《I Am the "God of Death", Whatever That Means. (Original)》The Goddess of Life. Chapter 8 (Original)

After taking a nice long nap, Vert wakes up to find Emeralda still asleep. He gives her a kiss on the forehead and gets up. She stirs a little bit but doesn't wake. He goes to the door in his room. Vert puts his hand on it and tries to press it to open it. It doesn't budge no matter how hard he pushes.
'Now how am I supposed to do these achievements if I am stuck in this room?'
As if someone was reading his mind, the door opened itself. As it swung open Vert walked through it. He just shook his head since he couldn't figure out how that door works. He looks at the other doors and becomes curious. He goes up to the door beside him and it is covered in leaves and brush. He touches the door and all the leaves and brush withers away, probably since he was the God of Death. He pushes the door and it opens. Inside is what seems to be a small forest that is extremely overgrown.
"Oh, my I have a visitor!"
Vert hears the voice of a woman as he enters the room and he can't tell where it is from. He notices that every step he takes the grass below him dies. He didn't know he killed plant life since his room was basically a cave with no dirt just rocks. Vert is looking at the trail of dead grass behind him and then he hears the bushes in front of him begin to stir. Out from the bushes comes a little girl. She is smiling from ear to ear.
'She looks like a dryad but a child version. Wait, what exactly is a dryad?'
Vert just looks at the girl with a perplexed face and the girl begins to blush.

"No matter how hard you look at me my clothes won't just come off you pervert. You have to take them off manually."
"Nope, nope, nope fuck that."
Vert quickly tries to get away and as he goes to leave the room, he is met by Emeralda. She has a smile on her face but it isn't a friendly smile. Vert just facepalms and wonders how he got into this situation already.
"So you want to cheat on me huh, and with a child at the least! I thought you said you didn't like my child form! If we are going to be a couple-...."
Emeralda kept going on and on lecturing Vert while he just stood there and ignored her. He began to play "Tunnel Vision" by Kodak Black softly to where he could only hear it so he wouldn't go crazy. As he was just nodding his head to Emeralda, the small dryad from before jumped onto Vert's back.
"So who are you exactly!"
She sounded extremely enthusiastic. Vert could feel all of the feelings of happiness from before were escaping his body.
'Maybe it is this room. It feels as if all of this life just pisses me off.'
"My name is Vert, how about you?"
"My name is Liafa, The Goddess of Life!"
Vert wasn't surprised as he could tell from the hints in her room. Emeralda was still lecturing Vert but was talking about kids at this point.
"Does this lady ever stop nagging you?"
"This is the first time it has happened so let her be."
"But she is annoying me at this point, I'll stop her."
As Liafa said those words vines appeared around Emeralda and covered her mouth. Vert just shrugged it off since it was harmless but then Liafa fucked up. Liafa started to giggle as she ordered the vines to start to fondle Emeralda's breast. Vert just laughs slightly and becomes very angry.

"Die.'
As those words were said from the mouth of Vert the whole room full of life instantly decayed and shriveled up into dust. Liafa was shocked from the sudden destruction of her beloved plants. She let go of Vert's back and quickly backed away from him. Emeralda just looked at Vert in amazement.
"Who are you, Vert?!"
"No one special, just the God of Death."
Liafa eyes become huge and it looks like she is about to cry. She becomes very angry and screams high pitched. Before Vert could realize what she was doing, he was surrounded by vines. The vines held him down and sucked the power out of him.
'I can't move.... I can't do anything.... Is this the power of another god?'
The vines kept constricting Vert as he could feel his bones begin to be crushed. Vert begins to cough up blood as the power of Death is sucked right out of him. Emeralda begins to panic as it looks like Vert is going to be killed soon.
"To be killed by a little girl... Hahahahahaha, I don't think so."
Vert was quick to analyze that the vines were able to suck the Death out of him but if you look closely they were being deteriorated as they did so, it seemed that Liafa restored them faster than they can be deteriorated. Vert looks into Liafa's eyes with a cold stare and lets out an immense explosion of his power. Liafa tries to keep up with this power but Vert was much older than her so he had more power stored up. The vines lost their grip and Vert broke free and instantly teleported in front of Liafa. She was so surprised by his sudden appearance she screamed. He picked her up by her head and put his face in front of hers and she began to cry.
"Please don't kill me! I was just reborn and I don't want to die yet! I will do anything-!"
Liafa was interrupted by a sudden flick to her forehead.
"Bad, you don't try to kill or molest people just because you want to."
She looked at Vert with very sad eyes and realized she was getting lectured by someone who was supposed to kill her.
"But you're the God of Death, aren't you and I supposed to fight to the death?"
"Wouldn't that destroy the balance of the world? Without life, everyone would begin to die and the world would decay to nothingness, is that what you want?"
Liafa shook her head profusely side to side and Vert put her down.
"Now apologize to the lady you touched inappropriately!"
"I'm sorry annoying dragon lady..."
"Her name is Emeralda."
"..... I'm sorry Emeralda."
Vert gives a nod of approvement towards Liafa and she looks completely defeated. Emeralda just stood there in shock as the God of Death was treating the God of Life like he was her father.
