In a fit of anger glasses girl walked away shaking up a bit,she was decently good she was able to stare into me without looking away,but still got scared in the end which wasn't good,but she would learn.

Satisfied I returned towards my soup and just added a few more ingredients into it to thicken the soup after that I let it cooking for a while and turned towards the Hoboku,Hobura and Hobusaku who had already finished setting up the meat and preparing the carcess moderately which I judged good since they had fully emptied the insides and cut off the head cleanly there was a bit of blood still inside of the animals,but that wasn't a problem so I didn't mention it and just started to make the roast...

-Lord Sorron if I may ask you...what did you talk with the human girl? it nerves me since she dared to rise her voice against you,thats why I am worried...

Hoboku suddenly asked standing by my side...actually Hobura and Hobusaku were also standing behind me just observing trying to learn how I was giving the meat some spice,but they were also feeling the same nodding towards Hoboku's question eager to hear what I say...the question was out of nowhere and honestly I wasn't even sure what to answer them...my goal was actually pretty dumb if you think about it...I didn't want to deal with humans anymore...no,I didn't have anything against them its just that I feel like that having non-humans beside me is much more calming and peaceful to me and having both non-humans and humans mix together in my group could turn catastrophic both sides not being to understand each other getting into a struggle was something I didn't want to see that so because of that I decided to have glasses girl take this job as the leader of the human group in this forest,you can say that I am pushing responsibilities to her,but I wasn't really doing that this wasn't even my responsibility in the first place because I could always just let them die and be done with it...yes...the reason I decided to do this was mostly because I pitied them...it felt bad to do nothing even thought you can do something right in front of your eyes ignoring the tragedy in front of you can not only hurt the person it can also hurt you being emotional in such moments isn't good,but I never cared did I ?

-It wasn't anything important really I just told her about the situation she was in you probably realize that right ?

I said turning the meat above the fire to let the flames spread out equally roasting the meat...hoboku in the meantime thought of my words and came to the conclusion only a few seconds knowing that the amount of injured people here was something like a burden not only physically,bit mentally too.

-my lord do you...do you seek to help them ?

She asked not really sure if she should ask such question,but I answered without batting an eye to it.

-Not really,but I will do what I can to support them at least...I still want them to be our allies I have hope that they can get back to their feet so have faith in me...its not like this will harm me...if that ever happens i have you guys here to protect me right ?

I said with a smile on my face looking at those 3...hearing me say this and put faith in them made them quiet happy hoboku even hugged me from the front not being able to take it anymore she even took a whiff from me...

The other 2 caught on that hoboku was getting a head start and felt envious that she took the moment...anyways I let hoboku have a small hug and ended it with that since she was starting to get excited ,I needed her to be focused right now fooling around could be done later.

With that out of the way the 3 girls continued to watch me prepare the roast they took note of how I spread the spice onto the meat and when to turn it over above the fire I noticed that their cooking skill had also level up to LvL.2 which was pretty.

I quickly finished with the roast soon afterwards and let female hob-goblins start eating they were starved for a bit and couldn't wait for the food,night had already covered the sky as the female hobgoblins sat on the logs and started eating merrily.

-Lord sorron...aren't you going to eat with us ?

One of the female hobgoblins noticed that I was walking away and immediately called on it which was surprising since i wanted to sneak away and let them eat in peace...

Showing a awkward smile I replied to the girl...now girls as everyone else noticed that i was leaving they didn't seem to like that and were slightly disappointed.

-Don't worry I need to check on the soup give it to the injured you just continue eating you deserve it since you worked hard for it...

The one who asked me this question was hobuhiko,hobusaku's partner so to say since these 2 were the first to become agility type goblins they had most of the time teamed up with each other and still do sometimes,but now train individual since they had become very strong.Hobuhiko had grown big too she was almost the same as Hobusaku in appearance looking like a cool beauty,but her nature was slightly different as she was one of the most curious in this group who would question a lot of things,she could be clingy sometimes too,but wasn't that bad with it as she knew when to stop or know when she was a bother,but there were also times in where I would notice that she would observe me from the distance her gaze was always glazed or dreamy sometimes too.

Hearing me say this Hobuhiko immediately responded raising her piece of meat she quickly stood up and said.

-Let me help too ! its no fun eating if your not here !

She said expectingly showing me her puppy eyes even thought she was holding a frighting big piece of meat in her right hand,for some reason it didn't ruin the illusion...how skillful.

I thought getting a small laugh out of me thinking of how sweet she was as I nodded towards her telling her that she could come with me,but first she had to finish her meal i didn't want her too starve just because she would help me,listening to my words Hobuhiko quickly ate her piece of meat in a frightening speed and even got a second one stuffing it inside her mouth chewing furiously...seeing this display I was slightly worried about her and hoped that she wouldn't get her food through the wrong throat and just waited for her to finish which didn't take long..

-Wait lord sorron I want to come too !

-Me too

-It isn't fair if only hobuhiko gets to come !

The girls complained asking to come with me the point was thought I didn't really need that many and I was actually more keen on letting half of them stay guard this night instead of care taking,thinking like this I quickly sorted the issue and only took half of the people while having the other half finish eating leisurely for them to guard the night the decision was fast and the once who ended coming with me were the more happier once while the one's who couldn't come sighed a bit disappointed...why do I feel bad all of a sudden they should be glad that they don't need to watch the injured all night...

I thought quickly leading 6 of the caretakers towards the injured I also stored the pot of thick soup into my storage so we didn't have us force to move that amount...it was sometimes weird how this storage ability worked since I couldn't store anything liquid I could only store it if I put it inside something like the pot...I had no clue what happens inside the storage space,but i knew from my understand from it that things don't ever rot inside the space...the time of an items seems to just stop inside the inventory which was convenient on its own and pretty mind boggling since such was pretty unimaginable I could literally carry something 1000 times bigger then even more maybe,honestly I didn't want to think about this any further because it was just too overwhelming to me having things make sense were prospects that I always liked about life having to looking into something that I don't understand is always a pain in the ass since I never get answer to it anyways...

I sighed as we walked towards the injured human area looking at them they were still shaking and shifting in pain some moaning while others twitching pretty disturbing...on the walk i noticed glasses girl,blondie and the other 4 sitting around the gary guy who seemed to be in the worst state right now since he had lost a lot of blood still not waking up one,bit...his skin looked awfully pale which was bad getting him to eat something wouldn't probably work until he wakes up...on the topic glasses girl and I met eyes momentarily she seemed to have calmed down and was embarrassed to looking at me any further she had already shown me a lot about herself that you wouldn't show a normal even a friend after a year obviously you would feel ashamed which I didn't mind.

Concerning the other 5 they did look at me a bit amazed and astound,but didn't want to talk to me or get close since the female hobgoblins were following behind me..they were scarred of them pretty simple even blondie was somewhat perplexed,but she wan't scared she could feel everyone through the bond she was after all also a member of this circle unofficially so to speak,even the female hobgoblins didn't look at her with that much hostility more like in a neutral ground just meeting small eye contact and thats it blondie also probably understood what that meant,but didn't say anything.

Getting to the place I quickly set up the pot once again in the center of this place...the boiling hot-pot appeared out of nowhere releasing the pleasant steam which traveled on the side I also started summoning the wooden bowls and preparing to fill them up giving them to the female hobgoblins to distribute them to the injured and blondies group.

Seeing this blondies group was quiet amazed since I had summoned something out of nowhere they did multiple times look at me when I was cooking and making the roast drooling they were probably a bit starved seeing me prepare handmade food,but didn't dare to approach since the female hobgoblins were in place scaring them off so they endured staying at their place without a word I also didn't call them to eat since the meat was only for the female hobgoblins and the soup was for the injured,but also for them so it was inevitably surprising for them when some female hobgoblins came over and started offering them some bowls of thick soup they were not sure how to reply at first,but glasses girl took it without shame taking a small glance towards me a bit thankful...the other followed suit and took a bowl too since glasses girl was taking one their hands were shaking when they accepted it was because they were so close to the female hobgoblins...its not that they were scared because of their appearance no that would never be the case since the female hobgoblins literally looked like top beauties even with their skins so dark their hair so different and eyes so red it didn't make them weird or ugly no,those were the features that made even more beautiful and unique on their own...the reason they were scared was because they saw what these girls were capable of doing something so fast and merciless must have given them quiet the impression which I didn't want to fix...since i knew that they could be pretty cute when left alone.

After distributing the bowls to the group they also started to feed the injured the ones who were awake at first most of them couldn't feed themselves because of the pain so the female hobgoblins fed them instead caressing them very gently like I instructed them and making sure they wouldn't gag on the food...thats the whole reason why I made it a thick soup of course..

With that finally done everyone got to work and started feeding the injured as for me I looked at the pot momentarily and noticed that it wasn't even halfway empty...seeing this I realized that I had made the soup to the fit the size of the female hobgoblins they were really gluttons sometimes and making such amount was normal for me,but not in this case...damn I should have thought about that...

I grumbled staring into the pot again...its not a big deal I thought getting my bowl I put in some more soup I was also starved and wanted to eat,but as i was about to do that I looked towards the blondies group...they were silent not really talking and just eating the soup a bit teary in their eyes one of them was even putting it inside of his mouth so fast that he was burning himself...

Seeing this I felt that they really weren't that close to each other not even trying to talk just having this awkward stand still was something I couldn't imagine with my own group since everyone had something to talk about no matter how small it was there was always something someone wanted to say.

-This is idiotic...

I thought getting a pretty bad idea into my head,but still executing as I touched the pot behind me storing it into the storage and holding my bowl moving towards blondies group my eyes were narrowed and my head was telling me that it wasn't a good idea that I should stop right now and turn around...too thought.

No one really noticed my approach everyone was too preoccupied with the bowl that they were holding in their hands,but when I sat right next to them they quickly noticed me and were surprised by my sudden appearance stopping to eat for a moment staring at me as if I was some extinct animal...which I was not...maybe i am a monster lord after all there could be some truth in that.

-So how is the soup ?

I asked nonchalant taking a spoonful of it into my mouth...man i want salt !
