Chapter 2 : In Different World

Hello, I’m Shu Shikure. 17 years old Male and on top of that I just stepped in a summoning circle. I pushed my sisters away and I fell into the Summoning Circle.

Let’s observe the situation here. I remembered pushing my sisters away and then I got swallowed in the light. And now, here I am lying flat on the ground. I can’t help it, I jumped to push my sisters away. I pick myself up and look around.

There was a big formation on the ground, and I was inside of it. There are 9 people also standing inside it. They are kids around 16. Some of them was in their pajamas. I checked around and I was relieved. My sisters aren’t here.

Well that was expected. The summoning was during the night. However!! Who thought of the idea of summoning people in the middle of the night? What if they were taking bath, wouldn’t they be coming here naked??!!! Have some common sense!

I looked around the room and then I noticed light was seeping through the glass-like window. So it was daytime here, that’s mean we have different timeline. Then I can’t really blame them.

The building seems like the 15th century European building. There are pillar with complicated carving and embedded colorful gems. This place seems like a place for a special ritual. Well, I was summoned, so this might be a building for summoning ritual.

There are people wear robe-like attire, the way they dress and the way they hold their staff. One word came to mind – Magician. However, I’m not so sure that they are real magician yet. I’m not even sure this whole place is a different world either. Even I like light novel and stuff, I’m not too naïve to immediately believe that I’m suddenly in a different world.

That’s the obvious mistake that people make. I can’t get excited about this at all, and I need to observe more. I need more informat – Damn! That’s girl night gown is too erotic!!

As I was looking around, I noticed a girl who was in her night gown hugging herself in confusion. Her body is perfect! She has every part of her body in perfect shape and length. Her slim arm and her leg reveal too much of her skin- KYAAA!! Calm down me!! What am I doing??!! Isn’t she just 16 years old girl??!! I have my sisters that rival to that sight. So calm down – arrhh!!

I make a glance again and then her sleeve drop from her shoulder revealing her nape. NO! IT’s too strong! The temptation is too strong!! Endure it, me!!

“What is going here?”

A boy shouted that as he couldn’t take the situation anymore. As I looked at him, he was wearing – let’s ignore him. I have no interest in a guy wearing girl’s night gown.

Seeing that sight, I somehow felt my eyes tainted in darkness. DAMN! Why did I have to see that? However, I calm down. Thank to that, the demon temptation was gone. I don’t feel anything anymore. And about that girl, a guy who seemed to be her friend offered his jacket, and then he raises his voice.

“Can anyone explain to us, what’s going on?? Why are you kidnapped my friends??”

NICE JOB! You just prevent the crime of day. He’s a pretty good guy. He got looks and manner to boot. Ok, I’ll call him, Hero-kun. Why? Because he looks like just like a protagonist from certain story. And the girl he saves clang to him like a small animal. She has pretty good face and fair skin. She has blond hair with curve twin tail. Let’s call Ojou – chan. Why? Because she looks just like certain rich girl from a prestige family.

Everyone seems to wake up from his call, and then looks at him. It seems that they are all friends except me. Somehow I felt bad-

Arhh! Somehow I come upon something unexpected. One of the girl wear the same uniforms as my sisters. So they are from the same school as my sister?!

Wait, I know that girl. The one who wear school uniform is one of my sisters’ friends. Amane-chan seems to like this girl very much. Last time, I followed my sisters when they said they had a date. However, it turned out to be a girl. And this is the girl. I wasn’t stalking my own sisters, ok?! I just followed and checked on them occasionally, that’s all!

A beautiful girl dress in silver glittering dress declared while bowing. The dress was sleeveless revealing her smooth silky skin. With long silver hair and blue eyes as clear as the ocean, this girl is undoubtedly a goddess. She might not be a goddess, but she looks just like one. Seeing her, I feel my eyes had been purified.

Arh~ Goddess-sama – Wait!!! I’ve got Amane and Amano already! Snap out of it, me!! Onii-chan’ heart only has my twin angels. There is no room for any goddess. Calm down! Worldly Desire! Disperse!

*Deep Breath*

Ok. I calm down now. Thankfully, images of Amane and Amano has been burned deeply in my head. Any illusionary temptation couldn’t do anything to me. However, I have to say. This princess level is too high. If I hadn’t have any resistance, I would have crawl and lick her feet already.

Suddenly I noticed something strange with everyone. They were blushing red looking at the princess. Even the girls was looking at her with bashful face. She is really pretty, right?

Wait, I don’t think so. I looks at the princess again, and I fell down. The feeling of lust and excitement from before was gone. She looks pretty, but that’s all. My sisters’ cuteness was way better. I can’t believe that I felt excited looking at her.

“Goddess~”

“She’s Goddess~”

“Pretty~”

“Damn, she is so pretty~”

Next to me, I heard everyone murmured something of her. They are praising her, now that’s even weird. Why do they compare her to a goddess? Is it a coincident or-?

“Arh~ I want to lick her feet~”

Just forget about that pitiful existence! What’s with that stupid face?! And cover yourself already, aren’t you proud to show yourself in this girl night gown?! It looks so gross I want to puke. Why are you standing next to me? I don’t want to be tainted! Stay away!! This Onii-chan must be pure. Anything impure stay away!!

Looking at his face, I just feel the urge to knock the light out of him, but then I noticed something strange. Everyone looks just like him. Their eyes looks just like they were controlled. And then I realized.

Shit! To think something like that could happen. This is too much of a fantasy world. No matter, I felt excited looking at her. Damn it! They kidnapped us from our world, and now they want to us to fight in their war using such cheap trick.

If I hadn’t pushed away my sisters, wouldn’t they came here without knowing anything and felt scared? And then they have to face this situation and forced to fight in this world’s stupid war. Onii-chan won’t allow it. Onii-chan won’t forgive it. Whoever tried to hurt my sisters, I won’t forgive them.

Anger was building in me and then I glared at the first princess.

“Oi! Fake Mario!”

I shouted loud enough so that everyone could me. The first princess startled at my voice and looked at me blankly.

“You, who are you to shout at a beautiful girl like that?!!”

A guy from the group came to grab me, but he retreats as I glare at him. And then I glares back at the princess.

“Yeah, I’m calling you! Look at me! STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING NOW”

“Hero-sama, what could you be talking about?”

“Don’t you play dumb! TURN EVERYONE BACK TO NORMAL. YOU ARE TRYING TO CHARM THEM, RIGHT?”

“??!! No~ That’s not what I inten-”

I glared at her and said. She trembled at my word. Alright, she has taken the bait. This girl’s really trying to manipulate everyone. I won’t let this go, and I won’t forgive her.

I take a first step, and then a girl in armor behind the princess run in and stand before me.

“Hero-sama!! F-F-F-FIGHT ME!”

HAH??!!! How did it come to this?? That girl had already drawn her sword and pointed at me. What should I do?! Should I sorry?! Sorry! So put back that sword! That’s scary!

And then I regretted shouting at the princess.

--- Changing Perspective --- Shifun

I’m Shifun Arun, and I am Mariona Athena hime-sama’s personal guard. I have been protecting Princess since she was young. Mariona Athena hime-sama is really kind and she is really beautiful. However, she has a curse that nobody know.

She has the curse that captivate everyone who took sight of her. Since born, she wasn’t allowed to go outside since she couldn’t control her power. And after she grow up, her power got stronger. There are accidents around her since people around her are under effect of her curse. Nobody look at her for who she is. Nobody understand her.

However, that wasn’t true. I was there for her. I understand her. I was one of the lucky people that wasn’t effected by her curse. That why I was made into Mariona Athena hime-sama’s personal guard. I’m not really good with word. I always have problem talking to other, but Hime-sama is really kind, and she treats me like sister. I like her and I will protect her even if I put my life on the line.

From kid, I have always heard the story of Heroes from another world. I love them, and I really want to meet them. And now today, my childish wish is becoming true. Our kingdom decided to perform Hero Summoning Ritual. Hime-sama will be watch over this ritual and I will be there with her. Just knowing this, I was really happy.

And then everything happens the way I expect it. The magic poured in the magic formation circle glittered in reaction. And a big explosion come and the formation stops shining. And then standing in the formation, there were ten figures. Ten Heroes!

Hime-sama was really happy because it was a successful one. She kept smiling all the time and she looks really beautiful. Heroes looks surprise and confused at first, but then they all looks at her with awe. They must be surprise on how beautiful Hime-sama is.

Hime-sama starts talking to them and calm them down. They seems to be angry at us for summoning them, but Hime-sama takes care of it with style. Hime-sama is really cool. I wondered why Heroes wears something so revealing, is that what they wear at their world?

However, I don’t care. We succeed in summoning Heroes and the court magician become exhausted because of them. Lord Athrum is panting, he is the best court magician in the kingdom and his mana capacity is really large. To have him exhausted in one go, the Heroes must be really strong.

Lord Athrum said something about corresponding mana is needed to summon the Heroes. I don’t get it, but I knew that the stronger Hero needs larger mana capacity to summon. 15 court magicians has run out of their magic completely, the Heroes must be really strong.

I believe it, and Hime-sama believes it.

“Oi! Fake Mario!”

Suddenly, I heard one of the Heroes shouted in loud voice. Everyone turned to him, and I also turn to look at him. His black hair and black eyes were that of a crow, and his overall look seems average. He looks normal if I have to say.

Unlike other, I might lost sight of him if I don’t focus on him. If he isn’t in the formation, I would never thought he is a hero. He seems to be mad, who is he calling to?

“You, who are you to shout at a beautiful girl like that?!!”

Suddenly one of the heroes came to grab him and shouted. He seems to refer to Hime-sama. Maybe possibly, the black-hair hero refers to Hime-sama? However, why did he get angry at her?

Without doing anything, the hero who grab him backs away. I also notices why. Unlike his normal looks, right now his gaze was cold and deathly. I instinctively grabbed my sword without thinking. Those gazes were that of a snake staring death at its prey. And he is glaring at Hime-sama.

“Yeah, I’m calling you! Look at me! STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING NOW!”

“Hero-sama, what could you be talking about?”

Hime-sama was startle, but she still keep composed. As expected of Hime-sama, she is calm no matter of the situation.

“Don’t you play dumb! TURN EVERYONE BACK TO NORMAL. YOU ARE TRYING TO CHARM THEM, RIGHT?”

“??!! No~ That’s not what I inten-”

I was really surprise of he said. And then I realized that all the heroes except him was under the effect of Hime-sama’s curse. He wasn’t effected by her curse, and he immediately knows that it was because of Hime-sama. However, he was mistaken. Hime-sama didn’t do it because she wants to. It was because of her curse. He must have thought that Hime-sama use charm to captivate his companion, so that’s why he was angry.

Hime-sama was trembling. She must have been surprise to see him noticing her like that. I must help her, I must clear this misunderstanding. I must apologize to him for it, and if he want to vent out his anger, then I will endure it. Even if I may die from him, but I’ll endure it. For the sake of my Hime-sama, I’ll do anything.

I run in between them as hero take his step toward Hime-sama. I pulled my sword before him and shouts-

“Hero-sama!! F-F-F-FIGHT ME!”

OH MY GOD!!!! I forgot that I wasn’t good in talking.

Changing Perspective --- Shu

So, how to deal with this? A girl in armor is pointing her sword to me. Is she that’s princess’s guard or something? It has to true, right? If not, then I don’t know how to explain this. She thought that I was going to harm the princess, and then she came to protect her. It’s simple.

HOWEVER!!! There are much better way to do this, right? Why did she come and declare a duel??!

Protecting the princess over of what I say, so I’m sure now the princess tried to charm everyone. If that was the case, shouldn’t you be coming and apologizing? I’ll accept it without a second thought and I’ll even forgive her. So don’t point that sword to me, it’s scary!

Arh, she lowers her sword. Did she finally understand that it was a misunderstanding? Is she going to sheath her sword now and apologize? That’s good. I’ll accept it! This Onii-san will accept it wholeheartedly.

“H-H-Hero-sama, please accept my- ”

“I ACCEPT!”

You don’t have to say anything. I understand, and I’ll forgive. Why? Because I’m a forgiving Onii-chan. No matter what, I’ll forgive. I won’t let angry and vengeance stay in me. Onii-chan must stay pure!

Suddenly she handed me her sword. Hmm? What’s wrong? Do you want me to check the sword? Do you want me to it? I take the sword, and swing it. It was pretty heavy, but I can handle it. I mostly practice swinging wooden sword with Amano-chan, so I kind of familiar with it.

“Ok with sword. Hero-sama”

Hmm? Is she trying to compliment me? If so, then I’ll reply back. I always welcome compliment.

“Yeah, I’m familiar with it.”

Saying that, she went back and then she took another sword from another guard. And then she stands before me holding sword. Hmm? Wait, why are you holding a sword? Why did you give me your sword?

“Shifun- please teach-”

And then, she raised her sword and dash to me.

HEY!!!! WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME?? DIDN’T I FORGIVE YOU ALREADY?!

She came close and swung. I got knocked out cold from a swing.

*Ting*

Due to receiving damage greater than your HP, it results in a one-hit KO. Since it was within a protection area, you will not receive any penalty. Your status will not decrease, and this ‘FAINT’ status will last for 9 hours.

There it is!!!!! I am really in a different world, am I?? And a game-like world like that!!!
