The first time happened when we first met. Inside the ritual temple of the kingdom. That – was our first time.

NO!! I didn’t mean that it was our first time. We didn’t do anything ecchi! I mean it was our first duel, and I accidently knocked him out cold.

“H-H-H-Hero-sama. F-F-F-Fight me”

When I accidently said that I was really panic. I wanted to apologize to him and then would endure any punishment he gave me, but since that time I was too tense. Instead of apologizing, it instead became a duel declaration.

What should I do? What should I say to him next? He is staring at me and then he narrowed his eyes. He is evaluating me, isn’t he? I looked at him again and then I realized something.

Oh my god, he didn’t have any weapon. How could I fight with an unarmed opponent? I’m failure as a knight. I should find him a weapon. However, what weapon should I give him? Should I give him my weapon?

I lower my sword and take a good look at it. It’s a rather old sword, and it was my companion for a long time. I don’t want to part with it, but I can’t let Hero-sama battle with half-assed sword either. OK, I’m going to give him this, and then I’ll take an ordinary sword to battle him.

No, No, No! I must be focus, or Hero-sama will laugh at me. I can’t embarrass myself in front of him. He accepts me, so I’ll show him my all. My years and years of training.

I then handed the sword over to him. He looks baffled at first, but then he took it gracefully. He swings it many times, and his swings are beautiful. He must be really good with sword.

“OK with sword, Hero-sama”

Oh no, I blurt that out without thinking. Did I say something weird? I meant to compliment him though.

“Yeah, I’m familiar with it.”

He got my meaning! Oh no, I think I’m going red. I turned down and looked away. Hime-sama is looking at me while smiling.

‘Ufufufuf- my shifun-chan is growing up’

She held her mouth, but I knew that she was laughing at me! HIme-sama’s meanie!

I then went and took a sword from another guard. I calmed down my mind and looked at him. I took a deep breath and then I thought of my status.

I nodded with myself as my years of training has brought me this far. Here I go, Hero-sama.

I said and then I leapt toward him. I strike with my strongest attack.

Somehow I had a bad feeling about this. And when I turned back, Hero-sama has fallen.

She said with a simple world, and then I went pale.

I fell with a thud and my mind was screaming.

“Shifun!! Are you ok?”

“HIme-sama *sob* I kill Hero.”

“It was just an accident! You didn’t do anything. You didn’t hear anything. You didn’t kill anyone! Don’t worry, Shifun. I’ll do something about this!!”

Hime-sama, what are you talking about? Don’t say something so scary!

“Today, how many Heroes did we summon?”

“Eh? 10-”

“That’s wrong. Only 9!! If anyone ask, the number of Hero-sama we summon today is 9. To everyone in here as well, if I hear some fault information about the number of Hero-sama was summoned today. Ufufufu- you know what will happen, right?”

“WAIT, Hime-sama. Stop it. Calm down.”

I shouted and grabbed her hand. Hime-sama’s eyes has become evil. I know she is trying to do this for me. However, I can’t let her cover a crime for me. I definitely can’t let her do that.

“Hime-sama. I take responsibility.”

“No, No, Shifun-chan. I can’t let that happen. No matter happen, I’ll get you out of this.”

“Hime-sama~”

“Shifun-chan~”

Hime-sama held me tight in her arm. I can feel her warm and I can feel her heartbeat. She is worried about me.

“Muhahahaha!”

“Shinon-senpai? What happened?”

“It’s fine, it’s fine.”

Suddenly, we heard something coming from one of the Heroes. Slightly dark hair with charming face, she walked toward the fallen hero and poked him with her feet.

“Oi!! Don’t be rude to the death!”

“Muhahahaha. This is interesting. Hey, Princess and Shifun-chan. This guy is still alive.”

Hime-sama and I were shocked to hear that. I was sure that I strike a critical hit on him.

“How?~ How could emm-?”

“Shinon. My name is Shinon. Please to meet you, Mariona hime-sama.”

“My pleasure. How could you be sure that he was still alive. I’m pretty sure I check his HP”

“Who know? Just right now, his HP is regenerating. So he’s alright. He just faint that’s all. So don’t worry much.”

“Really?! Did you hear that? Shifun-chan?! He’s alright! You’re not a murderer.”

“Hmm”

I also glad that I didn’t kill the Hero. However, I still feel weird about this.

“Hmm~ It seems that you two are really close~ No wonder Princess almost went crazy because of that. Shifun-chan, you sure are lucky girl, aren’t you?”

Shinon-sama said as such and then Princess went red to protest her.

“Hahaha. Well, at me introduce myself. I’m Shinon. I’m these guy Senpai. We study in the same school, but then we got summoned together.”

*Yawn*

“Sorry, Princess. Since you guy summoned us in the middle of the night, we haven’t slept yet. And these all of these events, it still haven’t sunk in yet. So we would request some place to sleep first. I’m really sleepy.”

She said again as she yawns again. Princess blinked to the straightness of Shinon-sama, and then she smiled.

“Very Well. I’m sure Hero-sama are really tired after being summoned. Guards! Prepare rooms for Hero-sama!”

She declares and then all the guards starts moving out.

“Shifun-chan?”

Suddenly, Shinon-sama called to me.

“Hai?”

“When that guy wake up, make sure you apologize him, ok?”

“Hai!”

I was baffled with her word, but then she was already gone. After thinking like that

Apologize, yeah, I need to apologize. First thing tomorrow, I’ll apologize to him. I went overboard while he went easy on me. Yeah, that must be what had happened. Heroes-sama are strong. There’s no way he would be knocked down with a single swing like that.

Later on, I went training for the rest of the day to clear out my mind. And then I woke up late in the morning since I went too far with my training.

Hero-sama should wake up already. I can’t believe that I over slept like that. If I apologize now, would he accept it? He wouldn’t be angry, right? I worried.

Hmm! Be strong, Shifun! I’m a knight. I have to do this. I have to apologize even if he doesn’t forgive me. While I was walking, I suddenly saw Shinon-sama talking to Hime-sama.

“Shinon-sama, hime-sama. Good morning.”

“Shifun-chan, Good morning. It’s unusual for you to wake up late.”

“Sorry, HIme-sama”

“It’s fine. It was too much for you yesterday as well.”

As always, Hime-sama greeted me with warm smile. I like her when she smiled like this.

“ARRHHH!!!”

Suddenly, we heard a scream from the dining chamber.

“Shifun-chan!”

“Hai!!”

I rushed first toward the place. I opened the door and then I saw hero-sama was being attacked by someone. Without second thought I shouted.

“STOP THIS INSTANTLY. I WON’T LET YOU HURT HERO-SAMA”

And then followed with a quick dash, I swung from behind the culprit.

Critical Strike! Target’s has fallen.

Mission accomplished, I just save hero-sama. I turned around to look at the culprit who fell with a thud. After checking his face, I went pale.

“Hii! H-H-Hero-sama?”

“SHU-SAN?!”

He fell and then he closed his eyes. Other heroes came to see him immediately. Still frozen at the sight, I didn’t know what to do. And then, Shinon-sama and Hime-sama came.

“Shifun-chan, what’s going on?”

“I-I-I-I-I Killed Hero-sama again”

“HAH!?”

Hime-sama shouted, and then her face went pale. And then suddenly, her face become funny. Her eyes and smile turned that of an evil. Wait, no- HIme-sama. You can’t smile like that.

“Hime-sama. No~”

“Don’t worry, Shifun-chan. I’ll do something about this.”

“Hime-sama. No, You can’t do that.”

“Don’t worry, For Shifun-chan, I’ll do anything even to give up this princess status. I won’t let my best friend suffer-”

And then Hime-sama was stopped by Shinon-sama.

“Don’t worry much, you two. Hey, Tanaka. Is he alright?”

“Hai! He’s still breathing. He’s just faint. That’s all.”

“See? You don’t have to be so tense. Hime. That guy is pretty tough. And Shifun-chan, so even if you shoot him more slash, it would be fine.”

“I can’t do that!”

“Muhahaha.”

While I was in grief, Shinon-sama laughed.

Seriously, not once, but twice? How am I supposed to get his forgiveness, now?

“Shifun-chan. If you’re worried whether this guy forgive you or not, don’t be, this guy will definitely forgive you.”

“Really?”

“Hmm! Really! Oh, I know a magic word that would gradually make him answer to your every command. So go and literally make him your slave!”

I just wanted to apologize, though.

And then, Shinon-sama leaned closed and whispered to me. I nodded and listened to this secret technique. However, as I made out what she meant, I blush.

“It’s fine, it’s fine. Oh Princess, I’ll borrow Shifun-chan a bit, ok? You can handle the rest here, tell the situation you told me to Tanaka-kun”

“Heh? Sure, I’ll do that. But why would you need shifun-chan for?”

“Secret~ Come on, let’s go Shifun-chan!”

“Wait~ Help~”

I tries to struggle away, but Shinon-sama grabbed me tight and dragged me away. And then Shinon-sama took me to her room. She closed to door with a bang, and then she looks at me with strange eyes.

“Ehehe~ Shifun-chan~”

She suddenly brought out clothes from her back like a magician. Is Shinon-sama’s class a mage? However, as I saw her expression and laugh, I can’t help but shivering.

“Let’s transform!”

“NO~!!!!”

I let a scream. And then she started jumping at me and removing me armor like a wild beast. I tries guarding against her, but she broke my arm guard like it was nothing.

“Try to resist me? What a bad girl, you need to be punished~”

I turned pale at her vicious aura. Somebody, please help me. And then the next thing, she really transform me.

“Ok, finish. Wow, Shifun-chan. You’re gorgeous. I can’t believe it! Even in different world, my skill is peerless. I’m afraid of my own skill. Muhahahahaa~”

I turned to mirror and I then saw a beautiful girl in the mirror. I barely recognized myself as I completely looks different from before. Shinon-sama is really skillful, I can’t believe she can make someone as plain as me to look like this.

Dark brown hair which tied in twin tail, I also has a big blue ribbon on my head. Shinon-sama put makeup on me, but it wasn’t strong like all those nobles put their makeup. Bluish white dress with frill here and there, it was really pretty.

“How’s the dress? I make them my own, you know? Enough to make you cry and running for it, right?”

She was right, I have never seen such dress in my life. I have never interested in dress before since I was a knight. However, right now, I really like this dress. I blush unconsciously.

“OH MY GOD!! YOU’RE SO CUTE!! If it wasn’t for that guy, maybe I’ll gobble you up right now. As a cosplay designer, I’m proud of you. OK! Shifun-chan. Your transformation will be completely with the magic word! Now say it to complete your transformation.”

As I heard she mentions about the magic word, I blush harder and try to resist her. However, I wasn’t allowed to. Shinon-sama’s eyes turn strange when I try, so I stop.

“…”

“…”

“I can’t do it!”

“NO BUT! DO IT NOW!”

“…Shu-xxxxxxxxxx”

*Cough*

Suddenly Shinon-sama falls down and coughs out blood. Oh my god, what’s happening?

“S-S-S-Shinon-sama”

“Shifun-chan my dear. Listen well. I have nothing else to teach you. Go now, my dear. You’re ready. Before, I lost my control of myself and jumped on you. Go! Failure is not accepted!”

Shinon-sama talked as if she was leaving behind her death wish. I was really panic and then I went to check for her breath. She was still breathing, and she has happy expression on her face. She will be ok, right? I bowed and left. Feeling uncomfortable without my sword, I took it with me.

And then, I went to Shu-sama’s room. Of course, I didn’t go through the main corridor. My appearance right now must not be seen. I sneak around, and finally I reach his room.

Uwah~ just thinking about the two times I knocks him out cold, and his faces when he wouldn’t forgive me, I couldn’t bring myself to open the door. My hands is shaking. Should I stop? Should I head back?

NO, NO, NO~ Shifun! You are a knight. What are you doing? Shinon-sama has already said it. My chance of victory is high. Just do what she said. Beside, Hero-sama must be kind and honorable. I has to apologize.

First, don’t knock the door. Second, slam the door.

*Bang*

Third, body gesture and teary eyes. Fourth, Magic word!

“Shu-Onii-sama. Shifun-chan, your dear imouto is here-”

I opened my eyes, and I was frozen at the scene. Shu-sama’s pant was gone, and there was a maid whose cloth in tatters. She blushes and screams.

“Shu-sama!! You cheater!”

“You misunderstand!”

And then he face to me, and my head went blank.

“NO!!! PERVERT!!!”

“WAIT!!”

I drew my sword and struck him. He stopped my sword by grabbing it.

“heheh~ You think I fall for your attack, aga-”

I landed him with a punch and he was sent flying to the corner of the room. And then I bolted out of room.

Damn! What’s with honorable and kind??!! He’s just a pervert!! Pervert!! Siscon!! Woman enemy!!! He should just die!!!

“OH!! Is that you, Shifun-san?! I’m Tanaka Shinichi. I have never introduced to you y-”

“I don’t want anything to do with PERVERT!!”

“HAH??!!”

And then I ran even faster.

“Oi, Tanaka-kun. We need to talk.”

“Wait! Shizuku! It’s not like you think!”

“But didn’t she just call you a pervert?!! What did you exactly?? Did you peep on her or something??!!”

“It’s hurt~ wait listen to me!”

“NO!!! You pay for this!! Cheater!!~”

I ignored the conversation of two heroes behind and headed straight to my room. Damn! I hate today. Why did I has to see something like that??!! That’s it!! I swear that I’ll become stronger than that pervert hero!!! Hime-sama doesn’t need someone like that!!!
