I said urgently connecting towards the group of slimes that had encountered the human army,it was still dark outside,but the night vision made it possible to look into the dark without a problem and with that I could also see the amount of people walking by heavy footsteps shaking the ground and humans with armor and spears walking through the forest their march was devastating so to say...

I groaned a bit seeing the amount of people inside the forest was worrisome it was so big that I couldn't even count them all this also made me understand why the lizardmen suddenly came into my direction...they seemed to be scared off and ran away they were just unlucky to have met up with me ending up with their doom.I couldn't blame them this amount of troops would scare anyone off,I am glad they aren't walking towards where we were,but into a different direction the distance of this army was far a bit more farther then the kobold village and the distance grew every second.

I ordered the slimes while still keeping an eye on the human army that was going through the forest,their goal was obvious they wanted to take the artifact,the map at least which is located in the orc village from what they assume,but little do they know that the artifact was already snatched by me finding it now is impossible since its inside my storage and the tomb is also desroyed..

Thinking of it like this I wasn't sure what they would do after realizing that they couldn't get the artifact...give up ? It was very hard to imagine that a power like this would come all the way here to just come back empty handed maybe they are going to start digging the tomb that could really be a possibility,but I already knew that it would be a waste of time so if they don't find it what then ? Do they even know what it is ?

No,thinking about it won't help me I need to wait and see staring at those soldiers walking by isn't useful I should rather start thinking what to do if they start approaching us,or if they somehow figure out that it was me who took the artifact the egg to be precise...

I broke the contact between the scouting slimes and me and stood up from my position we were all slightly tired and resting seemed to be a good choice for now.

While glasses girl was thinking about the newly acquired information they had I asked blondie about their current food supply and other necessities they had,the question was sudden,but blondie seemed to be very clear about those things and explained to me about their situation,it had been only a day since I escorted them back to the base and since then all of the females had woken up and as predicted some weren't really right on their mind while others suffered from extreme fear against males glasses girl and blondie were nursing those people trying to help them,but neither of them are therapists or know what to do in this kind of situation currently there were 6 girls that refused to go out of the cave while the rest seemed to be "stable" to a certain degree....they still don't really trust any guys in their group and often just ignore them or give them an evil stare glasses girl has already established her own rank in this group as their leader by planning out a lot of things and also assigning roles in their group right now everyone is just trying to fit in properly and make their lives a bit more easier blondie and louise are making sure that everyone is doing what they are supposed to do they also take guard duty most of the days which is why blondie was so hard to wake up.

They still aren't going into the forest to get meat,but for now they don't need to do that since they had the extra 10 slimes that I had send them to gather fruits and vegetables their supply of food was satisfactory and wouldn't leave them malnourished.

Other then that blondie had been teaching a few of the girls fencing the girls in that group knew of the status window and half of them were all combat classes while the other half seemed to be crafting classes which I envied a bit not gonna lie,but at the same time I was a bit delighted since it meant that we could actually start doing some kind of exchange if they nurture those crafting classes bit more.
