'This place is better managed then I thought. Just walking through the hallways everyone and everything seems to be in its place, working efficiently. There are some people who seem out of place slightly and those are people called 'gnomes' and that's what that short lady must've been. I wonder how they train people to work so well and not get tired of it?'

Vert has been observing everything around him as Goreck leads him through the many rooms and hallways looking for Miya. They have walked through many workshops that are making items that Vert has never seen before. By the look of them, Vert is unable to tell what they do or why they would be needed in such amounts. It is like a small ring that is about 2 feet in diameter and it is made of metal, that is all Vert can tell at the moment.

The two have been walking for a while now and the size of this facility is fairly huge. Vert has yet to see a window which makes him assume that this place has insane defences or it is underground. Goreck opens one last door and the two walk into the room. In the middle of the room, 2 girls are sitting in chairs at a table, reading books. Vert looks around the rest of the room and can only see bookshelves which are full of many types of books. Figuring this might be a library of some sorts, Vert becomes more interested in the girls reading the books. Their movements look synchronized as they both turn their pages at the same time. Goreck walks closer and they both look up at the same time too. The only real difference in the two is the streak of black hair in one of them.

Goreck walks around the table and to the one with the dark streak in her hair, whispers something in her ear, and then points to Vert. She seems to have mixed feelings and the other girl and is staring at them with a slightly perplexed expression. The one with the dark streak in her hair, which Vert assumes is Miya, stands up and walks to the back of the room, opposite of Vert. She opens a door and pulls out a scythe a white Scythe and a blotch of darkness swirling inside of it. She cringes as she holds the Scythe and Vert becomes even more confused and starts to think about not joining this freaky group called Hope.

The woman is visibly in pain as she walks towards Vert and she stares him into the eyes as she gets about 5 feet away and stops.

"What are your powers and what do they do so I can return them. I need to know because I have so many powers in my Scythe that it is hard to differentiate between them all."

Vert's eyes squint slightly as something seems to be wrong here. You would think that you could remember taking someone's powers as you took them but Vert guess's that isn't the case. He tucks away his suspicion for now and begins to describe his abilities by name.

"Lightning Bolt, Lightning Skin-."

Vert stops after saying his second ability. He remembers his fight with Myria and how she had burned his body even though he has this passive ability, or how he was watching the fight while standing in a fire but he could feel the heat. He decides to think about it later since the white-haired girl seems to be having a heart attack in front of him.

Goreck runs over to the two and helps Miya stand up. She had fallen to the ground when Vert had started saying the name of his powers. The girl begins to scream horrendously and her Scythe is becoming more and more black by the second. Vert is confused by this and just stands there and looks at the girl like she has problems mentally.

The screaming continues for a few seconds and then a lightning bolt is shoot out into the room, catching one of the bookcases on fire. Vert just looks at it nonchalantly and says 'Huh' before thinking about what just happened. Goreck, who is touching the girl, screams in pain and looks down at his hands, which seem to be burnt. Goreck looks horrified but excited at the same time. Vert has never seen someone with such mixed emotions before. Vert looks at the girl and her clothes catch fire as her body lets of crackling noises. Vert lets out an emotionless 'wow' as the situation went from bad to worse. He really begins to churn over what just happened in his head.

'She asked for info about my powers, then when I mentioned them she used them. I assume she couldn't use them before so that must mean that she gets my powers when I talk about them. Maybe it's not on purpose that this happens.'

Vert looks at the three others in the room and completely realizes what is going on. It is a good thing he didn't start off with any of his main powers then everyone in the room would most likely be dead. The fire in the room is still raging on and the girl is still screaming and Goreck is still amazed and somehow the other is still reading her book like nothing is happening! Vert thinks about how much of a clusterfuck is going on here and decides to take the liberty onto himself to do something about it.

He walks towards the girl on fire and picks up her now black and white Scythe. It is actually surprisingly heavy for what Vert had expected but since seems to be where his powers are stored, he is going to release them. Vert takes the Scythe and breaks it in half over his knee. The shattering of metal echoes as the Scythe breaks like glass completely once snapped in half. Goreck stands there with a fac of pure terror and the girl who is on fire is now unconscious on the ground. The girl who is reading has also seemed to be knocked out. A voice echoes throughout the walls that makes everyone, except Vert, cover their ears in pain due to its sheer volume.

"What is going on down there!"

Goreck lands on his butt with a soft thud as he is expecting everyone's in the facilities impending doom. Vert stands there and looks at his hands. His gauntlets begin to form back out of thin air and he can feel his connection to the underworld begin to reform. Happy with these results, he feels he can help Hope now kill some Gods.

"So now that I got my powers back Goreck, what's my first task?"

Goreck says nothing as he stares at the door, waiting for something to come through it. Vert assumes they should probably take the two girls out of this room before it burns up completely but since no one is saying anything about it, then it should be fine right?
