《Infinite Wishes》Demon Hunting 3

The three kids were having a panic attack, and were sweating to the point that they were making a homemade pool right under them, but the pool was not just made up of sweat, but another liquid, let’s just say it was chlorine. Casey was balling her eyes out, while Luna was hugging her in order to protect her, as for Rob, he looked like he wanted to run away bit was unable to move due to the sheer pressure the demon gave off. I walk over to Luna and pat her head to praise her for getting her emotions under control in a situation like this.
“Good job, I will take it from here.” I assure their safety with a smile.
“Wait Kei-”, using Darkness magic, I put pure fear and bloodlust into the demons head, my pupil changes shape and my eyes turn bright red, similar yet different to the demons. A large wave of black mist pours out from the soles of my shows until it reaches the demon in no time. Using Chorons magic and stopping time, I go up to the demon and launch him in the air with a kick to the stomach, I could have killed him right there but I wanted to test out a few things. Time unfroze as the demon was launched, a summon black chains from the mist and bind him in the air. With my final test, I use fire magic like before, but this time with an extreme amount of mana and condense it as much as I can into a ball of pure white light, instead of throwing it, it open up a small hole in the other end of the ball of heat, in the opposite direction of my palm, causing the fire to burst out like a beam from an anime I watched. The beam of light went through the demon and into the clouds in a matter of milliseconds, going faster than the speed of light and disrupting the noise vibrations around us like crazy, I cannot describe the noise that well, but it was like the sound of a bee’s buzzing, but one hundred times deeper. The reason I launched him into the air was that I do not burn the forest, and since this went past the clouds, it would probably destroy many buildings too. I disable my darkness magic and look back if the others are safe, and they were, I think, their jaws were dropped to the floor which was humanly impossible, did one of my spells cause their jaws to deform? I was wrong, since in a few minutes of rest, they came back to life and their jaws reconnected to them, I wanted to say that when they jaws were on the floor, many things went inside, but I did not get a chance.

Checkpoint
as an anomaly sweeps the world, many gain strange abilities. as for Mal, the power makes it so they cannot die, or more accurately, they get sent back in time to the last place they were safe at. A power that seems like a blessing until you’re crushed under rubble, drowned in sewage, shot, stabbed, all while having the royalties to feel all the pain from such fates. And to put the icing on the cake, a strange message appeared before everyone’s eyes stating that unless someone breaks down the gate within 17 years, everyone will die”. now Mal needs to find a way to “break down the gate” (whatever the hell that means) or they will be forced to die and revive, only to die again for the rest of time. Which would suck, probably. /————————————————— this is technically a time loop novel. the MC is chaotic neutral with a worryingly lack of care about how their actions affect people. i want to interact with my readers so give critique and suggestions. I will sometimes host polls for the personality for new characters, story decisions, and the ability to cancel annoying characters, besides Mal, if they get enough complaints. I am also impatient and will end decision polls when I want to write more. If no one votes, I choose, so don’t let that happen. if you’re want world building check out hitchhikers guide to checkpoint (an encyclopedia of what I made up with lots more explanation)

Provided for your viewing pleasure by Delvers Inc. Disclaimer: I am writing this series as a hobby. It is something that has been inside my head for a while and have wanted to do this for a while. 8 90Conquest of Avalon
Revenge. The Kingdom of Avalon swept across the Empire of the Fox a generation past, conquering the heartlands and leaving the broken remnants to stew in the island duchy of Guerron. This isn't a story of Good versus Evil, of kindly kings doing their best to lift all subjects, or of unvarnished heroes doing battle against evil. Instead, this story is about power: who has it, who wants it, and what people will do to obtain it. It is about the violence inherent in the imperial project and how even the most well-intentioned rulers and conquerors are, still, engaging in systemic violence against those conquered and defeated. Our three point-of-view characters are a peasant turned fire wizard, an excitable duelist with more enthusiasm than sense, and a scheming mage-priestess bent on reclaiming her family's birthright and waging war on the foreign oppressors who rule her home... no matter the cost in blood or treasure.
8 157A Tyrant: Unshackled
A man once lived in a modern world, surrounded by the tragedy of humans, he was despaired. He did his best to ignore it. Did his best to hide in the safety of his own circumstances. But eventually the tragedy reached him. And when it did... it left a broken man, who was tired of the world and it's circumstances. He took things into his own hands. He would change the world. But this story isn't about that. For after all was done, the man dying peacefully on his own terms, he would have a new life ahead of him. Now unbound by attatchments and responsibility, in a completely new world for him to explore, he would make sure his new life didn't end up like the last one. This fiction won't be updated regularly due to my own circumstances and while I will try to update it often, I won't always be able to. That being said I hope you enjoy this little work of mine. I'm not an experienced, and don't consider myself a good author in any way. But hopefully some people will enjoy this fiction like I do writing it, regardless of that.
