《The horseman, death》Chapter 2

When I opened my eyes after getting sent to Fothel I saw a forest and everything around me was dead. Not only the plants which are now turning into dust but a few wolf carcasses too. I could immediately tell my powers have gotten stronger because the area that is effected grew and my powers weren't able to dissolve plants into dust so quickly. Then I noticed the others weren't with me. I looked around but I was the only one their. However I did feel something like string tied to my chest slightly pull me in 3 different directions.
Guess this tugging feeling leads to the others. War and Hunger should be okay but I wonder how Plague is handling this, I thought. I've noticed how Plague is kind of clingy to me and thought she might have some feelings for me. But since it is impossible for me to return those feelings I pushed the thought away.
That's when I noticed a a black cloak and a book with a paper on top at my feet. I bent down picked up the paper and noticed letters that were written with the colors of the rainbow.
To Death,
I have a secret job for you.
Unlike the others you are responsible for making sure souls depart to the astral plane or the afterlife. This book at your feet is the book of death and it tells you who is supposed to die when, where, and how. But be warned there is magic in this world that can tie down a soul keeping it from moving on. Not only is the magic powerful but you also have to go to the location of the magic personally and break it to free the soul. The cloak will help you with your powers until you can control them since you would probably cause a big disturbance killing everything near you.
Sincerely,
God
After finishing the letter it burst into flames and turned to ash. Huh I got something amazing. Is what I thought while I picked up the book. It was black and gave off a familiar feeling when I picked it up. It was kinda big and the pages were a little yellow. The front and back covers seemed to be made out of leather. When I opened it to the first page nothing was written. Then letters started to appear in what seemed like black ink. It seemed 75 people are to die today and god was right I knew when, how, and where. But I did not know how to tell if they die. Looking at these peoples locations the names are different while some are in the same place.
Death: It would be a waste of time if I have to go to each place just to see if someone died.
I then noticed the time of when the first person dies.
Death: Well I guess i'll find out how things work in 5 minutes.
I then took the cloak and put it on. It had a hood that could cover my face and it went down just below my knees. I soon noticed what god meant by this cloak being helpful. When I put it on the plant's stopped turning into dust but by now it was to late to save them. When I started walking the area of effect that usually surrounds me was non-existent. Nothing died when I was around them. So I started walking to no place specific waiting for the first person of the day to die.

Before time was up I noticed a lake not to far away from me and I started to walk to it. But before I reached it time was up. A person suddenly showed up in front of me. It was a young girl. She looked sad for some reason and was transparent. But she didn't disappear she just stayed in front of me. I knew she was the first one but I didn't know what to do. I looked through the book for the answer but all I got were the other names and blank pages. Still trying to figure out what to do I touched her hoping something would happen.
To my surprise something did happen. As soon as I touched her forehead she was enveloped in a bright light and before it consumed her she looked at me and smiled.
Death: Well I now know what to do but still this will be tough when multiple people die.
I then walked to the edge of the lake and looked at my reflection. I was still wearing the clothes from my world which were black jeans, a black shirt with some skulls on it, and boots. I seemed to have gotten so pale that it looks like i've seen a ghost, which I might real soon. But besides that everything was normal. So I started walking to find something to do to kill time. I looked at the book while I was walking and noticed that the first persons name was gone.
Death: Guess she moved on to the next life.
Then a pack of wolves jumped out of nowhere. There was 13 of them all black. Except one that seemed like the leader since he was bigger than the others. He had black and silver fur which some would think is beautiful. Than 5 wolves lunged at me trying to take my arms and legs. I was able to dodge 3 but the other 2 got me on my leg and shoulder. They immediately died when they broke the skin and that's when I noticed something.
While I could still see their heart beat and brains functioning I noticed what seemed to be a wolf the same shape leave the corpse. I looked around at the one's still alive which are now on alert wondering what I did. They each had a wolf just under their flesh which is hard to notice. Are these their souls? I wondered. Then a few more wolves jumped at me but this time I dodged them all and used my powers. Instead of my cells coming out it seems small gray balls is what appeared soaring towards the wolves. As soon as the ball touched them they died but the ball went right through the wolves and hit whatever was behind them, plants mostly some wolves, before it stopped and disappeared.
Death: So this is the power he gave me.
I then made a gray ball for every wolf and sent them to their targets. The wolves tried to dodge but I was able to change the balls direction so it made sure to hit. When all the wolves fell I took off my cloak to check for damages but only to find none. The cloak had no holes at all in it. I was sure that the wolves bit right through it into my flesh but the cloaks condition say's otherwise. I don't know how it's possible but I put it back on thinking i'll figure it out sooner or later. So I continued walking in no particular direction for a few hours. A few more people showed up but they weren't human. One was a muscular man with black wolf ears on his head and a look of anger. The other I guessed was a elf when I saw the long, pointy ears and condescending look. The last reminded me of a dwarf. He was small, hairy, and reeked of alcohol. Like the girl I touched their foreheads and they disappeared along with their names in the book.

I continued walking well into the night. Most of the names now gone a few still remained. I was trying to find shelter in case a storm showed up out of nowhere. While I was looking around I heard someone scream.
???: SOMEONE HELP! PLEASE!
I began to wonder what was going on so I walked towards the voice which seemed to be heading towards me. It kept getting louder and soon I got to the source. It was a girl 16-17 of age by the looks of it. She was being chased by 5 men in amour that covered their whole body. She was running right towards me but she didn't seem to notice me. I could see tears running down her face in the dark. I hid behind a tree not wanting to get involved and the girl soon passed by me. I don't know how she knew I was their but she turned her head and looked right at me.
Then she immediately ran towards me and and pushed me out in the open. She's using me as bait I thought. Then one of the guys in armor took out a crossbow from his back and shot me in the head. But they were in for a surprise as was the girl. Instead of falling down I simply reached up and took out the arrow that pierced through my skull. Everyone in the area was stunned to see this. A man that was shot right in the head simply pulled it out as if it was nothing.
Guy 1: WHAT IS HE?
Guy 2: WHO CARES WE HAVE TO GET THE GIRL!
They all took out large swords and charged. They pierced me through the chest and you could see the smiles on their face's. But those smiles turned into looks of horror when I looked at them. Then I summoned my powers and targeted them. All five died instantly with a look of horror on their faces. I started pulling out the swords one by one and heard a whining sound behind me. I turned and noticed the girl behind me on the ground. Seems like she collapsed and she to had that look of horror on her face like she saw the devil.
I didn't care about her and instead checked my book. That's when I noticed something odd. The names didn't disappear at all they stayed exactly where they were. I began wondering what is happening until I heard a voice.
Girl: E-excuse me.
I turned and looked at her which made her jump a little.
Me: What is it?
Girl: I-i was just wondering how you did that?
Me: I'd rather not tell that to someone who used me as bait.
She looked at me with a little fear in her eye's since I figured out what she did.
Girl: S-s-sorry about th-that.
Me: I don't really care.
I then started walking off but the girl spoke.
Girl:WAIT.
I turned and looked at her.
Me: What?
Girl: Please take me with you.
Me: No.
Girl: Please your strong maybe you can help me.
Me: Don't want to.
And I started walking off.
Girl: WAIT!!
She got up and ran at me. But just before she grabbed me I flicked her fore head and she fell to the ground.
Girl: OWWWWWW That hurt's.
I tried to walk away again but she grabbed my legs.
Girl: Please help i'll do anything. I'll even become your slave.
Hearing this I thought about it. Having someone who can teach me how this world works would be handy but still from the brief time we spent together she seems quite untrustworthy.
Me: What's your name?
Girl: My names Vicki, Vicki Thompson.
Hearing this I quickly took out my book and flipped it open. In it was the name Vicki Thompson who was supposed to die a minute ago.
Me: Excuse me but is this the northern wind forest?
Girl: Yes why do you ask.
Now i'm really confused. This girl standing in front of me should have died a minute ago.

The Shattered Circle
Aleyr Frostborn has survived a hundred prophecies of her defeat, breaking each one by slaying the champions of light sent to kill her. Amongst the forces of good, her very name is a curse, and with good reason. Beyond her own evil, it is said that so long as she lives, the reign of the Godslayer himself will last: the lich king who the terrified masses call the King in Black. While the kingdoms and empires that surround the blighted lands of the undead lands struggle to survive and beat back the tide of evil, the machinations of the Eternal Kingdom's dark court barely contain the bitter struggles for power between the forces that have made it what it is. With one foretold hero brutally snuffed out, another will inevitably arise. For Aleyr, the cycle only further embitters her towards the gods of good and all those who serve them. But the truth is that her downfall might be something much closer to home than their prophecies, those last dregs of mortality beating inside her own chest. With a thoughtless intersection between cruelty and mercy, she begins a chain of events that threatens to tear the Eternal Kingdom and her own loyalties into shreds. After all, many things can be broken, not just prophecies.
