《A Knight's Promise》Chapter 1 Part 4: The 7 Clans
Advertisement
One of the 7 Clan Masters Who stands at 8 feet tall, has Red layered scales, red eyes, digitigrade legs, and a pair of tails one on the lower back and the other on the back of the head that serves as a nerve cord.
He is Tyrannox the leader of the High Glaive Iron Demon clan, among the Zerrohnians his clan, is well known for their expertise in ground battles. The Iron demon clan bodies are naturally reinforced with Xerrohmite making them extremely tough against any form of attack and able to regenerate their wounds that would normally kill a person.
"The Prime Progenitor needs our aide... Syphoria, Viprax, Vulterra, Titus, Levia, And Astaroth... Our Prime progenitor calls for us... Let us not keep him waiting."Tyrannox growled as he picked up his battle-ax.
"Indeed Brother Tyrannox, the Mother had ordained us to follow the Master... Though I feel ashamed for disobeying Grand Father Victor's orders to not follow him we still pushed for it... I do hope that we do not get scolded again dear brother." Syphoria hissed.
"It will not be so my dear sister... Now enough Idle talk... Syphoria, get your leviathans to secure the space around Ren'veil... Lady Charlotte and the rest of the Dragon-wolf Armada will be heading to this world in a week or two..."
"Right, I will greet the rest of our family as they arrive and deal with any pests that try to get in our way let none stand against the progenitor."
"Good, Viprax lead your clan to the western region there is a fascinating meal waiting for you there..."
"Very well... I am always in the mood to eat the enemies of our people..." Viprax said as his tails rattled.
"Just don't eat the people we need to protect... Father will scold you again if you do that now. Vulterra, eliminate the humans riding from the north by their winged beasts those will annoy Father if they get too close..."
"It will be the most fun to deal with them I will not fail our Family..." Vulterra said as he moved his leviathans into the upper atmosphere.
"Titus your warriors will be needed in the southern lands beyond the city where the rest of our family is... There are many people who need saving I leave that duty to you, my brother... Since you have a more gentle touch in regards to public relations... Levia, my sister take your clan east and aide those pointy-eared humans they may prove useful to the Progenitor or to the breeding hive."
"I shall, what fun shall await for me in the woodlands..." Levia giggled.

"Brother what about me and my Clan are we not going to fight?" Astaroth asked.
"You will Because I will deal with the main force dealing in the north... Your warriors will immediately go down to the planet and aide the master this is an important mission Little brother do not fail the Father and our Queen..."Tyrannox said.
"That is a lot of pressure Big brother but I will not fail I will finally get a chance to prove my clan is not just an ornament!" Astaroth stated as he grabbed his blades.
"I know your clan was recently born and you have fewer warriors than any of our clans the only thing your clan excels at is your limited number but your warriors have the most experience in battle make good use of their experience and they will not fail you. I leave it to you Brother." Tyrannox said as he ended the transmission.
The Leviathans moved into position Astaroth's'Leviathans were merely 16 like Tyrannox said he is the youngest clan masters to have been able to tame the Apex versions of each of the clans' warriors making him fairly dangerous though they have sentience they would prefer to follow a good leader than bow before the rules of the other clan masters.
At the same time on the ground, the battles became worse as the march of the soldiers was not slowing down the city walls had already been breached. The Knights and marines held their ground outside the city center while the gunships evacuated the injured and the children first.
"Where is Lord Anthony, we are getting pushed back?" Fenrir shouted while taking cover from the gunfire.
"We saw him fighting that Black haired swordsman over the hill outside the city earlier the rain is making it hard to see Captain!" The Marine reported.
"Damn it... Khorn can you still fight!" Fenrir asked as he ripped a soldier in half with his claws.
"I can still fight my plasma axes are still hungry for battle!" Khorn stated as he sliced a soldier in half.
"We hold here if we can buy enough time for the people to get to the Night Dreamer then our deaths would be worth it... It has been an honor serving with you all!" Fenrir shouted.
The surviving knights formed a wall with the marines behind the barricade to support them they made their last stand before the New Kingdom army. Just before they were about to die by explosive cannons when they heard loud roars in the background as the thunder and lightning showed the shadows above the skies took the shape of massive whales.

The warriors of the New kingdom stopped as they saw tens of hundreds of massive pods came crashing throughout the city. Several of these pods landed in between the two forces from the crater emerged three humanoid-like warriors with red and black layer armor, dark skin, and bloodthirsty eyes.
The leader of the three raised her blade unleashing a terrifying roar the ground began to shake as hundreds of warriors emerged from the pods that crashed throughout the city.
One of these warriors are called the Fang Wraiths they are small dog-like creatures with roach like wings, and sickled limbs these Fang wraiths have a unique trait of having acidic breath, venomous fangs, and spike tails that they can use as projectiles.
With skin as strong enough to block even a High-frequency battle-ax from the blood fang clan but they cannot take heavy punishment and are merely used as fodder as the knights call it.
These Fang wraiths normally hunt their prey in groups of 7 to 15 but in battle, their numbers can exceed 400 at any given time. Though they are considered as cannon fodder the apex of their kind have high-speed regeneration, extremely tough carapace, and increased speed to the point they can hit a human so hard they would explode.
They are the backbone of any High Glaive army and are heavily used as front line soldiers to clear the path for their much large and formidable kin to attack. They are also one of the bodyguards of Coralline Redridge making them a force to be feared.
The Leader of the pact aimed her blade at the New kingdom army as tens of hundreds of Fang wraiths charged out from the crater pouring down like a raging tsunami against the stone coast. The knights saw how fierce the Fang Wraiths fight as they mauled and ripped apart the New Kingdom soldiers by the war hounds of the high glaives.
The Fang wraiths tore apart their enemies with their numbers and expert hunting skills while another species of the high glaive called Ragnophage came to the scene easily destroyed the new kingdom's cannons with a volley of spikes before they could fire upon the civilians.
These dragon-like creatures possess near human-like features except for a tail with a three crowned spike, A pair of claw-like arms and another pair of arms in the shape of cannons, two rows of teeth, and a second jaw to ensure it's prey will not escape.
The Ragnophage is the heavy infantry as they stand side by side with the Fang Wraiths these are the shock troopers of the clan's war arsenal. They can pick up their enemies and eat them whole or use the enemy's weapons against them they know how to use shields and cover like any soldier.
Their true ability is how they can provide support to both the armies of the Kingdom and to their kin while in battle gaining them the combat discipline of true sight.
The apex variants are smarter, more agile, and extremely aggressive when fighting the enemies of their clan or allies and often be excessively protective when absolutely needed.
These creatures have evolved in the harsh living conditions of the Black Zone with enhanced strength through self-evolution, those who have reached the apex evolution have bulkier and more war-torn bodies.
The Apex of the Ragnophage is extremely intelligent as they can easily hack computers, use weapons and shields and even disable bombs.
The Ragnophage marched to the front of the Fang wraiths who were being pelted with bullets absorbed the impact of the rifle shots and even the cannon fire proved nothing to these mighty beasts. They marched towards their enemies as the New Kingdom's army was being torn apart or even eaten alive by the High Glaives. The Zerrohnian Marines and Knights joined in the fight aiding the High Glaives in the fight to free the city.
Atop the hillside where Rio and Kent fought a large number of new kingdom soldiers surrounded Kent armed with mana steel spears and blades. Just before they charged at the Knight Lord several bio pods crashed from the sky and unleashed Ragnophage and Fang wraiths as they started slaughtering and devouring the New kingdom army.
from inside of the pods a humanoid creature had emerged standing 6 foot tall, with brown spikes on the side of his head, long black hair, red eyes, fairly moderate body build, and brown skin.
Astaroth wore black pants, a black shirt, and reinforced boots, he also had a silver steel bio-carapace armor with a left side shoulder cape, he also wore a pair of knuckle gauntlets, a pair of belt knives on his legs, and his favorite war hammer the skull splitter.
He knelt before his progenitor waiting silently for his orders what fate awaits Ren'veil remains unclear but one thing is certain Faith had already set her plans in motion.
Be it good or ill all things shall be made clear to one and all as the Frontier begins to unfold with the Dragon and the wolf standing before her.
With the High Glaives arrival, the New Kingdom never knew fear from farmers with pitchforks but now they face a terrifying opponent no soul should ever face.

Leveled Plane
Update: Yo! Sorry for the late notice, but I will not be posting on 3/6 or on 3/13 due to midterms. I’ll return on 3/20 with a new chapter. See ya then! A fun experience for all ages. Well, it would've been that. Leveled Plane, the VR multiplayer online game renowned for its innovation and variety. Billions of people play the game on a regular basis. Thirty years after its release, the number of people who've "completed" the game is still a resounding zero. So what happens when a veteran and a noob with nothing left to lose take a crack at it? ... Nothing good... Follow along as Heather and Jamie do everything they can to last one day longer, go one step further, all while dealing with game politics and the slow acceptance of their new reality. This is an idea I've had in my head for a long time, and I really want to do it justice, so I'm taking my time with this monster. The initial plan for this story has it spanning at least 3-4 volumes if everything goes well. Any feedback (as long as it's constructive) is welcomed and appreciated. New chapters are released every Sunday.

Tales of Mana
Announcement: I (the author) am currently on a journey through guides, feedback and countless pages of miscellaneous other stuff to improve this work. I will not change the plot, but the style should be improved by a lot. I also intend to give more insights on the world and its characters. Once that is taken care of, this message will be removed. Until then, I wish you keep this in mind if you keep reading. - You know the stories about how some random person get's resurrected as the hero of a fantasy world after dying in their previous one? Well.. Mana may have been revived, but definitely not as a hero. This world does not require to be saved. It has to be changed. However.. how much can something be bent.. before breaking? - Mature tag due to: description of gory scenes. Some violence. This will go down after the first few chapters, but will resurface later on. Example: """"had literally drowned on its own blood"""". No sx scenes. To get some things out of the way: -this is my first submission, and the first story I ever wrote. If you find mistakes, or have something to criticize, please do so, but DON'T just write """"xy = bad"""". Explain me how to improve. Would be nice.
