"Pump the Beat" by Brillz is the song that Vert decided to murder these people while listening to. It starts out slow and picks up the pace and intensity. The song begins the build up stage at 0:18 and Vert could feel power growing inside of him. A black ash begins to rain down and a black aura is around Vert. There is nothing inside of this aura, just Vert. Not even the ground is still there after Vert's extreme powers of death have touched it. The King begins to laugh.
"This is all the "God of Death" is? A little ash and some weird noises!"
The King begins to go on and on about how he has faced an actual god and won blah, blah, blah, but a demonic voice interrupts him. The song had reached the 1:09 mark and the music stops, but this was the bass drop.
"Pump the Beat."
Vert doesn't sound normal anymore. His voice is deeper and it seems to have layers. Every time he speaks a smaller and deeper voice is heard as well. As he says the words "Pump the Beat", the assault begins. He goes immediately and as the high pitch beats go by, a new punch is delivered. This time is different though. Vert uses his godly speed to not focus one person, but to randomly teleport behind a new person while in their blind spot to get the best sneak attacks.
The first punch is delivered to the guy in the back and he is sent flying back into the door. Vert knows this song very well and can fight to every exact beat. Without hesitation, he is behind the hero all the way to the right. He delivers a swift kick and his metal boot is stuck inside the woman's head. He pulls it out quickly and goes to the next hero, but is met by a fist to his side. He looked to see a woman who could keep up with him. The battle between those two continues as Vert is unable to outdo the woman in speed. That is until a certain set of beats are played at 1:18 where about 8 beats are played in 2 seconds. Since he attacks with the beats, this certain set of notes made him so fast that only after images of him after striking were seen.

The woman's body began to slide apart as 7 cuts across her went right through her flesh and bone. She guarded the first one but failed to guard the others one in the end. With there being 10 heroes left and one is incapacitated, the humans began to worry. The King was surprised that 2 heroes were killed in 9 seconds, and he decided it was time to join the fight. He casts a spell and all the heroes defences are insanely high now. Vert continues the fast-paced onslaught but is only denting the armor of the heroes. They begin to think of a plan while Vert is trying to attack them. Vert decides to stop for a second and the music begins building up again. The song is currently at 1:47 and Vert closes his eyes to focus on the song.
"Pump the Beat."
As those words rang out, the second attack started. This time, he focused on the King. They traded blows as Vert continued to attack with every beat and on the beat. At 2:13, the King got into Vert's blind spot, but then at 2:14, a different beat was heard and a flash of lightning was seen throughout the room. The lightning bolt struck the King, but Vert was met by a blow from a hero. Vert had become surrounded by the heroes who have activated a bubble that made him unable to leave. They began to land blow after blow on him and Vert was taking considerable damage. At 2:41, he decided enough was enough and to kill them all instead of torturing them. The aura around him intensified and the whole room began to decay. The life force was being sucked out of the heroes, but they had a healer so they didn't lose much. What they didn't know was that they were feeding Vert. The final bass drop was coming up and he had the power of all the 10 people who were alive in the room. He completely focused his power into his magic and began the final part of the show.

"Pump the Beat."
This would be the last time this sound was heard by the heroes, and their certain doom began. This time it wasn't said by Vert, but by the song, itself and Vert began to scream loudly. Lightning shot throughout all the room and struck 3 heroes who died instantly. Their blood boiled and their organs melted under the intense heat. The sinister beat continued to play and Vert began to do physical attacks while still sending out shocks of electricity. He teleported behind all of the heroes one by one and stabbed his sword into their spines. He was moving so fast they all had been stuck within 1 second. Their eyeballs popped out their heads and each body was sent flying due to the immense force hitting them in the back. The lightning was pulsating through the sword while Vert struck them and it was so hot, it melted their bones so the body that was sent flying was more like piles of jelly. The only ones left were the King and the unconscious one at the door.
"GOD DAMN YOU, JUST DIE SO OUR KINGDOM CAN LIVE!"
Vert ignored the King's pleas as he continued the ruthless attacks on him. The King's defence was very strong, but not strong enough. Each attack was full of lightning and merciless power. As the song ended, the King fell down on one knee and began to cough up blood. Vert walked up to the King and the King looked up at him. The King just closed his eyes and accepted his fate. Vert just swung his sword and the King's body slid apart. Vert had cut him right in half and even split the ground beneath him in half too. Vert released his aura and turned around to walk towards the unconscious hero at the door.
'The one that called my darling a whore huh, seems that he lived the longest out of all of them.'
Vert picks the man up and puts his hand in his throat and rips his head off. Vert can feel the room begin to spin as he has never used to much power before. He just chuckled a little bit because this was supposed to be the strongest people in the world and he barely used 50% of his full strength. He starts to walk back to his rock and looks at the black marks all over the room due to his lightning. He looks back to the rock where Emeralda had been and doesn't see him. All he sees is a black mark.......
'No fucking way.'
He teleports over there immediately and looks for signs of Emeralda, but she is just not here. He stands there for a moment while thinking about what he had just done. A pale blue light falls down before Vert and he grabs it. He opens it up slowly and is horrified at what he sees.
"Congrats God of Death! You have completed the Advanced Achievement only special to you! This achievement was 'Kill someone important to you'! The reward for this is a complete full use of your powers that involve 'Death'. - Council of Gods"

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. 8 131The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

Scamming an old friend at a game of cards? Robbing travelers? Committing... Well... Genocide? Perfectly reasonable means to become the greatest bounty hunter alive! Though, once Tenner broke out of his neighborhood - a prison isolated from the rest of the world - things didn't all go according to plan. He didn't expect that the world was a wasteland. He didn't expect creatures, hungry for juicy human flesh, to live in that wasteland. He certainly wasn't ready for Realms, massive sphere cities run by mysterious Workers, and their mad priests. On top of all that, the ghosts of his past wouldn't let go of him... This was going to be one hell of a journey. Updated twice a week Volume 1 is finished. Volume 2 is running.
