“Just get on to it already”, the male professor was restless to find out exactly how talented his idol’s son is.

“Ehem. the last affinity is called Chronos Magic, apparently it holds the ability to manipulate time itself.”

“What?”, the principal's jaw dropped to the ground, and the male professor was stumbling all over the place as if he was drunk.

“Give me that.”, the principle forced the research results out of Kate’s hand and took a good look at it, his eyes were bloodshot red.

“As for the known skills…”, kate continued, ignoring the fact that her boss just rudely ripped away her paper.

“Freezing or slowing down time.”, well fellas, good game… good game indeed. Kate was right, there is no way I can lose a fight with this, it's possible that it uses a crazy amount of mana, but I have almost an unlimited amount of it. I can easily stop time, and use a barrage of spells, or just simple go up to my enemy and shank them in the arse or whatever. I just thought about what I had just said, about using a barrage of spells, this made me realise, I don’t really have any affinity that is really considered ‘offensive’, it is just ‘cool’ or ‘defensive’. But I am still able to use lightning magic… somehow.”

“Kate… I understand how all these work, how exactly am I able to use lightning magic if I do not have an affinity for it?”

“Sure”, I hold out my hand and use the lightning magic which I have been learning for a few months now, I stick out my hand in the shape of a finger gun and summon a python of lightning out of my index finger, causing it to fully obliterate the dummy in ashes.

“...” they were all silent again.

“That was lightning magic right?”, Kate was confused.

“Yes, that was a unique spell, but it was certainly a lightning spell.”

“...”, they seem to stop to think quite a lot.

“Are you sure there was no lightning affinity in the orb”

“I am certain sir, I caught everything there was to be caught, no sign of lightning spells.”

“I see… then it is possible that the lightning spell is affiliated with one of the two missing affinites.”, that’s right, he could be true.

“Try to use a spell other then lightning magic.”

“Like?”

“Uhh, fire?”

“Same step as to how you use lightning magic, but try to turn your image of that into pure heat.” I did as I was told, but image of a normal fire was hard to stabilize as it changes shape way too often, so I do things differently. A sharp pillar of flame, that looked exactly like the flame coming out from a gas lighter came out, except multiple times longer. The flame was just a bit condensed so it doesn’t fly all over the place, but I seem to have mistaken the size. The pillar of flame quickly scorched through the ceiling, which summoned a choire of screams from the upper floor.

“Ugh, there is a classroom right above this one.”, panicking, I move my hand to face the left instead of just cutting off my mana flow, causing it to scorch through the wall to the left, and summoning the second choire to join in and scream in harmony.

“Cut it cut it!” the principle was having a panic attack, I try my best to cut my mana flow and eventually was successful.

“Sigh… Kate, please go check on the upstairs classroom, and John, go check the classroom right by us, if anyone is hurt.
