Sekreath could feel warmth begin to fill his soul as he is ripped out of the scythe. Vert's hands were surprisingly warm and felt reassuring even though those hands had murdered him. He could feel himself be propelled into the ground and began to take shape. As he came out of the ground, he could see the person who remade him. This was, in fact, Vert and Sekreath saw Vert as his master. Something was off this time though, Vert was a lot taller than he remembered. Sekreath looked down at himself and let out a loud scream.
"YIP?!"
'Wait a second, did I just yip?!"
"Yip!"
Sekreath tried to speak again but to no avail. He was in the body of a fox looking creature. He looked back up at his master.
'What have you done to me?!'
Vert simply looked at the Kitsune, who was yelling at Vert telepathically, and he began to go through his mind where he went wrong. In his head, the most likely answer was that Sekreath would come back as a Doppelganger but for some reason, he came back as a Kitsune. Another thing was the fact he wasn't considered an undead even though Vert had used necromancy. Maybe Manifest would manifest the soul as a being related to how it acted before. He thought a little longer and it finally clicked, as if some magical force explained it to him.
'Ah, Doppelganger's been used already, curse that chest.'
A Kitsune wasn't exactly the weakest thing he could come back as but Vert wanted something Verocious and Kitsune's don't come to mind when thinking about this characteristic. He looked at the nine tailed fox and it was sparkling white with bright blue eyes. The fox formerly named Sekreath was still freaking out.
"YIP YIP YIP!"
He kept going on and on about how he would get Vert back for doing this to him, even though he wasn't allowed to harm his master/creator.
'Status Check.'

Vert looked at the stats of Sekreath with utter amazement. He kept some of his old abilities from his old life but also lost his ability to technically be a God. The thing that amazed Vert the most was his MNT, it was over 9000 times better than Vert's. He would find a way to fix this later for sure. The Kitsune had finally calmed down and was looking at Vert at this point.
'So you brought me back why exactly?'
'Because you'd be useful. Get used to it, it's your fault for fucking with me.'
The Kitsune let out a long sigh and his fox ears suddenly perked up into the air. Vert noticed this and decided to ask about it.
'What did you hear Sekreath?'
'I don't have to take orders from you-, I heard a scream on top of that hill over there.'
The Kitsune had tried to object Vert but was forced to answer. Vert looked at the way the Kitsune nodded towards and that was the hill Liafa and Emeralda was on. Vert hadn't heard anything but trusted the Kitsune's senses.
'Hopefully, he can't trick the system.'
'Don't worry, I don't think I can.'
Vert had forgotten that Sekreath could read his mind and just shook his head. He really didn't know if he could trust him or not. Vert teleported on the hill and was surprised to see a message pop into his head.
Your 'Ghoul' has been eliminated.
The message wasn't wrong as the Ghoul stood there with vines piercing its body at several angles. The vines were made by Liafa and she was crying with her head between her knees with sitting in the fetal position. Vert got closer and barely managed to dodge the vine that came for him.
"Hey, Liafa, what is wrong?"
Liafa snaps her head up and looks at Vert with glossy eyes. She begins crying even harder and runs towards Vert. She hugs him tightly as her head barely reached his abdomen. He puts a hand on her head and begins to rub it.
"You didn't answer me, what's wrong?"
"I-I-I... *sniff* Had a terrible nightmare that I was trying to... *sniff* kill you, and no matter how hard.... *sniff* I tried, I couldn't stop myself!"

"It wasn't a dream, it actually happened but it wasn't your fault. It was the God of Deception's fault."
"Technically it was her fault, she has such an infatuation for you that it made her easy to deceive. I don't understand why you love him so much, you barely know each other!"
Sekreath had appeared behind the two and apparently, he had poked around in her memories of the last ten years and saw that she had just met Vert not too long ago and she was still basically madly in love with him even if she might not show it.
"You don't understand.... I have known him longer than that, even if I never met him I could tell by his voice!"
Vert gave Liafa a confused look as he had no idea what she was talking about. He started to think back to how she would know him but nothing rang a bell. Maybe she was just imagining things. She was definitely imagining things.... Right?
"Wait what, when did you get the ability to talk, you were just yipping like seconds ago. Nevermind, that's not important right now, what is important is what I have planned."
Liafa looks up at Vert and gives him an excited look. She was expecting some epic adventure with fun, glory, and romance! Truly the ideal plan for a kid.
"What do you have planned?!"
******Several hours later********
"THIS IS BORING!!!!"
Liafa was complaining while Vert was busy ignoring her and staring at his scythe from a distance. Vert found out that the reason Liafa killed the Ghoul was that the Ghoul said it wanted to kill her to level up, also it was very scary in Liafa's childish eyes. Vert really thought that Liafa would be more mature since they were technically the same age, but guess not. As to what the plan was, Vert's plan was to make a city completely out of wood that would be made from Liafa's magic if she could and as the Goddess of Life, this was an easy task for her. Vert had accidentally made a house decay into nothingness after he touched it with his hands while in God Form 1 so he decided to do some "Necromancy" from a distance.
He wouldn't exactly call this 'Necromancy' as he was able to create creatures that weren't undead but he decided that his world's aspect of it and this world's aspect were different. While waiting for Liafa to finish, he figured out how souls work and how accurate his ability to tell what they would turn into before he used manifest. For every case except for Sekreath, he was able to predict the creature that would come out. He would then kill them and receive their soul again as he had no use for them at the moment. Emeralda was still asleep and was inside one of the houses Liafa had made. Liafa was also able to create furniture and even make cotton plants for cushions and clothes. She couldn't make the clothes though so that was something that Vert needed to figure out, how to deal with a semi naked draconic lady.
"I'm done! 10 houses, 1 inn, and a town hall just like you asked!"
Vert had noticed Liafa had come over and began to pat her on the head for the good job she had done. He was still shirtless and Liafa refused to look at him straight on. Vert just chuckled and shook his head at the bashful God. He asked her to make them exactly like the town once had and that's exactly what she did. To the last detail, she had made exact replicas. Vert had deactivated his God Form 1 and his scythe was gone now and Kaitla was nowhere to be seen. Sekreath followed him everywhere Vert went and Vert began to laugh immensely when he entered the town hall.
'What's so funny exactly?'
Sekreath asked this and Vert slowly turned to him with a smile on his face. A sign could be seen above the receptionist desk. Vert simply pointed to it.
"WELCOME TO M.A.A.D. CITY! CAPITAL OF THE NEW KINGDOM, MORTEM!"
