"He.... killed it in one hit." Someone in the crowd surrounding the bloody mess of a Dire Bear says in disbelief. An injured man can be heard screaming in the distance as someone is tending to his wounds but that doesn't changed the amazed expressions everyone has. Vert can't tell why all of these people are so amazed or why he suddenly got followers, but what he does know is that his towel is starting to stick to his legs from the rain and it's rather annoying. Vert has also gained a new interest in Drakier's son.

"Hey you," Vert says to the young boy, "What's your name?"

"M-M-My name?" The boy says in surprise. "My name Caleb your holiness."

The boy is bowing after saying this. Vert wouldn't exactly put himself in the holy category but he won't stop people from calling him that. Knowing that the boy's name is Caleb and Vert will be able to find him easily to personally train him, Vert decides to leave.

"If anything else happens, come to my door. I have no healing powers so you will have to tend to the injured yourselves. I wish you all the best of luck." Vert says and he disappears from sight, going home to see if Cynthia is out of the bath yet. Mumbles go through the crowd as they all stand in the rain. Caleb gets up from the ground and picks up the sword he dropped. He grips the hilt tighter as he had to be saved from a God once again. At least this time someone close to him didn't die in the process.

Drakier hobbles over to his son and puts a hand on his shoulder. Caleb looks up his father with eyes full of tears as he remembers the day he lost his mother. Drakier moves his arm around Caleb and hugs him closely while rubbing his back. Drakier noticed that Caleb has an inner turmoil so he went to his son hoping to help and he was right to do so. Everyone else in the crowd went around, picking up small bits of meat that is left of the Dire Bear for food or they went and helped take care of the wounded.

The feeling in the atmosphere is slightly dim but hopeful. Anyone who witnessed Vert's power first hand now is a firm believer in him, one has already prayed to him. The rain shows no signs of stopping and with all of the meat of the Dire Bear being collected and distributed, the crowd of people disperses with people choosing what house they want to live in and the town hall is made into a makeshift hospital.

Vert opens the door to his house and walks inside. Going into the kitchen, Vert can see that the bathroom door is open but his clothes isn't where he left them. Vert looks side to side to look for his clothes and he eventually finds them. The only thing is they are hanging on the wall, drying from being clean. Vert walks up to his clothes and can see there is no blood residue on it anymore and it even smells sweet. It seems that the blood has stained the shirt into a permanent crimson red though, which Vert doesn't mind and he actually enjoys the new change in color.

Vert's gauntlets disappear and he puts on his newly washed clothes. They aren't dry but Vert can easily fix that by heating up his skin for a while. Vert puts on his grieves, summons his gauntlets, and finally puts the Magi's Articulium's on around his neck. With this, his outfit is complete and he feels comfortable being clothed once again.

Vert heats up his skin to a nice temperature and the clothes begin to dry quickly. Not wanting to stand around and wait for his clothes to dry, Vert walks out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. The sound of rain hitting the glass window of the wall draws Vert's attention and he looks outside. Out there, Vert can see Cynthia with her Scythe in hand and she is stand in front of a large tree trunk. She places a piece of wood onto the large trunk and raises her Scythe to the air.

Cleanly cutting the piece of wood in one clean swipe the woof falls over and Cynthia puts the split wood in a pile of more split wood. Vert shakes his head and walks out the door in the kitchen. He can feel the rain hit his face and then dissipate into steam. Vert walks over to Cynthia and yells out to her.

"What are you doing out here!" Vert yells so Cynthia can hear him over the rain. Cynthia turns around to Vert and gives him a concerned look.

"It is going to be winter soon! We need to get wood for the fire so we don't freeze to death!" Cynthia yells back. Vert shakes his head and takes the Scythe out of Cynthia's hand.

"You know you don't have to do everything right? I can take care of you, you know?" Vert says with a smile on his face.

"But... You're a God. You have like God things to take care of right?" Cynthia says with a cute tone.

"Haha. Not in particular, no. You are my Hero so I will take care of you. Besides, wood isn't good if it is wet and you have it sitting out here getting soaked. Just go inside, get dry and warm before you get sick and I will worry about firewood, ok?" Vert says with a gentle tone.

"Ok... Thank you, Niko." Cynthia says while walking away and slightly blushing. Vert watches Cynthia go inside to make sure she did what he said and then he looks at his Scythe. The souls of hundreds swirl around inside the dark weapon and Vert decides the now is the time to harvest them while he has the Scythe.
