After a small walk we finally got to our beloved home everyone was excited and very happy to see the wooden wall even though it hadn't been a long time since we had gone they still missed their base.

While walking towards the base something strange could be seen in front of the entrance of our base...

There stood a single red wolf.

Looking at it from afar the appearance of the red wolf was bizarre not that I didn't see such a wolf before no actually I myself had 5 of the same wolfs,but the only difference was that they were...

-pups...

I muttered and as I did so my head started to go into over drive staring towards the wolf in disbelieve and in almost shocked manner I tried to link my transmission link towards it.

The wolf standing on the far side of the entrance suddenly reacted...my eyes got wide.

As I started to probe the wolf a bit more behind it came another 4 wolves that were the same size about 110 cms tall even from afar their appearance seemed very domineering almost frightful even with this many in a pack.

The female hobgoblins saw the wolves and felt momentarily threatened by them some even were holding onto their weapons while others seemed to have also realized who these wolves were.

One of the red...no crimson wolves started to run ahead of its pack specifically running towards us its loud bark could be heard while it ran at us in its top speed which was very fast...

-MAAAASTER !~~~

The wolf yelled and as it got closer the others realized the link they shared with the wolf and suddenly put a few things together as they stopped drawing their weapons and instead smiled at the beautiful crimson wolf making its way towards us.

I also smiled ear to ear seeing the big wolf come at me like this wasn't frightening to the least and as it finally made its way to me the wolf jumped and got onto the ground...I was weak my strength didn't amount to much thats why getting pushed down hurt a bit,but it wasn't really painful instead it started tickling again as I felt the wet tongue of the crimson wolf lick all over my face...

The others didn't interrupt and just watched with smiling faces I also tried to get up by myself my face was wet all over from this guys tongue or more precise girl.

-You really grew ruby...

I said with a tone of astonishment while looking into the eyes of the wolf that was in front of me...it still wasn't as big as its mother was,but it would some day come to it the growth spurt was ludicrous really it had been only a few days since she was a little pup fitting inside my embrace or between my legs even able to balance herself on my head,but now...she was big...really big.

Behind her followed the other 4 wolves they looked at me with a very loving glint in their eyes it was too dream like to be true,but in the end it was real...what happened ?!

I started wondering the female hobgoblins were evenly very astound making me think that this was actually something abnormal...

I felt suspicious and quickly summoned the status window and clicked the "contracts" tab to look through everyones status windows specific searching for rubies and her siblings status windows.

After I finally found it the result was quiet astounding...last time I had checked their species was a ,but now that I am seeing it again it had changed drastically their species and their attributes had over gone a drastic change even tripling from their original value which wasn't much,but still a lot in my opinion.

These guys without me knowing had evolved into a they didn't even gain any experience,but they still evolved...this was too mysterious.

My own thinking had us all stuck in front of the base for about 10 minutes only until hoboku reminded me where we were standing I got a hold on myself and quickly ran back towards the base getting greeted by hawk and other girls.

When we came back I immediately questioned the wolves and asked them how they were able to evolve...of course they didn't seem to understand the term I used which was evolving so I tried to explain it to them in more easier way which eventual understood and explained that they themselves didn't really understand either and said after eating the fruit that grew on the strange tree they started to get very sleepy and when they woke up again they became big...

I froze for a moment hearing their explanation I looked at the rosy star fruit tree for a moment it was still very fresh and there were a few fruits hanging on it on the ground I could see a few more fruits half eaten the overflowing juice causing the grass on the ground to overgrow the bite marks were without a doubt the once the little pups had previously...

The way they had evolved was very surprising I already knew that items could also affect ones evolution,but I didn't know which item was supposed to do what these divine quality items may be another to this answer thinking like this I collected the few remains of the fruits and fed them towards the slimes I was very curious of the result and knew from previous experience that the slimes evolve after eating a certain kind of herb I didn't experiment since then because I didn't really think it would be all too useful I was also busy with different concerning the current situation,but now it was different.

When the slime ate the remains of the rosy star fruit at first nothing really strange happened I believed that it may take some time for them to evolve,but just as I was thinking about that the slimes suddenly shined brightly !

I had fed 4 slimes the remains of the rosy star fruit and 4 of them immediately started to shine up their body texture was turning from green to a glistering milky white stunningly they were also forming something like a hat on top of them it looked like a mini crown,but I wasn't sure really.

After the slimes finished their evolution process I eagerly opened the status window and looked at what they had become...

The result was to be honest very surprising the slimes were actually able to learn a spell from the category in this though it didn't look like spell more like a natural skill since it didn't list the element as a skill above ,the spell itself was a very useful spell even without anything else the spell was worth a lot of value having my very own instant healers was good since I didn't need to go to glasses girls place to heal anyone in urgent need anymore.

Having personal healers now,I thought of making a new slime squad a healer group in specific after the girls come back they could get healed by the slimes to make the minor injuries go away it was a pretty good idea which also led me into feeding another 6 slimes the rosy star fruits making them into ,Of course I had tested the healing spell to see it legitimacy basically I cut myself...

-Lord SORRON !

Someone yelled the shout was very surprising and made my heart beat for a bit as I looked to my left and saw hobura appear out of nowhere...

She was looking at me intensely particularly at me cut finger which stung,but didn't really hurt all too much.

-Your bleeding !

She said with a glint of horror flashing through her eyes she quickly walked towards me and grabbed onto my bleeding finger seeing her worried like this made me comical I also shook my hand away from her grip a bit rude for me,but I wanted to show her why I was doing this.

Using my transmission link I ordered the slime to heal my wound it quickly came forward and shone a bright color and as it did so my small wound started to heal itself instantly the stinging pain was gone replaced by a feeling of relieve.

Hobura seeing this was very surprised she now looked at the slime in a more different way then before since she could imagine for herself how useful these guys would be in the future.

Seeing hobura pop out of nowhere I felt puzzled right now everyone was inside the bath cleaning themselves I wasn't going to participate since I still felt slightly awkward being in the limelight in front of everyone on top of that I didn't even notice hobura nor did I see her...

Hobura also saw my questionable look and smiled at me awkwardly seeing her like this I asked her what she was doing in which she answered.

-I was watching lord sorron since you weren't going to come inside the bath I didn't go either instead I watched lord sorron to spend some time and when I saw you bleed so suddenly I ran forward to see what was going on...

I narrowed my eyes for a bit hearing her explanation was kinda disturbing on top of that the way she was saying it sounded as it was the normal thing to do in which I asked her another question.

-How long do you stay watching me ?

Hearing my tone hobura made a small guilty expression very cute,but I wasn't caught on it just yet as she answered..

-Until you move away or I get busy...

So basically she stands there for hours maybe just watching me tinker with something doesn't she get bored ?

Suddenly a very cold shiver ran down my spine as I started thinking about her words...I knew that she often would watch me from afar and at first it was a bit disturbed by it,but got used to it later on I didn't notice her all too much so I thought that she got bored and did something else,but I never even imagined that her small obsession would turn into something like this...if anyone in my normal world...no,even in this world if someone ordinary would have heard what she just said they would immediately think of her as a extreme weirdo..

I sighed...maybe it is really my fault,but at the same time I also knew that hobura was the utmost protective about me out of all the girls she shows a lot of acts of objection when I try to do something dangerous even if its small she doesn't want to me to go she also likes a lot of skin contact too...she has more of a obsession then I thought she had when I think about it now...

I am not even sure what to say to this...

Feeling helpless I simply accepted this fate hobura would grow out of this someday I just need to endure for a bit she would understand I was sure of it..right ?

I patted hobura's head while thinking like this hobura smiled and purred when she felt my hand on top of her head hugging onto my waist while getting spoiled by me...

Anyways I quickly told her to go to the bathroom and start bathing with the others if she doesn't clean herself first she wouldn't get her meal which shocked hobura a lot and quickly got her moving towards the bath seeing her run so frantically made me laugh as I looked around the base for a bit more...it was really empty the walls also didn't look all too sturdy...maybe I should start constructing.
