=====Vol 2 Chap 9=====
“Wake up sleepyhead.”
“Mngh.. just five more minutes.” I groaned.
“No~pe.”
Without even giving me a few seconds, I was pulled off the bed, making me instantly wide awake.
“Tsk, and it was such a good dream..” I murmured.
“What happened?” He asked while sitting on the bed and I on the floor.
“We lived happily ever after.” I said, making him suddenly shudder.
“It sounds good.. but something tells me that your idea of happily ever after is different than mine.”
“You’re imagining it.” I said while waving my hands.
Finishing our normal ‘Good morning’, I stood up and went to take a quick shower in my ‘Pocket Dimension’.
We were using it wrong, since it isn’t an ‘Inventory’, it is a ‘Dimension’, so with that thought in mind, we were able to use it just like a sandbox, but we can’t take out something that already exists in that dimension, only our stored objects.
Thankfully, we were able to make a functional shower that uses mana, nevertheless, it works well.
Inside a not so big brick house, I designed it to be very comfortable, and if I felt like it, I can probably live in it and abandon the real world, but I don’t feel like so.
Anyhow, 20 minutes later, I left the dimension and returned back to the inn room, seeing Archillies who is staring at the ceiling.
“You didn’t shower?” I asked.
“No, I showered before I woke you up.” He said.
“I see.”
After I said that, he once again stared absentmindedly at the ceiling for a few seconds before taking a glance at the window and saying.
“Could you let me paint you?”
“Sure, but what’s that out of the blue?” I asked due to the sudden idea.
“Something that doesn’t allow me to forget you, I guess?”
“About that..” Remembering the Heart, I took out both sides and gave him the left half before wearing the right one.
“Now we are connected, am I wrong?” I said.
“Hmm.. I still want to do it, and I thought of the best place for it.”
Not having a reason to reject, I took his stretched out hand and then we teleported inside an unfamiliar part in the forest.
A well decorated chair stood in the middle of a small clearing, illuminated by sunlight and blocked by leaves in other parts, giving off a magical feeling as if it were a painting.
“What’s this?” I asked, even though I was guessing the answer.

“You’ll sit on it while wearing.. this.” He said so while taking out a sleeveless, long white dress with very little frills and not so much exposure.
Imagining myself wearing this while sitting on that chair.. makes me feel like an Elf Princess, even though I’m neither an elf nor a princess.
Sighing, I took the dress and wore it in my dimension, and it felt very comfortable to be in.
Going outside, I saw Archillies who has his canvas and painting equipment right next to him, but for one reason or another, he was intensely staring at me.
“Does it look that good?” I curiously asked.
“Absolutely.” He said so while nodding.
Sighing, I went towards the chair and sat on it before taking on a pose as Archillies asked for me.
“Perfect, now stay like that, please.” He pleaded, but I didn’t feel like rejecting it either way.
Staying still for a while that it even gave me two abilities called ‘Posing’ and ‘Statue’, it started becoming easier the longer I posed.
An hour passed with him still calmly sliding the brush and mixing a few colours here and there before finally saying in an exasperated tone.
“It’s done.. Ahahaha!”
Laughing hysterically while raising his chin up high, I shaked my head while standing up and walking towards him to see how good was his painting was.
.. Unbelievable… If I didn’t know that I was the person inside the picture, I would have had my heart struck by it.
“You.. I noticed that you had an unusually high ‘Painting’ level, and this was what you were preparing for?”
“Yes!” He exclaimed loudly.
While I was staring at the painting, he held his hand above it, making it shine a couple of times until he moves his hand away.
“Now I can rest easy that this masterpiece of mine will never be torn, dirtied nor stolen, hehehe.” He gave a sinister laugh.
Ignoring that, I started wondering what time it was.
“Hey, what time is it?” I asked.
“Hmm? Don’t know.” He replied in a carefree manner.
Sighing, I waited until he put the painting in his ‘Pocket Dimension’, but then before he took my hand to teleport his eyes widened.
“I haven’t named it!” He shouted in realisation.
“Then name it?” I said sarcastically.
“No, I can’t. Only you will.”
Clicking my tongue, I started pondering over it.
“I guess.. ‘Blessing In The Forest’?” I said with a tint of hesitation mixed in.
“Yeah, that’s better than what I could think of.” He nodded, satisfied with the name.

Taking his hand, we teleported back to the inn once again…
…
Having teleported back to the inn, we stepped outside the inn with no thoughts in mind.
“”Hmm”” We both grumbled while thinking.
Unable to find anything to do, I waited until Archillies finished thinking, but at the end, it seems like he couldn’t come up with something to do.
..Or so I thought, before he hit his palm in a fashion that is saying “I got it!”
“Let’s end it with the most generic romantic ending of all!” He exclaimed.
“One of us dies?” I asked, jokingly.
“No no, we will watch the sunset, and once it ends, I go.” He said while waving his hand.
“Actually, what time is it now?” I asked rhetorically, since we are outside the forest and the sun can be seen.
“Hmm.. It’s still a bit till evening, I guess?”
Seriously, isn’t he able to come up with any good ideas?
“Until then, let’s have a BBQ party!”
“We have no grill nor sauce.” I pointed out.
“Ugh.. Well uh.. Let’s just go to the beach and swim for a bit?”
“I’ve got no.. swimsuit..” I slowly said that as I realized his purpose.
“Hehehehe, ta dah!” He said, taking out a bag from his ‘Pocket Dimension’.
Inside of it was a deep blue, two piece bikini that seems to be exactly made for me.
Although I was frowning, I didn’t try to reject, since it is among the last hours which we will spend together.
“Looking forward to it.” He said with a mischievous smile.
“Yeah yeah, you better have prepared a good place.”
After going inside the inn once again and wearing the swimsuit under my clothes, I found Archillies loitering in the lobby, but I just approached him and asked.
“Ready?”
He nodded and took my hand, teleporting us to an unexpected place.
…
The first thought that came to my mind was.. A beach, except for the fact that, rather than being on the continent, it is on an island.
How did I know? Well, this island is no wider than 10 meters in radius with two generic trees in the middle.
“Do you like it?” He asked with anticipation in his voice.
“It is good, I guess.” I replied, albeit reluctantly.
Just after I said that, he quickly took off his clothes and jumped into the water.
He motioned me to hurry up, so I just took off my clothes as well and slowly walked in the water, which was surprisingly warm.
“Release the Kraken!” He shouted, then suddenly, I felt a huge presence coming from behind him, then tentacles started sprouting from the water.
2, 4, 8, and finally 12, then came a huge squid-like creature emerging in between the tentacles.
“Hahahaha!” He laughed like a mad man before getting himself shot out of the water like a cannonball towards the Kraken’s head.
Oh boy, this is going to be tiring..
..
Finally after defeating this monster who was somehow able to survive our attacks with one way or another, even though our power is not to be taken light of, we laid on the small island while breathing heavily.
Although it was able to survive our attacks, its speed wasn’t high enough to make us feel any danger, yet its blows had huge amounts of mass and power behind them.
“He..hehehe. It was fun, wasn’t it?”
“Oh shut up, don’t tell me you planned this all along.” I stared at his face.
“Ha-ha. Look, the sun is setting.” He quickly evaded my question and pointed towards the sun.
While I’m a bit angry of him, his choice of place for the sunset was good, so I’ll give him props for that.
Quietly, we both huddled together, with his head on my shoulder, as the air started to make us feel colder, but we still stared at the sun as it was going down.
Suddenly, I could feel water dripping onto me, so I look and notice that he is crying.
“I’ll miss you.” He said in a teary voice
Unable to hold back my own tears, they also started gushing out, making me embrace him.
“I’ll miss you too.”
Under the dying sunlight, we both stayed like such until the sun has finally set, then I let go.
“It’s time, huh.” I said.
“Mhm.. I’ll try to come back as quickly as I can.”
“Do your best.” I encouraged him.
Both of us stood up, and he teleported me to the inn once again, then he quickly donned himself in the clothes that he came to this world with; his school uniform.
“I’ll see you in a year or so.” He said.
I didn’t reply, instead, I gave him a kiss before saying “I’ll be waiting.”
Separating ourselves, I stood there, seeing as he was enveloped by darkness, disappearing from this world.
