Making up for yesterdays lack of chapter !

Our departure was quick directly walking back towards the ratman village without any second stop,the day was almost over really which was also why I wanted everyone to move a bit more faster even with the added prisoners it wasn't a problem for now.

-Hey...isn't it about time you told me what you are going to do with me ? I have a right to know you know ?

Wylniva whined,she had been captured by us since the beginning of the day dragged through one and another part of the forest and until then I had never asked her anything and only told her to shut her mouth really and nothing else.

Looking at her complaining my thoughts started to drift again.There was a reason why I had captured her initially it was because she had surrendered right away,but on a second thought this wasn't the only main reason of course.

She somehow knows that I am a "Monster Lord" she isn't just calling me that because she thinks I am someone deserving the title no,she recognized it through the mark on hobura's hand that she got to see a split second when it shined this topic in particular intrigued me intensely which is why I captured her in the first place,but looking at her now I am also sure that she doesn't seem to know anything definitive about my class in specific since she seems to have her own second doubts about it...

It is confusing really and I am not even sure what I want,but in the end there were also some things that I maybe forced to do since she knows about me...kill her that is.

I asked my voice was cold and detached making it clear that I wasn't in a mood to make any jokes,wylniva also understood that point and just sighed answering me.

She replied her answer surprised me and gave me a few things to think about until I stated my next question.

Just as I was about the ask wylniva suddenly stopped in her tracks,her lack of movement surprised me and also made me stop as I told everyone to hold on for a moment.

The girls were a bit displeased about wylniva's attitude,but didn't speak and just watched her like hawks ready to pounce.The aura wylniva was emitting was very bitter and annoyed she didn't face me this time and just kept her head straight her voice a bit cold and detached.

It was the third time she asked this particular question and each time I simply ignored her or asked another question and as I said I am not very sure of that as if now.

I lightly threatened my words came out spontaneously not even I thought they were the right thing to say,but for some reason I held a layer of doubt and distrust towards this person...no,its because she is a succubus is why I am not trusting her,I already had a very low impression of these guys which was aloof and arrogant even this woman in front of me showed signs of such mannerism it made me think that it was almost impossible to speak sense into them without angering them at the same time...my opinion maybe a bit biased,but up until now it was still true...

Hearing my words wylniva laughed dryly her tone was without a doubt mocking as she spoke to me.

-Is this a way of saying that if I don't talk I won't be useful anymore? And what if I don't have anything you need to know anymore ? Will you kill me ?

She obviously had enough time to think about all of this,but then again it begs the question.

-Why did you surrender ? why didn't you run you could have avoided all of this by running and I am sure that you know this too..

This was a point which made me distrust her the most...she intentionally surrendered to us comparing strengths she was obviously inferior to all of us,but she was still very close and could have definitely outrun us at the time,but no she stood where she was and waited for us to capture her...I am not this stupid.

My question seemed to have obviously broke a wheel inside her plan she didn't show it,but I could still see the small flinch quickly catching herself.

There was a very small moment of silence between us,my eyes were cold almost piercing daggers at this womans back hobura and the other girls saw my expression and got ready to draw their weapons for this.

I said small images pushing through my thoughts showing me the fight between me and rokuten,me crouching beside dakiro who was inside a cage and also the time I drank alcohol with vulgan.

Wyliva hearing my words snapped momentarily as she spoke with a angry tone.

-Actions...you speak actions,but how can I possibly proof myself if I am here bound by your ties threatened with blades behind my back your meaning of action conveys true trust maybe right,but right now you aren't even giving me this choice...

Her words and bitter tone hit me hard,what she was saying was also true,but at the same time I couldn't afford to have her run if I let her go,what if she calls her friends and tries to kill us all ?

Unknown Revenge...its something I feared right now,I didn't want to feel uneasy every night when I fell asleep thinking that the next day would me or the girls last day torturous really which is why I was heavily leaning on simply killing this woman and be done with it...

The issue bounced inside my head constantly hobura was already very displeased that the succubus was shouting at me and was about to back hand her from behind,but I couldn't allow that and stepped forward

I muttered hugging her from the side and holding her hand gently putting it down hobura was surprised,but she didn't act on it anymore since I was the one who told her not to do it as she calmed down.

Even though wylniva wasn't facing us at the moment she still seemed to be surprised at me action showing that her senses were far more developed and stronger then ordinary monsters.

I steeled myself once more stepping forward I came closer towards the succubus back touching her shoulder for a second I pulled her around and finally met with her face to face a bit surprised,looking at her now I could see why she didn't want to face me.

She had a very bitter and ugly frown,but that wasn't the only thing that was present...her original lovely eyes were now black as a abyss cracks were forming on her skin beside her eyes making her look more terrifying then lovely,I knew what this was the other succubus had also done this and turned into a hideous beast to elevate her strength.

She said a bit hateful and angered,but not at me it seemed.

The succubus didn't seem to have expect me to forcefully turn her around,the girls were instantly more cautious by the change of her looks expecting what might happen hoboku even pressed herself closer to me in any case.

From the way she was acting it seemed like she didn't like this look of hers,it is understandable since from what I could deduce every succubus or incubus should look remarkably handsome or beautiful turning into something so hideous must have given her some sort of complex about it,either way I didn't care.

Ratman,kobolds and lamia in some way or another they were all ugly or hideous,but thats just for the opinion of other races against each other and even then they all still had some lovable,unique characteristics and points,if I was a person who valued looks over everything then I wouldn't be with the girls to begin with or the kobolds or the ratman.I am together with them because they are useful and hardworking folks that I like lazy people are people who I despise the most who can't go and solve their own problems and ask help for others it is a opinion that I had since I got out of the orphanage and lived on my own hard work pays off at some point you just gotta be patient.

I ordered her,she replied by gritting her teeth and grinding it causing a very loud and obnoxious sound while turning her head towards me slowly.

Those black abysmal eyes once again met me,I wasn't scared to the least,I had honestly seen worse by now one of which was hobura's angry glare that could pierce a hole inside my heart comparing this to her is like comparing a kitten to a tiger for me even my own blizzard like eyes were much better then these void ones.

You know why ? Because you could literally feel what would happen to you if you really stare into my eyes when I am angry.

Wylniva wasn't crossing eyes with me,but she still spoke not giving in so easily.

-Since I was very little I indulged myself in reading books,books hold many tales and events that had happened many years ago these books are precious in their own way because they allow the user to see or even hear what had transpired a hundred years ago without even being present you can also travel to places not a single man had stepped their foot towards and see with your own eyes what the writer wanted to show you through their mind its a reason why I became a simple librarian even though I am of noble birth...

I snorted at her last sentence almost laughing even,wylniva didn't mind and just continued speaking to me her reasoning,even though she seemed a bit arrogant I could agree with the things she just said about books since I am a writer and heavy reader myself as of now though I do not have the luxury to properly read books out of amusement.

-Anyways I like what that is unknown and my goal is to read every book in existence without fail uncover every secret that was ever made and gain knowledge that can even surpass my ancestors...which is why I wanted to join you out of sheer interest and mystery that is..

She said proudly,but hearing her argument didn't move me all to much and don't misunderstand I never expected anything big like her suddenly falling in love with me or something I already have 12 girls I need to take care of I don't need more especially a succubus,I would have preferred if she just said that my strength impressed her not my status of a extinct species...

My words were cold meaning what they had just said staring at her icily which she returned evenly,almost losing her calm while staring into my blizzard like eyes.
