《Infinite Wishes》Demon Hunting 2

We arrive at the group, with Casey and Rob already there and ready to go. Rob, from the Fire magic class, looked to be extremely uncomfortable and angry for some reason. He had slick back black hair, gold earrings, a dominant face and looked really well dressed (even in the school’s uniform).
“Tch, why are the top students a bunch of commoners.”, ugh, he was another one of them, but he seems to different, as in more confident and upright, he had the real look of a noble man.
“But Kei-”
“Hey let’s all be friends! We are in the same group after all!” Luna did her best to cut Casey off on purpose, explaining to her afterwards the reason.
“I have no time to be friendly to a bunch of noones of society, just stay out of my way and do not be a burden, weaklings.”, he said that before he even witnessed our strength, confident that since we were ‘commoners’ we would be weak.
“Hahaha, don’t worry, we won't be bothersome.” I said. Afterwards, we were dismissed to our own sections of the forest, the teacher guided us to our destination and left.
“So this is our battlefield?”, asked Casey.
“Yep, get ready, their coming from all directions.”
“You can tell Keith?”
“Yea”, I can sense demons as they give off a large amount of bloodlust towards us.
As soon as I said this, a pack of wolves with fully red eyes and no pupil shows up and surrounds us in a circle.
“There are 24 of them, be careful and stick together.”, Luna and Casey were really frightened, Rob on the other hand was sweating, but was still composed, or at least was trying his best to be. Rob was the first to start, launching rounds of fire in the shape of spears towards the wolves, with great success. This caused him to gain a heap load of confidence again, and started to enjoy it. We just watched him has he had his fun until he killed all the wolves by himself. I was too lazy and the girls were too scared to do anything, so he took care of everything for us. Rob looked back at us behind him, and smirked with an evil smile.

“Useless. I knew commoners can’t be that strong, the teachers must have made a mistake. Stay behind so you do not get in my way.”
“Sigh… Casey, Luna, remember that both of you are strong, protecting yourself should be easy, so do not be afraid of these low level demons.”, I try to reassure them in order to give Rob a taste of his own medicine.
“But you did not do anything too”, this hurt.
“Uhh, I was analyzing! Yea analyzing. Don’t worry.”, the girls realise that they were the strongest four students for a reason, and nodded with conviction.
We follow a certain path, in order to make out way to the end of the forest, while meeting up with multiple demons in the way. Both Luna and Casey assist Rob in exterminating the demons, he was starting to get restless and was confused as to how these girls were this strong, both of them were just as strong as Rob in general magic strength, and could rival him anytime. This was getting Rob angry, to the point that the spells he was using afterwards had more mana into them, causing more damage around, but this also meant he was running out of magic, and quickly, you can tell from his expression that he was about to be wasted like a sore loser. I on the other hand was still observing and analyzing the situation, trust me, I really was. We finish with our… I think 16th round of demons, there were way too many demons are, just where do they come from? I also noticed that every time we kill a monster, the monster would shine into disappearance, while some of that shine enters the killer, as if it was something like ‘EXP’.
“Everyone, please evacuate the forest immediately from the way you came from. All 6th year students will now take over, the test is now terminated, a high level demon has been spotted in the forest.”, this was a test? Also a high level demon? I thought this place was just home to low level ones, and rarely a few mid level demons.

“How do we get back, the path we were taking stops at a certain point”, asked Luna
“Let’s at least go back until there to be safe.”, I answered. It was better to stay away as far as possible. A black, vaguely human shaped figure stopped us in our tracks, it looked as if you drew an outline of a human, then took a black marker and scribbled it all over the place in order to fill in the outline. But it had one glowing, and large, red eye, I can automatically tell that this was the high level demon, just out luck.
