《Battlefront》33-application

Pragna took that application, read through the contents. It is just a plain application for some library called lazy man’s library. He read the book about the lazy man’s library. It described,
The battlefront’s most famous library! As long as you can pay the price you can find the information you want here. But once in a while the library owner will conduct recruitment for junior librarians. All the junior librarians who worked here have become true powerhouses! Library also offers membership by…
Rest did not interest him much, but the information part! Pragna knew someone is helping him to reach this place and they are not holding back when it came to the extravagant way they are doing it. But right now he did not care what the consequences are, but he has to reach this place if he ever wants find information about himself.
Pragna rang the bell for Bie.
“Yes sir, what can I do for you?”
Pragna told him, “Bie after going to Agarthala, drop me at Lazy man’s library.”
Bie told him, “Sir we need permission to do that. Irrespective of anyone’s status no one is allowed to fly above the library’s property. You are allowed to drive on land near the library, but at very low speed. ”
Pragna then said with little bit of panic, “But I have an application letter for junior librarian. The dead line is 3 days from now. With the estimation you gave me, it will still take 4 days to reach there. Bie if you help me reach on time I WILL pay you back!”
There is no transmission from Bie for few seconds and then he said, “You have an application to library?”
Pragna replied, ”Yes.”
“Sir forgive my directness but are you sure it is an application not a token for the entrance exam?”
Pragna replied back , ”No it is clearly mentioned that if I want this position I should report to the library before 5th day of the 7 month of Agarthala. I have checked the calendar in the room. Today is 2nd morning, so tell me Bie can you do it or not?”

Bie could not believe his luck! He heard many legendary stories about library. It does not matter who it is but if you want to meet the owner of the library you have to book an appointment to meet him! Some of the people he made wait for him or not some average Joes, just by pointing their fingers they can command armies to wipe-out worlds, in matter of minutes! But in-front him they have to wait like a blue collar citizen.
Once in a while he hires people to work in his library. All of them who worked here became powerful to be rulers of their own domain!
So many influential groups tried to figure out the criteria bases for the selection process, but no one could figure it out except for one fact. All of the selected candidates are interesting, or to be more specific, weird/obsessive.
Now Bie is interacting with the would-be employee of the library! He may not be a powerful individual now, but after he is done with the library’s employment it is a given that he will become influential. Bie knew that if he curried a favour now with this man, in future he will be paid in abundance.
Bie then said, ”Sir you just relax. We will reach there in time.”
To move this carriage you need lot of high mana stones. But that only powers it. To drive it you need to insert your conscious into the machine. Bie knew that if tried to reach the Agarthala in 3days he will exceed the limit given by the company and he personally has to dip into his funding. But that is not all, after he uses his conscious without a break for 3days it will take him at-least 10 days to fully recover and only after 10 days will he be fit to drive the carriage again.
But Bie knew that this is a golden opportunity and he has to en-cash it!
Pragna saw the screen display and that carriage is accelerating. Pragna knew that there is no point in worrying about it anymore so he decided to concentrate on something that has been bugging him.

It is about the dual nature of life and death that system mentioned. It said that Pragna only understood little about death attribute. But to be honest, Pragna did not understand much about death. He killed a lot of creatures. But does that it means he understands about death?
Ok if system goes by that logic then Pragna knows healing flame skill, so he should also have life attribute. But he does not.
As Pragna thought about it, he had a nagging feeling that it has something to with the spirit weapon he acquired. Though he acquired the death attribute after being doused in Lamath’s flames, Pragna felt that he satisfied the requirements to acquire the death attribute only after he acquired the spirit weapon. Those flames only accelerated the process of acquiring the death attribute. Why does Pragna think this theory is right? He obtained the spirit weapon after James agreed to become his contracted weapon, the James who has Death attribute. He killed many dragons and ate them which had death attribute. Yet only after acquiring a soul which has death attribute did he acquire that attribute.
So Pragna has to acquire a soul weapon of life attribute to confirm theory. But Pragna knew how tough it is to acquire. He acquired his soul weapon by pure coincidence. But to acquire another one again! Pragna sighed.
Pragna then decided to meditate for the rest of journey.
After 3 days Pragna heard a weak voice, “Sir we are here.”
Pragna opened his eyes and checked the calendar. They are on time. HE came out the buggy. After he came out and saw his surroundings Pragna immediately understood why Bie called the previous location back water town.
There were well laid roads where ever he looked. The designs of the buildings here were so extravagant that the towering citadels he saw previously, relatively looked like dilapidated houses!
In the sky there are carriages that were size of palaces flying like it is a normal occurrence in Agarthala!
As Pragna is admiring his surroundings, he heard a voice, ”Um , sir.”
Pragna found Bie weakly leaning against the carriage. Looking at him, Pragna knew that Bie went over his limits to reach the destination.
Pragna said, ”Thank you Bie! Tell me how much should I pay?”
Bie laughed weakly and said, “No need sir. I have been already paid. Sir if you need my services in the future, here is my contact.” He took out a White rectangle stone plate, which has the words, ‘Bie- express carriage, cloud services’ carved into it.
“Sir, use this to call me and also please refer me if anyone needs transport carriages.”
Pragna smiled and said, “Sure.”
Bie knew that he did his part and can only wait for the good fortune. Before Bie left he pointed to a certain direction and said, “Sir if you go along this path, you will the reach the library.”
As Pragna moved along the path he saw a large entrance to an estate. The gate has a arch with title called Lazy man’s library. Till here now he saw lot of flying vehicles, but every one of them went around the estate rather than fly over it. The estate must at-least 3 square kilometres. With large trees laid on both sides, a path is visible to a large building in the middle of estate. The building is quite lacking in decorations when compared to buildings he saw outside, but it is quite large. As he entered the parameters of library, he heard notification
Welcome to the Lazy man’s library.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
