It took the slime only 20 minutes to completely dissolve and devour the 3 goblins becoming a really big slime.Blondy was also really surprised by the slimes size she felt a bit conflicted when she figured out that the goblins are dead but she didn’t try to question it further knowing that it was a right thing to do even if you pity them.

I made the slime split and in the end there were a total of 9 newly made basic slimes available this was all like a chess game for me these slimes were my troops and the opposing side were the goblins.Now that i had new troops i ordered 2 slimes to go near the entrance and start luring some of the goblins out i made another 3 slimes scout our vicinity so we wouldn’t get ambushed i order the 4 other slimes to stay with blondy and start digging a second hole.Even blongy got an upgrade in her weaponry getting a club instead of a branch the goblins only wore disgusting loin cloths nothing much for armor.

Blondy was a bit overwhelmed 9 other slimes appeared she even got a bit confused and called out for her “chum” but she couldn’t find him if i told her all of these slimes were her “chum” she would probably over heat and only get in the way but over all she didn’t do anything yet even thought she should be the main vanguard not hide behind little slimes.

The area we were in was really quiet for a while since 3 goblins were devoured nothing seemed to have happened to make the goblins in the cave to go in a uproar i even saw some goblins pass by the cave entrance they didn’t even look for their dead companions how can they be that carefree ?

Other then that there were only 2 guards standing on the entrance which instantly followed an enemy on sight without reporting it to their leader even if the opponent was a slime this is just too easy.

I sighed and stopped my thoughts they aren’t going to live that long either way because i am going to siege this base now.

My plan was simple lure the goblins with a group of 2 to 4 and make them fall into the traps that were behind the bushes i don’t know how many of them there are but from what i am expecting it will be a total of 30 to 40 goblins if by any chance more then 6 goblins come out of the cave or the hob-goblin appears blondy will jump in and try to stall them for a bit while i try to order the slimes to defeat the goblins with precise orders so far i learned that slimes can follow my precise orders such as use their tentacles to make a whip it won’t kill them but it will make them stay away and i can also drag them away into the holes to make them stuck and out of battle.But if it turns out that more then 10 goblins come out and overwhelm my troops then we will start to retreat the traps are also here to obstruct them from following us i can also use that opportunity to take them down one by one while on the run the slimes don’t exhaust or have any stamina so i could make them walk through the night until they get too tired to make any more move the other beasts in the forest are also another point that i can use they generally seem to ignore the slimes for some reason but who said they won’t ignore the goblins ?

I thought this through in some point but the only problem i have is blondy if we really start to retreat then she may become a burden to she may as well have higher stamina then the goblins but at some point she will also run out i could make the slimes carry blondy but their speed is already too lacking we would get caught like that….

Time was limited in another 2 or 3 hours or so the sun would go down and at that moment blondy most likely won’t survive its either kill all of the goblins and take over the cave or die doing so or die by the fangs of the beast in the night….neither option was good but who said anyone had a choice to begin with ?

And as planned the 2 slimes that approached the entrance started taunting some of the goblins in the cave and leading them into a ambush it would always be 2 or 4 goblins at a time or even 1 at a instance some of the goblins also wouldn’t fall into the holes but at every round at least 1 would fall into it the rest would just get overwhelmed by 6 other slimes that would suffocate them so far so good we were already at our fifth round it had been 40 minutes since we started and blondy was for right now still not needed she would sometimes start gagging seeing the slimes start devouring the goblins the slimes would only devour the meat and other organs which if i have to be honest wasn’t a pretty sight the end result when a slime finishes its meal is that only bones would remain i wondered why they wouldn’t eat those bones but at the same time the bones could be very well useful to me so i was a bit happy.because the slimes were eating a corpse at the same time the time it took to fully devour a corpse was only 4 to 6 minutes i had now a total of 39 slimes available 3 slimes were killed because the goblins were swirling in their gel luckily for them broke the nuclear of a slime by accident it was not a huge loss but it was a regrettable.

-HUUUURHHH!

A loud roar could be heard from the cave the inside of the cave was bustling and murmuring and sure enough a person came out of the cave with green skin and a statue of a teenager…the hob-goblin he had a rusty long sword in his hand he wore leather armor like last time but without boots behind him stood another 10 goblins they all were equipped with little clubs and some cloth to cover their body some even wore helmets and even shields or held daggers fuhh this was more unexpected then i thought.

The leader the hob-goblin stood at the cave entrance and looked around the slimes were all behind the bushes nowhere to be seen because of their small statue they were well hidden some were even in the holes waiting for their next prey i noticed that slimes are quick learners they started understanding what the holes were for and waited there for their next meal.blondy stood behind a tree also out of sight she was shivering a bit and she almost threw up couple times but swallowed her food down regardless knowing well that food was important for right now.

-COME OUT YOU SWINE !

The hob-goblin roared the other goblins started advancing to each side with their weapons drawn they were walking with a group of 3 each making it a total of 3 groups one group with 4 members i assume the hob-goblin arranged this i needed to be careful this battle was something where i can’t let my guard down when it comes to numbers i able to overwhelm them but what i am worried about is their leader i know the capabilities of a goblin but not a hob-goblin…

I closed my eyes for a second and shifted my perspective above from the tress i made one of the slimes go up a tree for better vision with this i could have a better control of the battlefield the hob-goblin wasn’t moving from his position he was looking around vigilante of his surroundings the other 3 groups were going left right and forward in 3 different directions looking for us the second group who were going forward were about to meet with my main troops…this was really fishy why is the leader standing there ? i needed to be careful but at the same time were about to discovered so i commanded.

-NOW

And as i said suddenly green tentacles came out of the bushes wrapping the 3 goblins who were standing on the front they cried out in shock and as fast as the tentacles were out so were the 3 goblins dragged into the holes.

The leader was surprised but that quickly changed when he raised his sword and said.

-ATTACK !

The leader roared and to my surprise another 12 goblins came out of the cave charging into the bushes the other 2 groups that were scouting the left and right side also started to advance to the front side but to their unfortunate attempt to charge their legs got wrapped around tentacles ! Thats right i stationed another 2 groups to each side to flank them originally but this also works they were dragged into the other bushes and suffocated after some seconds.

In the meantime the leader also started to advance forward with the other 12 goblins long sword in hand he was fast and cleaved with his sword through the bushes killing 6 other slimes in a instant !

-FUCK

I cursed under my breath i didn’t think a hob-goblin would be this strong.

Anyways because the leader already started to advance it was blondys turn.

I already told her the plan if the hob-goblin exceeds the line of where the bushes are then she has to make him busy until the other slimes are able to deal with the other goblins i couldn’t really ask her to kill him outright because she didn’t have the guts to do so but she agreed to make as much as damage as possible which was at least something.

-HEY YOU UGLY TWERB LOOK AT ME !

Blondy shouted the other goblins were a bit busy with the slimes that were starting to flanking them from the right and left side i needed to stall the hob-goblin to finish the other goblins and overwhelm him.

-HURH IT WAS YOU WOMAN ! I WILL FUCK YOU UNTIL YOU CAN’T STAND !

Blondy couldn’t understand what the hob-goblin was telling her but she seemed to have figured out what he was saying mentally and shrieked for a second hiding her breast in fear the hob-goblin using that chance started charging at her !

-You idiot do something !

I shouted at her knowing very well that she can’t hear me but as of she had heard me she snapped out of her fear and took a stance her club was made out of wood so she couldn’t really let it hit his sword if she didn’t want it to get sliced in 2.

And as she took her stance the hob-goblin was already in front of her he slashed his sword from the left side with his right hand blondy ducked her head and jumped to her left side barely missing the sword slash.because her back was on a tree the sword got stuck on the tree the hob-goblin tried to pull the sword out and in the mean time blondy activated her light sword skill that increases her damage output by 120% percent the club in her hand shined with light particles she took a step forward and roared her battle cry hitting her club to his back which made the hob-goblin roar in pain blood was gushing out of his mouth.I gotta admit the blondy has some moves .From the pain and through his anger he pulled his long sword from the tree in the process breaking the tree in 2 he turned to blondy who was a bit speechless.

-I CHANGED MY MIND WOMAN I WILL HELP YOU TO MEET YOUR MAKER !

And once again blondy shrieked from fear i could see her slowly starting to shiver from the fear the hob-goblin took a bizarre stance his hand where he held his sword showed orange tiny particles…HE HAD A SWORD SKILL…?!

Blondy quickly realized her danger and activated her light shield which also started to materialize in front of her she started making steps backwards to prevent herself from getting in his hit range but what she didn’t expect was that the skill wasn’t a close combat skill………it was a ranged skill..

-GO TO HELL !

A gust appeared in his hand and so he swung his sword with a cleave a orange wind materialized flying in high speed and directly at blondy the shape of the slash was crescent she couldn’t dodge it but she wasn’t hurt either the shield blocked the attack but knocked her back making her stumble on the ground giving her some minor injuries and bruises or two but over all she was fine.

The attack wasn’t quite finished yet and continued to travel directly to the battlefield where the slimes and goblins were fighting i ordered the slimes to get down and as ordered they did 3 of the goblins were killed by the slash getting beheaded the rest of the slimes were unharmed.

Blondy was in a mess i could see her leg had taken the most damage the didn’t seem to be broken but she had a leg injury the hob-goblin wasn’t wasting time either he was already walking when he made his cleave and he stood in front of blondy both hands on the sword raised above his head he shouted in delight.

-ITS MY WIN HUMAN !

Blondy closed her eyes in fear of what was about to happen but…

Not so fast.

-WHAAT !?

As he was about to swing his sword down tentacles already wrapped his arms legs and body pulling him down blondy stared amazed at the slimes that were pulling the hob-goblin to his knees the next thing that happened was the slimes started to jump onto the goblin drowning him into their gel while he was struggling he managed to kill 4 other slimes by crushing their nuclears in his hands but he wasn’t able to win there were already far too many slimes for him to able to kill and he drowned in their gel his organs shutting down…

I sat down at my rock this whole battle was making me stand up i laughed for a bit…this was fun.

I looked up towards the ceiling of the cave.

-Its my win goblin.
