Pragna checked the book’s front and back to see the author’s name. After the index he found a note by the author with pen name Traveller.

I have travelled a lot in the battlefront’s realms. All I can say is that I may have covered only 20% of it! I wrote this book in hope that fellow travellers will not face same problems as me.

Pragna could not find any more clues. Only 30% of book is bibliography, rest is maps. Maps of different realms this author travelled. Before the maps section there is a 20 page instruction pages telling the user how to use them. Pragna decided to check that section later. He went back to first chapter.

As I said before battlefront is huge beyond belief. So rather than talk about each realm in depth I tried to categorize them into different groups. After that I gave a basic description on each realm. If you want my in depth exploration of individual realms, you can check my other works. So coming back to the point, different categories of realms-

Lower mortal realms-

All this realms have one particular property; there is no window display system here! When I first came to one of the lower mortal realms, I came by accident. I was afraid that I have ended up in void. But after checking around, I found that there are signs of life in this realm. After travelling towards that sign I found a planet. I disguised myself and stayed there for a long time. After studying their culture I found many interesting features about them. But the most interesting feature is that no knows how manipulate the mana! There is mana in the air but it seems no one discovered it yet. There are some creatures on this planet that are sensitive to mana, but that is as far as it goes. After this discovery I wanted to manipulate mana on this planet and see what happens. As I started gathering mana, I got a notification saying that if I use mana here, the inactive system will be integrated with the main system and the realm will updated into elder god’s system. I was really surprised back then! I immediately stopped gathering mana. I knew that if I go any further I will change the very nature of this realm. Before that I wanted to collect as much information as possible. It seems that in these realms there are no immortals.

Death seems to be the final destination of every sentient creature here. After satiating their basic needs almost every intelligent creature here faces one existential problem, what is my purpose?

Surprisingly many of them came to a conclusion that higher beings placed them here for a purpose and the only way to know their purpose is to communicate with them. I travelled to many of the shrines they built for these gods. Surprisingly some of this god’s statues had close resemblance to the famous primordials! After checking around the common folklore I found that this concepts of gods always existed. After that I could not find any more information. After staying here for 100years I started noticing rapid development in the technology. But I discovered that I am partially responsible for this situation. When I originally came to this planet I lived as a smith. I used a technique with which some metals can be further purified to their higher quality. I realized my mistake after-words, and never used that technique again. But one of the fellow smiths recorded it in books. After hundred years they further researched it to create even more durable metal alloys. I knew that if i stay here any long I will become part this planet’s destiny. Luckily I had a major realm portal with me. So I left that realm. In my entire expeditions, i have visited more than a 10,567 realms. But out of all of them I was lucky to visit only three lower mortal realms.

As Pragna read the initial description of lower mortal realm, he had a feeling that he is from one of the lower mortal realms. But he cannot confirm it without further evidence. As he further read the book that there are 6 more categories of realms. There is mortal realm, immortal realms, private realms, elemental realms, major realms and lastly void.

The example of a mortal realm is 12 fire islands. In this realm you can see the window display system. Magic exists here. Though life span of many creatures here is much higher, they are still mortal. But once in a while for every few 1000yrs or so one creature will be set on path of immortality. But that does not guarantee its immortality.

Next is the immortal realm. The immortal realm as stated is the home of immortals. Why? After becoming immortals, every creature urges for soul strength. To attain it you need to strengthen your soul. This realm seems to offer that. After that Pragna could not find much information about it.

Then he came to elemental realms. Fire realm, wind realm, water realm and earth realm all combined together are called elementary realms. Pragna found certain passage interesting when reading about it,

After void many people assume private realms are the most dangerous places to visit. But in my opinion private realms are not that dangerous. As long as you have proper preparations you can pass through them. But in elementary realms all those mean nothing. Off course having powerful backers will definitely help you, but it is better to be careful. Though elementary realms may have lot of internal struggles, but when they are attacked by an outside force they are more united than anyone! If you do not want to become next Taurus king please be careful when you are visiting the elementary realms. Though they offer the most secure portals I advise to use them under very urgent situations.

Though that was bit ominous description, Pragna knew that in future he has to visit the fire realm at-least once. So he decided to get a book for further details.

He went to the private realms sections. It seems these realms either belong to primordials or they are unexplored realms. Not much information is provided on it, saying something about privacy issues or what not. It only said that you need lot of permissions to pass through them.

After that he read about Major realms. It seems major realms are the destination for every being that wishes for better life. If anyone wants something it can be found in major realms. There are many different major realms. Anyone can enter the major realms as long as they have right resources. As the author is talking about major realms, he made an important point.

Though a major world portal gate costs more than 10 star rocks, I advise fellow travellers to purchase it. Of course I know 10 star mana stones is something not anyone could afford, but nothing is more important that your own life. As long as you have a major world portal gate you can teleport to that major world from anywhere! Even from outskirts of void you can return back!

Pragna wanted to check about this star rocks. He found it under currency section.

After travelling a lot I found lot of currency forms. Some use food, some use metals and stones, some use artefacts and some even use souls. But among all these, two set of currencies are used in many places. One the major realm’s currency system and the other elemental realm’s currency system.

Most major realms use the mana stones as currency. One mana stone is the basic denomination.

One mana stone- one mana stone

High mana stone-100 mana stones

Higher mana stone-1000 mana stones

Meteor mana stone- 10,000 mana stones

Up-to here you can find these currency anywhere in the major realms. If you have meteor mana stones, you can have a comfortable journey in these realms. But there are still higher denominations of currencies in mana stone system.

Planet mana stone- 1 million mana stones

Moon mana stone- 10 million mana stones

Sun mana stone-100 million mana stones

Star mana stone- 1 billion mana stones

Imperial Moon mana stone- market value cannot ascertain it.

Imperial Sun mana stone- market value cannot ascertain it.

Now coming to Elementary realm’s currency system. Though it is called Elemental realm currency, this is not used in elementary realms; rather elementals use them in exchange with other realms denizens. This currency is nothing but permission tokens on how longer you can stay in elementary realms. Basic denomination is one elemental token. For example if you have one wind token, you can stay in wind elemental realm for one hour.

One elemental token- one elemental token

Day elemental token- 25 elemental tokens

Month elemental token- 500 elemental tokens

Year elemental token- 7500 elemental tokens

Decade elemental token- 1, 00,000 elemental tokens

Century elemental token- 10 million elemental tokens

Royal elemental token- indefinite stay

Though many consider the royal elemental tokens as valuable as imperial sun and moon mana stones, there is actually one more currency denomination above this. It is called void coins. If even have one void coin, you can stay in any elemental realm how long as you want. You can even use it, to travel the closed of portals in elementary realms!

Pragna slightly whistled when he heard about the currency denominations. After killing Lamath he took her dimensional ring. Inside he found a mirror called dimensional portal gate. He did not understand how valuable it is till now! Pragna felt happy that at-least he has something valuable to sell. Because worst case Scenario, after reaching Agarthala he may have to pay exorbitant prize to get information about himself.

Finally he started reading about void.

Void exists at the very end of battlefront reality. In this place even primordials can get lost. So not much is known about this place. My next destination is void. You can read about my work on void realm in future, if I ever get the chance.

Pragna read the book without break for some time. Afterwards he started looking at the maps.

After what seemed to be many hours he got bored about this book and laid it down on the table. He took the other thin book. This one is called, TOURIST GUIDE TO AGARTHALA.

As he looked through the book, He found that book described about various sight-seeing places, various shops, etc. As he went through the book he found a letter folded at a title page of the book called LAZY MAN’S LIBRARY. He took the paper. It is a application form for, ’junior librarian’.
