched his body.
“I am an undead. I don’t need sleep.”
“Undead? How come?”Nemaus seemed like he really didn’t know of this. I thought he was intelligent, but it doesn’t change the fact that he didn’t even know I was an undead despite seeing my face.
“Because we are already dead. That means we don’t act like a normal living person who needs consumption of food and rest everyday.”
“zzzzzzzzzz.”Nemaus lost interest.
“.......”
I have finally arrived on the peak of the mountain. I had to cast a barrier around Nemaus because of the air pressure. Now taking a look at the other side, what I see on the other side of the mountain was exactly the same as the side I just came from. A huge green field. Only difference is? There were goblins and ogres. Not just that, but goblin shamans who are able to use magic. Simple magic like a mana bolt or the like. However. that isn’t exactly the problem. There were thousands of them. No, ten thousand would be barely enough to fit the total number of this population.

“What the fuck..?” Nemaus feeling my current emotions, opened his eyes and even this nonchalant kid was concerned. Anybody would feel the same. With this number, the morale the villagers would have to protect their homes would diminish to the lowest level. Though fortunately I am here. This is going to be definitely exhausting. Casting ‘Soul Sealing Barrier’ in a very large area around the army of goblins, my mana dropped by 7%. I think this should be enough to fill up the gauge in the Soul Orb. Next, I casted a certain spell that blocks out information from coming out of a certain area. So even if the villages over the other side of the mountain could hear explosions from magic attacks or screams, they would be able to hear it because of the covering spell.
“Life-Draining Tornado,”
The air begins to spin. The winds are picking up. The sounds of wind clashing against each other. The blue sky with white clouds everywhere, now changing to a dark sky with black clouds. The grass on the green field flaying wildly as the wind starts picking up and going further. The winds begin to shape and form a black tornado on the grassfield. Directing the pathway to the army, the tornado rotating and spinning slowly picks up speed and heads toward the goblins. The goblins weren’t stupid of course. They could feel it in their instinct that if they stick around for a bit, they would die no matter what.
With that kind of thought, the goblins, shamans, orcs begin to retreat to the opposite direction of the ominous tornado. Despite trying their best to get away, each one of them begin to lift up in the air. The orcs took a bit of time, but they were soon flying into the tornado. This ‘Life-Draining Tornado’ is as the name says, Drain life(health), but not only that. They pull enemies towards itself to continuously and slowly kill them. This magic is 7th rank magic. Favorite spell to farm mobs. The orcs sooner or later finally reached to the calamity. If they have not been so heavy and full of vitality, they would have died a quick death. The winds started to calm down and it continued to do so until the winds are once again calm and the sky is once again blue.
Numerous green auras flowed into the Soul Orb in an instant. Checking if I had taken in all of them, I checked the gauge. ‘98% huh.’ Just a few more and I could finally summon something. Just a few more. Seeing the green creatures splattered on the now red-field, I didn’t think of storing the bodies anymore. I got way too many already. Also, with all that splattered bodies and broken bodies. I doubt they would do much good at being my soldiers or work force. If I have to heal them, it won’t be an exaggeration if it would take forever to heal every single one to be able to be useful. ‘Negative Energy Healing’ is only a single target spell. However, what would I do with all these corpses? Should I burn them?
No ideas coming into my head, I changed my mind and stored all the bodies inside. With the number of about 12000 goblins inside, I thought I would no longer think of storing anymore. Anyways, here is the important question. Why was there an army? How did it get here? Not having enough information, I contact my Eyeball Corpses and ordered them to change the area of surveillance to this side of the mountain instead of the outer area of the village.

I can only wait. Nemaus who was watching the whole thing looked at me as if he was impressed.
‘Ya, be proud of your father. That’s right.’ I thought to myself. Turning on ‘Soul Sense’, I observed the surroundings. There doesn’t seem to be any more here. How did they get here? The question keeps echoing in my head. I can’t sense any living organism except for the villagers nearby. The 2nd farthest would be near the KIngdom of Pledia, which I just came from. Suspecting something, I took out a ‘Nearby Dungeon Locater’ and used it. The scroll burned up and something inserts something like a map in my head and red- marked certain location on it. If I assumed that red-marked location is the dungeon and the blue-marked location on the map is me… Then the location was right below me. The plains. Jumping off the mountain and activated Flight, I descended onto the fields.
Seeing a red-circle around a certain area in the plain fields, I went to it. Arriving there, I don’t see anything particularly suspicious. Except for a boulder. Going around it to see anything special about it, I concluded that there was absolutely nothing.
“Papa, how about moving the boulder or blow it up.” Nemaus said nonchalantly. Ai, I was going to do that. Don’t think that I am dumb. I really thought that. Really……
“Of course I was going to do it. I was just making sure.”-If Nemaus was able to lift an eyebrow, then that eyebrow would be really above the other one up high.
Deciding between moving and destroying it, I chose to destroy it. I don’t like lifting weights. Never fun. Casting ‘Nothingless’ I moved the black sphere towards the boulder and expanded it enough to erase the whole boulder. What was underneath the boulder was a staircase leading downstairs. Looking at Nemaus and he looking at me, we went descended upon the stairs. A blue screen popped in front of me.
Chaotic Goblins’ Dungeon - Rank C(?)
A dungeon that just recently created but the dungeon’s core is malfunctioning. This dungeon consisting of all, if not, mostly all goblins. Conquering this dungeon shall grant you suitable rewards regarding its rank.
I wondered if the dungeon is really the cause of the previous incidents and what is with ‘Chaotic’. There wasn’t even a Rank. Being concerned of this, I turned on my passive ‘Deathly Aura IV’, but setting it as it shall not harm Nemaus or affect him in anyway. I used various other spells to protect myself and Nemaus just to be cautious while I finally took the last step of the staircase, and onto the first floor.
You have arrived onto the 1st floor
Receiving the notification, I went on my way through the dungeon. Analyzing the dungeon, the walls are made from stone and weren’t far apart from each other. It distance between them should be around 10 feet wide. Whenever I reach the pathways where you have to decide which direction you need to go, I took out the undead goblins from the inventory that I have slain in the Village of Furtp, and sent them to either directions. While the undead goblins were exploring this dungeon in the form of a labyrinth, I am mapping out the dungeon in my head. Many of my minions activated a trap and that sent them to a pit fall. Some of my minions battled against their former kin. Of course my minions were stronger. They received some passive buffs by just being an undead minion belonging to me. One of my passive skills increase their power. When my undead minions killed their kin, they evaporated into yellow light and disappeared while dropping an item, such as a helmet and sword. If my minions were to pick it up, the items would transfer to my inventory. Though, many of the items that were dropped were useless to me. As for the others undead goblins, they are still exploring the dungeon.
It was taking some time, so I formulated some plans such as destroying the floors with ‘Nothingless’ so I can immediately descend onto the other floors, but I threw away that idea because I am not sure if there won’t be a floor there without me knowing and I will descend who knows where.
Taking a seat on the floor, I decided to take out some dried beef to feed Nemaus. He whined for dragon meat; however, I told him that I would only give it to him if he does something that would reward him with with it.
“Papa so mean.”
I continued to wait until I completed mapping out the first floor by the cooperation of my minions. After around 20 minutes, one of my goblins finally discovered the location where we can descend into the second floor.
‘Man. So long to find the entrance to the 2nd floor. Guess I should should just summon my army to deal with this shit.’
Taking out 300 undead ogres, bandits, goblins in total, I ordered them to conquer the damage while relaying information towards me. They went to the 2nd floor and scattered through the labyrinth dungeon.
‘This is the life~.’I thought. I get to chill while everyone works off their ass for me. Well, it is not like they have feelings to begin with. They are undead which I created. Their souls only objective is to obey and serve me until the day they are destroyed. I continued to relax, feeling my minions conquering each and every floor. The 2nd floor was conquered a bit longer than the first. The rewards were shit though. Just a an enchanted sword that is slightly better than a normal one.
The undead continued on until reaching the 5th floor. When they reached and entered it, my minions were slowly decreasing. From 300, 291, 276, 250,....... It kept on going until my last sent minion died and all my connections were gone.
‘?’
I got up and walked through the dungeon. Going to the correct path and directions, not so soon after, I reached to the entrance of the 5th floor. This was where my mini-army died. Summoning Eyeball Corpse, I commanded it to investigate what is going inside, plus adding another undead ogre as a combatant.
The 2 undead entered the 5th floor entrance and disappeared. The ogre died not so soon after died. I used Eyeball Corpse special ability which allows me to see what it sees. Just like Gaara in Naruto. I was only able to use it for a second, but I got the image of a being with a tall humanoid shape in a room with a blue orb on a pedestal. Lean body, sharp ears, and a dragon- like tail. I couldn’t make out the facial features because the humanoid noticed the invisible minion and slashed it with his tail.
Deciding quickly before my Eyeball Corpse gets killed I used ‘Analyze’. The tail hits my minion and died immediately after. You did your job well. Don’t worry, there are many replacements for you.
Checking out the information I have gained from that chance,
Akuezhor
He’s race is of that of a dragon and a demon. An offspring between demon and dragon. His father(demon) desire to make a brand new species. One of intelligence and cunningness and with the power of a dragon to back it up. Kidnapping a female baby dragon, he raised it up for many centuries and finally got the chance to impregnate it. Being born from between the 2 species, he was very intelligent from his demon half, and gained the power of darkness from his other dragon half. His father was eventually caught and executed by his kin.
Because of Akuezhor’s origin, both races didn’t accepted and persecuted him. Akuezhor desired a place where he could belong, but every one would fear him. His power of darkness could even match that of a extremely powerful darkness dragon. Because of his childhood, he longs for belonging, but there was nothing. Desiring to make one for himself, he plans to eradicate everything to make himself a home.
Passive: Steel-like Skin- skin as strong as steel despite having its elasticity.
Passive: Immense Speed and Strength
Skills: Power Augmentation, Darkness Manipulation, Trapping Specialist, Combat Perception, Illusion Manipulation, Martial Arts
Reading the for whatever reason, the brief summary of the Boss(?) and his abilities, I understood why my minions died and lost so easily. I decided to take out my strongest minion, the ‘Death Rabbit’ that I made from before. I didn’t change the other minions into a higher-tier of an undead because I am too lazy. Anyways, bringing out my Death Rabbit, I commanded it to battle against the demon/dragon guy.
My ‘Death Rabbit’ went inside and immediately attacked Akuezhor, which he too fought. The battle was actually quite one-sided. Death Rabbit swung its sword, blocked with its shield; however, Akuezhor always side-stepped the trajectory of the sword and swung his tail like an uppercut swing against my Death Rabbit. My DR quickly blocked the tail, but because of the immense power that was swung, my DR was lifted off the floor and smashed onto the wall.
The impact from it causes my DR to lose 70& of its health. Normally a living person or thing would have some rough time getting up from broken bones and organs, but my DR is an undead. Standing up like a badass main character in an anime, it again assaulted Akuezhor.
The next moment, DR lost all his health by a single swoop to the head from the Akuezhor’s straight punch.
“What the Fuck?” This guy is the strongest I have seen so far. From the description I read from his Analysis, he should be one of the most powerful figures in this world since he can match an extremely powerful dragon. However, he is still weaker than me…… by a lot. I felt my passive skill ‘Desperate Mind’ ,which increases my stats depending on the enemy, felt a small tingle. I can feel my stats increasing, but not by much. Shows the difference in ability. Closing my eyes I spoke to Nemaus,
“Nemaus, get ready. This person is formidable. He proves to be extremely strong. I don’t know if I can protect you if we get in there. If you want, you may stay on this floor.”
Waiting for a response, I felt the weight of Nemaus suddenly went missing. Opening my eyes, I see him entering the 5th floor.
“Mudda Fucker!!!” I ran for Nemaus while panicking.
