Today was just another day were the teacher brags about how awesome lightning magic is. I start to question myself if this class is even any good. In the past few weeks, I noticed that many of the male students have started to eye Luna, and not in a bad way, in an admiritive way. As male students only make up twenty percent of the magic combat academy’s student population, they still all choose to pick one girl .Although at the same time, the male students were eyeing me down every time I got close to her. Luna still has not actually made any female friends, in fact she said to me that the girls were a lot harder to get along with then the guys. This is not how it usually is so I have been paying close attention to Luna since then, until they started to act. As class ends, and Luna leaves to the washroom, I notice four girls tailing behind her. I could be wrong and they were just a group of friends that were headed the same way, but they were not talking to each other a lot, maintaining a serious face, and have been looking deeply towards Luna the whole time. This was more than enough evidence. I was wondering why they started to hold a grudge against Luna, but immediately realised that this was going to happen to her sooner or later. Luna was the most beautiful girl in the class, as well as the most respectable and strongest when it came to Lightning control. All the guys admired her, while the girls that were left out and ignored, hated her for every single reason I stated just now. This was the first time I would encounter bullying in this world, this got me pretty excited, even knowing I wouldn’t allow them to bully Luna, also ignoring the fact that I am over familiar with bullying, as a victim…

Luna was in front, the girls were about 4 meters behind her, and I was about 4 meters behind the girls. At first, my plan was to wait for the girls to start bullying Luna (before they actually hit her) and jump between them like a hero, but I think it is best for her if she is never exposed to bullying in the first place, so I go to plan B. I jog up past the four girls as if I was merely trying to get to my destination as quick as possible.

“Hey Keith, where do you think your going?”, for some reason they stopped to question me, they seem to be extremely wary, especially of me, as I am Luna best friend here. I do my best to ignore them.

“Oh don’t mind me.”, I say with a very fake smile. I run over to Luna’s side.

“Hey Luna.”

“Oh hey Keith, whats up. Make it quick cause I need to get to the bathroom quick.”

“It's really important, the teacher wants you right now, she said it won't take long, can you last?”, obviously this was a lie. Luna looks at the bathroom doors, but as a commoner student, she couldn’t really disobey the staff here.

“Alright, lead the way”, the girls behind us clicked their tongues, as they heard everything, meaning they lost their chance to try and put Luna in her place. I lead Luna to another part of the building near by, I did not have to go far since the girls gave up already.

“Here, you can use this washroom instead.”

“Hm? I need to meet with the teacher though.”

“I was just lying, there are many rumors that the washroom you were about to go through is haunted, and many were abused.”

“I don’t believe in ghosts, so its fine. But thanks for worrying about me anyways.”

“No problem. Also be very wary towards the female students here, most of them are evil trouble makers, they seem to be going after you next.”

“Oh is that so, alright, thanks again, I need to go before I explode.”, she then runs off into one of the forbidden lands from men.
