It’s cold. Oh~, I’m sleeping on the cold snow with my face down. How long have I been sleeping?

I tried to get up, and I can feel muscle ache everywhere. Come to think of it, yesterday was unbelievable. Running across Kilometer and fought a death battle with a rare monster with 150 difference in level, I think I almost got a one way ticket to visit Shinigami a few time.

I got up and do some stretching. Uwaa~ my body is screaming.

I healed myself and I can feel the pain subsided. I continued doing morning exercises. I’m a NEET that stay mostly indoor, but morning exercise is important!! Why? Because I got to do exercise with my sisters!! For my sisters, Onii-chan is willing to do anything! Ufufufufu~

I glanced over and I saw Shifun-chan still sleeping soundly. Her status is normal and her HP is full, yet she couldn’t wake up. I wondered why? Could it be that shock from a high level Antlion knocked her out cold for several day? Well, I remembered reading a case where a person ‘faint’ state last 1 year because he suffered a magic attack from a monster.

While thinking so, I felt cold sweat dripping. That’s not the case for her, right? I don’t want to wait for a year until she wake up. That’s too long! I still have to Bell and the spirit to complete the quest.

It’s no use thinking about it, there’s nothing wrong with her status. Maybe, she’ll wake up soon. Even if she wouldn’t, I just have to carry her along. There’s no more Antlions around here anyway.

After that I went outside to do my normal routine exercise. Taking my time reminiscing my sisters, I finished my normal workup. Next, let’s do sword training!

I went back inside the igloo, and search for my sword. And then I found it laying on the snow near the place I slept. I grabbed the ‘Little Iceberg’, but I was startled. Because the sword looked different. There’s strange rune character embedded across the sword and the grip handle looked different as well.

This is ‘Little Iceberg’, right?! The one I used it yesterday. However, it seemed different – no, this is different. There’s nothing similar at all!

Somehow it become an Epic Grade Weapon!! It’s not just Epic Grade Weapon, it’s close enough to become a Legendary one! The stats have been triple! From a normal looking ‘Little Iceberg’ to this! JUST WHAT DID I DO?

OMG. My hand is shaking. I’m getting really excited now! I want to try it now!! Without waiting, I rushed outside. Tightly grabbing the sword, I practiced normal swing.

Blue trail left behind in every swing were even prettier and that made my body tremble. I find it really hard to contain myself from jumping in excitement. IT IS REALLY TOO COOL!

I can’t stop myself at all. I want to try the next thing!! In the Active Skill part, there are two skills.

I know what Rush can do, but there’s new skill in it too.

“Hail Slash”!

Nothing happened. Did I do it wrong? What did I do wrong? Wait, the name ‘Hail Slash’, so it has to do with a slash, right? So I should cast it while slashing?

I tried my thought. I made an ice wall and I made a wide swing –

The blue trait left behind by the swing didn’t disappear and turn frozen forming into a crescent moon shape ice. I was curious of what happening, but then a second later, numerous tiny things emerged from the crescent moon shape ice and shot forward in wide direction.

Small blue needle like burst out and flew forward about 5 meters from the crescent moon shape ice. It was a barrage of ice needle burst from the blue trail I formed and completely eradicated the wall I created.

About 10 seconds later, the shooting stopped as the crescent moon shape ice disappeared. I was dumbstruck and stood still. It wasn’t that my excitement died down. It just that it was beyond me. I still haven’t digest what’s in front of me yet. The ice wall was no more, to be honest, the land was gouged out from the attack.

SERIOUSLY?! Isn’t this skill a close range machine gun??!!! This is over-kill!!

What should I do? I’m a bit scared of this sword now. What’s if I accidentally stood in front of that attack, wouldn’t I be filled with holes?

I think I like ‘Little Iceberg’ better now. Why? There’s ‘Little’ in its name which is kind of cute and it didn’t have sure-kill attack. I bet Amano-chan will agree with me. I think she will love ‘Little Iceberg’ as well.

That’s it. I’ve decided. Let’s finish with the experiment and seal this away. It’s too dangerous to keep this out open.

Next, I tried experiment with the sword skill – Hail Slash. Apparently, I can control the trajectory of the ice needle, and pointed them into a single direction or chase after a moving direction.

And after using it two more times, I couldn’t use it anymore. When I tried it using it the fourth time, a message popped up in front of me.

Cool-down duration : 6 Hr.

I sighed in relieved as there’s limit to it. It means that I don’t have to worry about accidentally executing the skill. Since mere thought could execute skill as well. And, lastly this skill consumed 100 MP each time just like my ‘Ice Arrows’.

OK! Close file! End of Testing Skill! I hereby seal this skill unless critical situation called upon!

Let’s move to the Enhancement part. There’s two of them and they are easy to understand. First, I made a pillar, and then I put the sword on top of it. I dropped it and it went down cutting through the pillar like nothing. WHAT SHARPNESS!!

Second, I tested the Pure Ancient Ice Mana enhancement. It’s just as it describes. Basically, everything it touched turn frozen and shattered if I put in more strength.

I finished my sword training and testing at the same time, and so I immediately put the ‘King Glacier Iceberg’ back in the ring.

And then I went back inside. As for breakfast, I created ice lance, broke the tip and sucked on it combined with some unidentified food that I found. I was crestfallen when I found out that there’s no small animal around here except the Antlions. And worst of all, monster disappeared whole without leaving anything behind! How do I find food??!!

At first, I wondered how do they survive here in the first place, but it seems that their food provider are Fodder Antlions. These guys has no wings and the front legs aren’t so sharp as well. However, they can create food and give to other Antlions. I stole it from it after I killed it. Looking at the food, I was in the dilemma whether to eat it or not because it come from Fodder Antlion’s –

I held my mouth looking pale when I think about it. Let’s stop reminding myself about it. I don’t want to think about it. It’s long in the past now. If I don’t eat then I might die of hunger. So I had no choice.

Last time, I used 2 Health Stones and 2 Mana Stone. It was thanked to those that I survived. The benefit of potion is really too great that I can’t go without. Right now, I got 10 H.Stone, 15 M.Stone and 5 R.Stone. And R.Stone apparently has the effect of fully restored HP and MP while removing negative status.

I made a jackpot! Muhahahah~

The cloak so white like its name imply is a Magic Bound Equipment. So I bind it immediately. And then I got 100 INT and 100 WIS after binding it. After I bound it, the cloak changed its form. And now, there’s faint golden snowflake embroidery. And all of its base stats improves while new skills and Enhancement are added.

After binding it, I noticed a different between Magic equipment and Magic Bound Equipment. Magic Bound equipment are better in performance, and it has the chance to evolve into higher equipment after binding it. And after binding it, I get the stats bonus permanently.

Magic Equipment, on the hand, didn’t have those features. Legendary equipment might have skill attached to it, but that’s all. Anything equipment with ‘Bound’ in its name are way better in performance.

King Antlion full Cuirass are a full set of blue armor starting from Helm, armor, arm guards, shoulder guards, knee guards and armor boot. They are solid hard emitting chilling cold aura around it and while holding it, I was reminded of the King Antlion.

I didn’t equip it on, and then I put it in the ring. It looked too bulky and difficult to walk in. Other equipment is pale in comparison with the Epic Set or my snowflake cloak. So I put them back as well. However, I equipped one Elder Carapace Armguard and the Glacier Ring.

Elder Carapace Armguard has beautiful color and design which is why I put it on. The stats didn’t matter much in it. However, Glacier Ring is a different story.

It has a skill similar to Bound Equipment. That’s why I decided to wear it. I didn’t know the effect of the skill yet, but I’ll try it later on.

And next is weapon. Apparently, I got many Little Iceberg. However, I divided into the Magic Bound Equipment and Magic Equipment. I didn’t bind them because I afraid that it might turn them all into King Glacier Iceberg. And so I left them alone for now.

Frost Pinch are blue ice element knife which has 20% chance to inflict Frozen Status on target, and 80% chance when done stealthily. They are cool and easy to grip. Sadly, there’s no Bound Equipment.

The last weapon is the one I got from the Jade Antlion. The Trident reminded me of the Tri-horned on its head. The whole body of the Trident is clad in smooth green jade. Since it is a bound equipment, I tried to bind it. However I got a message asking me to release the bind with the King Glacier Iceberg. Since there’s many things I don’t know yet about the system. So I decided to play safe and put it back in the ring.

Next groups of item is Misc item! Well, it’s the usual Antlion’s drop part. When I used identify on them, they are parts used in blacksmithing, or alchemy. Magic crystal are the highest purity of Magic stone which in in the monster.

There is this strange parchment looking thing that seemed to be separated into 6 parts. I reattached them as if fixing a puzzle, and then I used Identify on it, I jumped in excitement.

AWESOME!!! It’s too AWESOME!!! It’s a skill for me only!! I can’t believe it!! I didn’t expect that my class and the Pure Ancient Ice Mana can affect it! Come to think of it, the Pure Ancient Ice Mana affect and improve base performance as long as it’s ice magic.

Deep blue Ice arrows were able to pierce the Jade carapace whereas the normal blue arrows got deflected away. It’s basically a cheat for me!! Muhahahaha~

However, I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed with last item. It was the drop from the Jade Antlion – Nature Magic Prayer.

And I have no idea what it does. It looked like a white cross where there’s a hole at the bottom of it. And that’s it! I used Identify and it was a magical bone of the Jade Antlion that produce magic liquid necessary to activate the ‘Tri-horned Surge’.

Since it was the last item, I decided to play around with it a little. I tried to figure out what I can do with it. After pondering for a while, I found out that I can put my MP in it. Basically, it can absorb my mana. I decided to pour in my MP waiting for something to happen. After finished input for 10000, the Nature Magic Prayer glowed in bluish color.

And then suddenly a message popped up in front of me. However, it wasn’t announcement like before. It was a message with puzzle asking me to solve it. I was baffled looking at it since I didn’t know what’s going on. However, as a gamer, I can’t ignore the game in front of me!

The puzzle is hard. It’s nothing like IQ puzzle. It’s more like I’m rearranging and building chromosome and DNA. And it didn’t finish with one. There’re still many more to solve. WHAT THE HECK WITH THIS!!!

More importantly, WHAT THE HECK WITH ME?!! How did I get the puzzle right??!! I don’t remember what I study, but the certificate proved that I’m major in IT, right??!! I’m not even a doctor. THEN HOW THE HELL DID I GET THOSE PUZZLE, RIGHT?! No – I don’t think even doctor get it right.

After 15 puzzles, I’m exhausted. And fortunately, it ended with that as well.

No matter how you look it, this is a potion! This is definitely a POTION!

What I am holding is a glass bottle with pale light blue liquid inside. Unable to believe what’s going on, I hesitated to Identify on the potion. Looking at the potion, I glanced toward the Nature Magic Prayer back and forth.

What’s with this??! I can see her whole Status so easily!! Normally, I could only see the level and her HP and MP. However, I can see everything now.

Her stats are low! Even if her level is 25, her stats are barely half of mine. She did a good job staying alive from those Antlions.

When I used status reading, I didn’t see ‘Ice Confinement’. However, now I can see it on her status. True Reading is really great. It’s like AVG virus scanner. The hidden status could be seen.

Damn, have I been fighting those guys with attack like this???!! If I didn’t have 100% ice resistance from the Pure Ancient Ice mana. Wouldn’t I be a frozen sculpture already?
