All right guys, here it comes. WARNING - MAJOR INFORMATION DUMP. I tried to make it interesting but couldn't really find a way. I promise to make the next time not as painful or as long. Sorry for this painful long chapter. I will release a chapter tomorrow. Think of it as an apology for this one.
After excitedly running around looking for books Ryu collapsed at a table and there were already pile of books on the table. As Ryu gazed at the Library he observed what the books in front of him were. The titles went, The 5 Continents of Eternia, Fun Facts About the Races, and Training Guide. Ryu decided to read the book about the continents first. He started reading.
The World we live in is name Eternia. This world has five continents. 4 of the continents are named by the 4 cardinal directions. The Northern Continent, The Southern Continent, The Eastern Continent, and The Western Continent. These 4 continents form around the Central Continent. Each Continent is dominated by a different race.
The Northern Continent is the birthplace of humanity. Humans are dominant on this continent and have established two different Empires. The first is the Imperial Empire and the second is the Zoltor Empire. The Imperial Empire is composed of the Nylor Kingdom and the Dryland Kingdom. (The Royal Family’s names are the same as the name of their respective kingdoms.) The Zoltor Empire is composed of the Molgor Kingdom and the Vane Kingdom.
The Imperial Empire believes in Human superiority and elitism. They believe in nobles right and power. They believe more in the power of Knights than the power of magic. The Imperial has an elite Knight legion. The Zoltor Empire believes in co-existence of all races. They are more open to interactions between other races. The Zoltor Empire also believes more in meritocracy than elitism. People are promoted to noble status based on their merits and abilities, not their ancestry or heritage. They are also more inclined towards magic than the Imperial Empire. They promote both magic and martial path of cultivation. The Zoltor has both an elite magus squad and an elite knight squad.
The Southern Continent is the homeland of the demi-humans and beastmen race. The beastmen have more animalistic features than human. For example the Lamia or Mermaids. The Demi-humans are more human-like. For example the Neko, cat eared people, or the Lycan’s, the wolf eared people. The Southern continent has only one empire. It is united under one of the Divine Beast, the Qilin family. It is said that the ancestor of the Qilin was the legendary magical beast, Qilin. His descendents rule the Southern Continent. They have horns/ antlers and a dark reddish mane and sometimes have a thin dragon like tail. The Qilin Empire consists of the Avian Alliance, the Beast Kingdom, the Dwarf Nation, and the Amphibious Nation. Each of the kingdoms consist of the respective types of demi-humans and beastmen. The demi-humans and the beastmen do not discriminate against each other.

The Eastern Continent is the home of the Dragons and Titans. They are ruled over by the Dragon Emperor and the Titan King. They have no kingdoms and each dragon or titan is free to go anywhere they want. Dragons love sleeping and playing more than anything. Although both dragons and titans enjoy a good spar, not many of the races are strong enough to do so. So most of the time, the dragons and titans compete with each other. One of the most “free-est” continents.
The Western Continent is the Home of the Fey, the magical races. The ruling body is the Fey Empire. The Fey Empire consists of the Demon Kingdom, The Elf Nation, and the Spriggan Territory. The high ranked devils are usually the ones in charge of the Fey Empire. They are the strongest of the Fey races and therefore view themselves as the protectors of the Fey races. The Demon Kingdom is bound with the Fey Empire. The Elf Nation population is mostly Elves and Fairies. The Elf Nation live in the great forests of the Western Continent. They distance themselves from politics. The Spriggan Territory is very loosely governed as Spriggans love freedom.
The Central Continent is home to the Magical beasts. They are ruled over by the Beast Emperor. One of the most united Continents. They do not hate any race and have expanded to be present almost in any Continent. They vary greatly and are present almost anywhere.
Ryu put down the book and started processing the information. Dragons, and demons, and demi-humans, and elves, and…….. His mind started wandering everywhere. He began to wonder when he would be able to tour all of the Continents. He was thinking which of the races are the most friendly.
Ryu (thinking): ‘ It said Dragons love playing, does that mean they will play with me if I go? How about Spriggans, they seem mysterious. Ooooh I wonder, can the Titans grow???’
As Ryu was thinking about all of these, his a book caught his eyes. It was the 2nd book in the pile. the one titled Fun Facts About the Races. It might have the answers to the questions that he had! He immediately picked up the book and began reading.
There are many races present in Eternia. The first race is humans. Humans are a race that is born weaker than most races. However as if balancing out this weakness, humans have higher potential than most of the races. Humans are one of the only races able to use almost all of the elements/attributes. Humans practice both martial arts and magic. Humans are also better than most races in enchanting, alchemy, and crafting.

The second race are the demi humans and beastmen. The avian species include all humanoids with wings and mostly bird demi humans. These avians almost always have wind affinity. They also mostly have lower potential than humans. Although there are always exceptions to the rules. The beast varieties include all humanoids of best descent. For example wolf, deer, rabbit, or snake. They have the highest potential of all the Demi-humans and Beastmen. They are stronger than most of the other beastmen. The amphibious varieties are mostly lazy and love to sleep most of the time. They are the most peaceful of the beastmen and demi-humans. The dwarves look like short and stubby humans. They grow to be average of 3.5 feet. They have the highest potential in crafting out of all the races. They also have the potential to become strong warriors as well.
The next race is the Fey. These are the most magically inclined out of all the races. The Elves consist of multiple varieties of elves like Nature, dark, Wood, and High elves. They are considered to be peace loving and nature loving. However, they make excellent mages and archers. Dark elves in particular are strong warriors/swordsmen. They are also some of the best healers of the races. The Fairies/Pixies are mischievous pranksters and unchangeable. They coexist with all of the humanoids and Fey races in peace. They are the most friendly and peaceful of all the races. Dragons and Demons are particularly fond of them. The Demons are the strongest of the Fey race. They consider themselves as the guardians of the other Fey races. They do not get along with Elves, with exception of dark elves. They adore the Fairies and will kill anyone who hurts them. They and the dragons became friends through the common friendship of the fairies. The Spriggans are the offspring of the wind and nature elementals. They are the closest beings to elementals. As such they love freedom.
The next race is Dragons. Dragons are the most powerful of all the races. They can grow to be on par with gods or deities. They also include lesser dragons like wyverns, drakes, and wyrms. Once dragons reach a certain level in strength, they can morph into human form.
The next race is Titans. Titans are said to be the descendents of a god and they have power on par with Dragons. They are peaceful and their original adult forms are around 30 feet tall. The Titan King is rumored to be 90 feet tall. It is known that Titans reach maturity at 20 years and at maturity they can reach 30 feet tall. It is said that Titans grow additional foot every 1,000 years. Titans can shrink to size of humans from birth, it is an inherent ability. Titans like competing and they like dragons because they can go all out when fighting them.
The next race is Magical Beasts. They are very strong and present on all continents. However the strongest beasts are found on the Central Continent. Magical Beasts are known to be able to morph into Human form when they grow powerful enough just like dragons. Most Magical Beasts are born with a lower intellect than humans. It is only by growing stronger that they become smarter. However, some exceptions do exist and some types of Magical Beasts are born with equal intellect as a human. It is also known that the Magical Beast Emperor is on par with the Dragon Emperor. They have a friendly relationship.
The final race is the Elementals. They are literally manifestations of the elements themselves. Their personalities depend on their element, and they are all free minded and they love wandering and lazing around. It is not known where their home continent is, but they are hard to find, elusive.
As Ryu kept his head stuck in the book, almost as if he was falling into it, Syra looked on in approval. He had rarely seen a child who acknowledged the importance of knowledge and took time and effort to read and understand a book. The few children he met that were like this, usually preferred stories like hero tales or princess stories. Ryu was indeed special, and Syra could tell that he would grow up to be an incredible figure. However, not even in his wildest dreams did he imagine that Ryu would become a Legend.

Road to the Crown
Political marriage, war taxes, subsidies, a tribute... All those terms sound nice when one juggles them from behind the screen of his trusty computer! Junk food? Check. Sugary drinks that will cause me diabetes? Check. Two weeks of leave from the work? Check. A fresh copy of the newly released game finishing downloading as I'm going back from the grocery store? Check. Oops! My emotions got better to me, and I tripped on the stairs. I'm so silly! Then... Why the hell am I kneeling in a throne room, watching the marriage and coronation ceremony of the King, dressed in the noble robes with the game itself only flashing in the corner of my eyes?
