The One Moon Chapter 39

Duri and Moonhan fell asleep together. When morning came Moonhan was feeling a little better. Crying with Duri helped him with worries and stress. It helped make him feel lighter.

Moonhan nudged Duri to wake him up for breakfast.

“Duri, wake up. Let’s go eat.” Duri rubbed his eyes and sighed. He wanted to sleep more but knew Moonhan would be leaving for his recording soon and would come back late so he wanted to spend extra time with him and decided to wake up. When the two finished washing up, they met up with the members who were already awake to eat.

Today's breakfast was food that Lichen brought yesterday. He brought Kimchi Jiggae. A hot and spicy soup with tofu and Kimchi. It was one of Moonhan’s favorites. He had it often back when he lived at his older place. Lichen’s grandparent’s restaurant was the one he often went to and really was thankful for them. They helped feed him for free plus let him use their shower for free. He figured when he meets Lichen later to ask him to thank them for him.

Moonhan looked to his right and asked Duri what he thought of the taste.

“It is a little spicy…” said Duri

“Oh, do you need water?” responded Moonhan

“No, I can handle it,” he said. Even though his face and neck were turning red. Haru chuckled at this and thought it was cute. He got up and picked up some banana milk in the fridge and passed one to Duri, Moonhan and the rest of the members as he was getting milk for Duri anyway, he decided to get one for everyone.

Duri didn’t pick up the milk. “I said I could handle it…” He felt sad that the older gave him milk because he didn’t want to be seen as weak.

In fact, the soup was quite spicy. The members who couldn’t handle spice like Siwoo and Ren were already tearing up and jugging down the milk.

“Wow, Duri. You’re such a good eater. I’m dying here…” Ren said fanning himself.

“Yeah Duri, You should drink some milk. Even if you can handle it, you wouldn’t want to get sick right?” Siwoo worried for Duri.

Moonhan who heard what Siwoo said and picked up his milk and drank it.

“You should drink some milk too, Duri. Let’s not get sick,” said Moonhan

Duri nodded and drank his milk too. By the time they finished their meal, it was time for everyone to get to the recording. Duri was sad.

“Hyung…How long will it be this time?” He asked.

“I think it will take till evening… I’ll be back and we can go eat ice cream together again, okay?” Moonhan said.

“Ok…” He said his farewells to everyone and jumped on the sofa and watched tv.

Meanwhile, on the ride to the filming. Manager Seo was still worried about Moonhan.

“Hey, Moonhan, remember to not overwork yourself. Just practice calmly and slowly, okay?”

“Yes, Manager I will remember,” Han replied back.

Hearing this. Siwoo butt in.

“Yeah, Han. You better not exhaust yourself today.”

“I know. I know Siwoo. I’ll remember to take care” he responded

When they arrived, cameras were outside. Today, they were recording them getting out of the car again. Moonhan checked his clothes just in case to not be laughed at then went out.

Everyone stood next to each other and greeted.

“Hello, we are Swan Boys!” They said at the same time and entered the building. Instead of sitting with their group this time, they had to sit with their unit.

Moonhan walked toward where he sat next time and saw that Kenta was already there.

“Good morning, Kenta.” He said

“Oh yes, good morning,” Kenta said

“Are you okay? I heard that you went to the ambulance yesterday?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. It was just a small little incident. Don’t worry, it won’t interrupt our practice or anything.” Moonhan said.

“Yeah, okay. Just wanted to know if you’re okay”

“Thanks and by the way, how was the situation last night? I went to sleep with Duri earlier so I don’t know what happened after that. A lot of people were gathered in the dorm.’ Moonhan said.

“Oh, nothing much happened. After your whole situation with Duri, Lichen invited us to their restaurant and we ate there for dinner and then went back to the dorm. That was basically it.”

“I see, I see,” Han said.

Lichen and Minato arrived at around the same time and Miyu came out to the stage to host.
