'Vert's music, It is an interesting thing. Spending time with Vert has shown me the beauty of music and all of its forms. His music can make someone happy, sad, angry, or excited. I have felt so many emotions in such a short amount of time I think I am becoming emotionally unstable.'
Emeralda lets out a small, sweet laugh as she thinks to herself while sitting beside Vert's rock. Vert is of course on the battle scarred rock, listening to music as usual and the song right now was "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi. It gives you a great feeling of being rebellious and makes you want you to do something illegal, something exhilarating. Vert is singing loudly to the music.
"I walk these streets. A loaded six-string on my back. I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back. I been everywhere, still, I'm standing tall! I've seen a million faces, and I've rocked them all!"
The final chorus begins and the song just ends abruptly. Emeralda, who was enjoying the music, quickly turns to Vert to see why he stopped. Vert is staring towards the ceiling, and his eyes are fixated on something unknown.
Vert can feel the presence of something and it is bothering him immensely. He can see a faint light coming from the darkness of his room, so he decides to investigate the object. Vert is in an all-out alert mode due to the fact he has seen every individual inch of this room but has never seen this glowing light before.
As he approaches the ground below the glowing object, it falls from the ceiling and into Vert's metallic gauntlets. It is a small light blue gem that has something inside. Vert easily cracks open the fragile gem and sees a small note inside.

"Congrats God of Death! You have complete an achievement and some knowledge will be returned to you. These will include your certain parts of your former knowledge of objects, people, actions, and feelings. - Council of Gods"
"Wait, what?"
A ball of light comes out of the opening of the small gem and inserts itself inside of Vert's skull. He becomes completely overwhelmed as sudden flashes of thoughts go through Vert's mind. He is so overwhelmed that he is put down onto one knee and he needs to place a hand on the ground to prop himself up. Vert can't explain what is going on as his mind is filled with new found knowledge.
'Love. Fear. Excitement. Sorrow. Language. These are all thoughts racing through me and I can actually register these feelings as being inside of me. How did this happen? What were the requirements to finish this achievement and what are the requirements for the others? I'll have to think about it later. First I have to deal with this softness on my face.'
Emeralda had seen what had happened to Vert and rushed over to him. As he was one hand and knee he started muttering things she couldn't understand while nearly crying and ripping at his hair. The only thing she thought she can do is try to comfort Vert by giving him a place to rest in case he passes out. Emeralda sits down and grabs Vert's head, forcing it down onto her lap and she begins to gently stroke his head.
He looks up at Emeralda as she continues to gently caress his head. She notices something though, he is blushing.
'Wait a second.'
Emeralda picked up Vert's face and she looks really closely. Her guess is that she has been here for about a month and she had never seen him blush once no matter what she tried. She has rather taken a kind liking to the Death God. He has protected Emeralda, fed her, showed her new things and even watched over her will she was sick for about a week.

On top of that, he has introduced Emeralda into the wonderful world of music. She decides to take this chance and go in and maybe thank Vert for what she has done. She closes her lips and tries to bring Vert into a kiss.
Hint on the word tries. Vert puts out his hand and nearly covers Emeralda's whole face. She lets out a defeated sigh as Emeralda knows not to push the matter further and she pulls her face away from Vert's hand.
"What were you trying to do?" Vert asks this with a tone of curiosity in his voice but his face says he is serious and wants an answer.
"I was trying too..... Um.... Make sure you didn't have a fever!" Emeralda says while laughing nervously in between words. She prays to Vert that he will believe it but what she doesn't know is that Vert doesn't really know much. He barely knows what a fever is or how to check for them, so Vert easily believes Emeralda.
"Well thank you, but I highly doubt I could be affected by such a weak symptom of disease. My immune system is unrivaled compared to your standards." Vert says with confidence. As Vert finishes his sentence, his mouth turns agape. Vert cannot believe the string of information that came out of his mouth. Just the fact that is wasn't related to music or killing someone is impressive in itself.
Vert gets up from his lying down position and looks around his room. Everything becomes more clear now, Vert can remember the number of insults thrown at him while he murder many generations of heroes and now he understands what they have said now.
One thing he doesn't know though is why they intended to kill Vert. Why all the heroes tried so hard just to kill someone stuck inside of a room. Vert sighs at this thought and shakes his head.
'Foolish people.' Vert thinks to himself.
Emeralda gets up and stands beside Vert, who is staring at the door, being the only way in and out of this room. Vert has a fierce determination in his eyes as he plans on what he should do next.
'An achievement gave me this knowledge and feelings, so that must mean there are more I can complete and gain more power with... But what are the situations to complete this achievement? Maybe it lies beyond this door...'
Vert walks up to the door he has been staring at and proceeds to size it up. Emeralda slightly tilts her due to confusion on what is doing but it will all come into view to her in a second. Vert pulls his fist back and puts all of his power into it. With a swift punch that cut through the air itself, an explosion of force hits the door and causes an ear shattering boom.

I Saved Worlds By Being... Nice?
Elena stumbled upon a game one day. It had positive reviews, and a lot of downloads, so she decided she'd play it. It's storyline was interesting too. Three worlds whose fates she could control. Three people whose lives she could make better. She played it diligently, dedicating all her free time to it. When the game finally ended, though... The three game characters she helped with great devotion stood in front of her. "I still remember the first time you gave me soup!" "I still remember the first time you gave me a cultivator's dead body!" "I still remember the first time you killed a knig- Oh wait, never mind, I was the one who did that." ....What? Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
