Getting out of the bad situation Vert was just in, he walks down the stairs to the first floor and into the living room. Vert sits down onto the couch and sighs as he does so.
'I wonder how she got that eye... I will have to teach her how to use it properly so nothing like that ever happens again. I'll probably also have to feed her too... What a pain.' Vert thinks to himself. Wanting to go to puts Tia's soul to use, Vert disappears from reality and goes into his Underworld.
Darkness surrounds Vert at first but the darkness quickly fades away into a large village. Vert looks at the houses the surround him as he does not remember this being her the last time he was here. Vert can spot a castle at the top of a hill and he goes towards it.
Arriving to his destination in under a second. A giant wooden door impedes Vert from going further and there are 2 guards standing in front of the door. The guards are surprised when Vert suddenly appears in front of and they both draw out their swords.
"Halt, who are you?!" one yells with a manly and gruff voice. Vert gives him an unimpressed look and waves his right hand towards the sky. Both of the guards begin to hover above the ground. They flail around in resistance but this is Vert's world and he can control it however he wants.
Vert pushes his left hand forward and the door in front of him opens with ease. Vert walks passed the two guards and as he does so they fall to the ground, confused and horrified. Once inside the castle, Vert can see a giant hall with two thrones at the end of it. Sekreath sits on the smaller one slightly to the right and Myria sits in a huge one in the middle.

Vert facepalms as he sees Myria with a smug face and he immediately knows this was all her doing. Myria laughs loudly when she notices who has intruded on her luxurious home.
"My, if it isn't the God of Death himself." Myria says in a formal tone.
"Cut the crap Myria, I'm here for one thing and one thing only. Where is Tia's soul?" Vert says with a loud yell so Myria can hear him since the room is so large. Myria smiles and puts her hand out. A bright green soul forms in front of it, it is brimming with raw power.
"I'll give it to you, under one condition." Myria says with a smug smile. Vert laughs as this is not a deal, this is Vert taking what it is.
"I don't think you can hold anything against me to make me come to an agreement." Vert says with confidence. Myria narrows her eyes.
"You won't even hear me out?" Myria asks.
"I'll hear you out but I can promise you no matter what that soul will be in my hands." Vert says with a slight hint of anger in his voice. Myria shakes her head at Vert's stubbornness.
"Well, I will give you the soul as long as you use it to summon a demon." Myria says with a smile on her face and vengeance in her voice. Vert raises an eyebrow in interest since that is what he was going to do with the soul to begin with, but he now wants to know why Myria cares about what he does with the soul.
"Why?"
"Because this little bitch caused me and the Army of Gods a huge headache and I want her to suffer. You don't know how happy I was when I found out you killed her. She needs to suffer in the Abyss for what she has done." Myria says while sending the soul towards Vert. Vert catches the soul in his hand and looks down at it.

"You don't know how happy I was as well. Is Hope dead then?" Vert asks.
"Not quite, there are a few gods and creatures that make Hope. I suggest you watch your back from now on. You've most likely made an enemy of both sides. The only people who will involve themselves with you now are The Kindred and The Wicked ones. You should join one of those groups." Myria says with her voice full of seriousness. Vert looks at Myria with a confused expression.
"Why are you giving me advice?" Vert asks.
"Because I like it here, and if you die we all die so you better win this tournament. Finish all of your achievements so all that you kill can live a third life." Myria says. Vert nods his head and smiles at both Sekreath and Myria.
"I will try my best." Vert says with a confident smile on his face. Vert's image disappears from within the kingdom and he is once again surround by darkness. Vert slowly pushes the soul away from him and it floats inside of the empty space. Vert takes his hand and slashes the air with his finger tips, making a star pattern into the space in front of him.
When the motion of making a star is finished, the star comes into view and it burns a bright blue hue of color. It goes towards the soul and completely engulfs the entire soul. The star turns a deep red and shines brightly for a few seconds.
The star goes from Vertical to Horizontal and checks on fire. The brown hair of something can be seen come out first, followed by its head and the rest of its body. The demon Vert has summoned is extremely pale and has a sinister grin on his face.
Once the demon is out of the star, the star disappears and the demon looks at itself to make sure it is actually awake and alive. It looks up at Vert and its blue eyes shine brightly when looking at its new master. The demon goes into a deep bow before Vert and tells Vert everything he needs to know about it.
"I am Astral the Tempest. My race is Shade and my class is Hybrid. It is nice to make your acquaintance, Master Vert."

Apollyon's Curse
Within the pages of folklore and fantasy, tales of people who chase after the dream of eternity, of living forever, rarely find a happy ending. They are either struck by the grim truth of reality, give up, and return to mortality or face a ghastly realization of their wishes. The latter often the worse fate, as they come to realize, only far too late, that what they sacrificed was worth far more than the time they gained. Ultimately, the common thread in these stories is that “immortality is as much a curse as it is a blessing”. People either realize it early and give up or are doomed to inevitably face its consequences. In the world Enrich lives in, that saying does hold merit. Every pathway towards eternal life has shackles of its own. They bring those high above down to the ground, evening the playing field. It is thanks to these fundamental laws that ambitious mortals are able to defy the heavens and achieve immortality themselves. The variety of methods result in each of these bindings varying in intensity and degree of freedom. Enrich’s path doesn't break this trend. Though, after what he did to himself, most wouldn’t even consider him a living thing anymore. On the day of his ascension, a world’s worth of souls were melted and recast. On that day, the human’s path had reached its conclusion, recast into Apollyon. An artifact, a weapon, is eternal, after all. As for the curse? The payment will be made, as it must. So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.
