Glasses girl and i continued to interact a bit more for about 10 minutes where i finished explaining her some things,she thanked me and with that i ended the transmission call and looked back towards the river i also noticed that i had a few notifications showing me that most of the female goblins had leveled up and reached the requirement to evolve,whilei was looking at the notification boxes i wondered if anyone was going to be a normal hob-goblin or a variant sub-species because right now hoboku,hobusaku and hobuhiko all 3 of them were a different sub-species specialized in something specific ,i assumed the emblem had something to do with it so i didn't try to think further of it as i watched the faint stream of water going down the river...yeah i need to find more containers to fill up so i can transport more water...

I started thinking about the current problem in hand which was our water supply that would always go dry the next day we needed much more water and transporting it wasn't a problem with my unique skill meaning i needed to "A" make a water system that would flow to our location or "B" i needed to make a lot of containers and get water that way and just resupply every week or so...either of the options weren't really attractive to me because "A" could potential become dangerous for other animals or people to discover us following the stream i also thought about making tubes and make the water stream underneath but i quickly dismissed that thought because right now such technology wasn't available to me meaning i had only option "B" left which was kinda annoying but safe at the same time either way for now i didn't have alternatives.

With that thought i quickly opened my infinity storage and took out a gourd which i made into a bottle if i collect a lot of gourds now and make them into a bottle's i should be able to get a lot of water and transport it to my place but the time to actually make the bottle was maybe 20-30 minutes per bottle meaning we would need to come tomorrow and finish this.

I called up some of the free slimes and ordered them to find as many gourds as they could in total i had 10 slimes that were free the rest of the them were scouting the perimeter to warn us if anything would happen and for the time being nothing really happened so now all i needed to do was wait or i could just return home but that would be a useless wouldn't it ?

-Hoboku let's go farther into the forest maybe we can encounter some beasts that we can catch for food i also want to see if we can find anything

Hoboku nodded and started leading the way i also took out the map that i got from the rogue and started looking inspecting it trying to see where we were going.

I took a small breath as we were walking through the thick vegetation of the forest it was a bit hot but not too much on the other hand hoboku who was walking in front of me looked very erotic,because she didn't wear anything under the black robe which also absorbed the warmth faster.I could see her robe melding with her figure showing me every curve of her body which also shook from the front coming from her breasts i thought of making a bra for her but in the end it seemed a bit too embarrassing to do so i just dismissed that thought and tried to avoid looking at her too long.

Hoboku suddenly stopped she drew her dagger and ducked for a bit i followed suit and asked what as the problem.

-Lord sorron...someone is walking behind those bushes...there are 5 of them but it seems like they didn't notice us yet..

I was alarmed and gulped for a second this encounter wasn't our first one since we started going into the forest deeper but at the same time it was an encounter with more than 2 animals.We had been walking around this forest for 20 minutes i had already figured out the map so i was confident we wouldn't get lost i also made small marks onto the trees to remind us the way back but now...should we retreat ? Retreating didn't sound so bad we already had a lot of prey in my storage and fighting this was actually unneccessery...i was thinking like this until i could hear the sound of a screech coming from where the 5 beasts were and as i heard it,it started to translate into my brain...

-Awuu Grognar are we there yet kwich

Asked one annoyed fellow.

-yes, we are close and Senjin and stop asking me we will arrive in a short while kwuk

The other 3 also started to complain and grumble in their weird language which was only made out of screeches...i shook my head for a second their sound me cringe which was uncomfortable...who were they ? It seemed like they were somewhat intelligent to be able to make such conversations up until now not many creatures were able to communicate so well most of the animals that we met here just refused to talk or just spoke one word and nothing else even the little crimson wolfs were a bit strange sometimes because they also used one word as a sentence and in other times they would be able to speak normally...

I don't know why but this interested me a lot they were heading somewhere and i wanted to know where.

-Hoboku lets start tailing them

Hoboku nodded a bit excited i was also interested but i took caution and let a few slimes take the lead using them as a camera to see who they were.

The slimes understood my orders and started to move forwards towards the bushes some where circling the path to look at another angle while others were climbing up trees to look at them from a birds eye view and when one of them finally was able to get close enough i linked it to my sense's and i was a bit astound to be honest when i saw them.

-Orcs...

Yes,they were orcs the reason i thought so was because of their grotesque face which resembled that of a pig,they were short and fat but i could also see bulging muscles coming from their large arms they were even much more better equipped then us holding halberds and swords with scale or plate armor even the one who was standing in the front wore some really ominous purple robe holding a willow staff in his hand,i couldn't quite see his face because of his hood but the rest of the troops seemed to be bored lazy and more importantly their guard was low...

I sighed for a second... still they have much better equipment then us and also had the numbers advantage,of course i had the 25 slimes with me right now but the orc who was leading them was obviously a mage meaning that he could just use one spell and kill most of the slimes at once...

Maybe following them isn't such a good idea after all....

As i was thinking about it the orc who was behind the orc mage suddenly spoke.

-Grognar why do we have to go there isn't this useless the human forces will arrive after 7 days and nights we should be honing our forces and defeat those filthy humans kwik !

-Why do you think we are doing this senjin kwuk !

The orc mage snapped stopping on his tracks he turned around towards the orc and said.

-We won't be able to defeat them with our forces senjin thats why we are going to the ruins and take the ancient artifact to at least stand chance you are far too arrogant to believe we will be able to defeat them with our current strength the humans are far more capable and wiser then us beings that were summoned from the dark their forces are more numerous and powerful to begin with meaning we won't stand a chance in a 1 on 1 confrontation against them kwuk

The orc mage shouted in anger but the orc just snorted in disdain and asked the orc mage.

-This artifact you are talking about grognar will it really help us ? How do we know it really exists and how do we know we aren't walking onto certain death ! kwik

The other orcs also agreed with the orc called "senjin" but the orc mage was unfazed as he answered them pulling out a paper scroll he had stored in his robe i could see a mocking slime form on his face as he declared.

-This scroll was taken from the human adventurers which we raided a few days ago those adventurers were obviously searching for the thing that was described in this scroll and it also showed the location of the place where the artifact lies this is also the reason why the humans want to exterminate us,they want to kill us and take this scroll and take the artifact that is located on this scroll kwuk

The other orcs seemed a bit awed by the explanation but the orc called "senjin" wasn't impressed and asked another question.

-How do we know it can even help us what if its not even a weapon but something useless ?

As he finished saying that i could see some red form in the eyes of the orc mage as he hit the orc soldier on the head with his fist as he declared.

-We have no other choice and thinking about it won't help us either even if it isn't of any use it is valuable to the humans to the point of being able to barter with it for our lives so stop complaining and do what i say or you can be the first of us to go senjin...kwuk

With that said the orc mage once again turned around and started leading the way the orc who was holding his head shook it for a second grumbling something he picked up his halberd and started following suit like the other orcs...

A artifact and the humans are coming after a week ? This was huge and it was a really valuable piece of information...but what was more important was...the scroll that old orc mage had...it could lead to something very big.

But what should i do ?
