Pragna started making his way to the next village. This village is considerably bigger than the last two. Also he noticed that the populace of this village is more than 500 dragons. He checked information on formation novice, but system said incomplete information. Compared to the previous two humanoid dragons, these five’s level is much lower. But quality wise he knew that his present opponents are of much higher standards. Yet sadly for them, three are fire mages. Pragna just waited till it was night to attack them. When he attacked the village at night it went smoothly at beginning. First he used fire soul domination to absorb the heat from the dragons. Then his fire spirits started absorbing them and started leveling up. He came near the humanoid dragons. But as though they have practiced it for many times, instead of attacking him individually all five of them ran to the weird symbol pattern that was set up at the centre of the village. Three of the fire mages stood at the three corners facing Pragna, while the other two sat in between this three. Before Pragna could even launch his attacks, a transparent dome is formed surrounding this five. After that something interesting happened. Pragna continuously attacked for the shield for 1hour, from all the sides while flying around it. Yet he could not break the shield! For some reason all his attacks got absorbed by the shield, but the three fire mages are able to send their attacks at him from inside the dome. At beginning he did not notice, but as time progressed their attacks became more powerful. Pragna did not understand how they are doing it in the beginning. But as time progressed he understood how they are doing it. They are somehow are storing up his flames and are using it to attack against him! He is sure that this being done by those two formation novices and he is also sure that they are using that weird pattern on the ground to do it. A smile appeared on Pragna’s face. When the five of them saw that smile all of their hearts went cold! They know that smile. All of them gave that smile when they cornered their prey. But they never thought they would be at the receiving end of it one day! Pragna flew down near them and stared at them. For first few seconds nothing happened! Those humanoid dragons thought maybe he is bluffing, but the ground they are standing on suddenly caved in and lava started shooting upwards at high speed! Both of the formation novices died on spot. As on queue shield broke down. Rest of the three, fire mages though survived this attack they are severely damaged. While staring at them nonchalantly, Pragna created a huge 5 metre wide arching flame blade and threw it at them………….

After killing the entire populace of the village the total number of the fire spirits increased to 17, while the rest 9 were only falling short by few levels. Well considering how many dragons were killed today it was not surprising. Then he checked the lava dwarfs. Even all of them reached lvl 8. He felt that it is weird that all of lava dwarfs reached the same lvl. But at least he is happy that this time he is able to level them up. Last time when he attacked they were running behind him since he could not absorb them inside himself. So by the time lava dwarfs reached the village, fire spirits more or less finished devouring the dragons. While thinking that, his attention fell on the neatly humanoid dragons on the ground. When he was about to use his lava manipulation skill, he saw one the humanoid dragons crushing something. Nothing happened after it crushed that unknown thing. Pragna thought about some possibilities. Best case scenario is that, humanoid dragon tried a magic technique and failed. Worst case scenario……………it was some kind communication device and it is used to summon stronger enemies!

After thinking about it he started looting their bodies fast. He took everything from their bodies including clothes and then stared at the corpses of humanoid creatures with a contemplative gaze. This is not the gaze of a predator! No, this is a gaze of an artist who is trying to figure out how to create his next piece of art with interesting materials.
