Chapter 33: Is this the first stop!?
Claire and I sleepily board the plane that had been prepared for the students. The rest of the students groan at the fact that they weren’t travelling first class, but I was happy that I didn’t have to sit in the cramped seats of economy class.
Why is everyone moving at a snail’s pace onto the plane? Simple. It’s 3 am. That’s why.
The teachers came into the dorm building with a master key and came into the students rooms. If they didn’t wake up quickly, they would pour cold water on the students.
I think there might even be a student who never even bothered to get dressed. I don’t blame them though, I was thinking of doing the same thing.
Claire asked me not to though, so not much I can do about it.
“So… you happy to be able to face each other on the plane?” I look the sleepy Claire as we are guided to our seats that have clearly been moved to customize the passenger’s experience.
“Too tired… sleep… needed.” Claire falls face first into the chair almost not having the energy to move around.
As the plane starts lifting up to cruising altitude, Claire and I fall asleep. To be fair, ninety percent of everyone on the plane also started to sleep.
……
…
I never really had the time to look around while I was awake, but this is a really fancy atmosphere, despite the complaining rich kids.
There were four seats around a table. Claire and I were sitting across each other. It was arranged so that two chairs were on either side of the table.
“Logan, the views are amazing.” Claire stares out the window happily.
“Yeah.” I look at the ground below and the scattered clouds that were beneath us. It was a beautiful day for a roughly seven hour flight. “You’ve probably travelled a lot in planes, so why are you so mesmerized now?”
“I just love the views no matter how many times I see them.” Claire smiles as she continues to look out the window.
“I see. Now what should we do? We still have several hours to pass by on this flight.”
Claire looks to me. Stands up and sits together with me in the chair. They were quite large chairs, and even the armrests were padded, so it wasn’t uncomfortable with two people.
“We can sit together like this and do things.” Claire leans her head on my shoulder while continuing to look out the window as it was conveniently on my left.
It makes me wonder, how much of the things that go on, are planned, and how many are just pure coincidence?
“Logan?” Claire looks at me with a confused expression.
“Yes Claire?” I smile at Claire.
“Want to watch a romantic movie together?”
“Well… should we really be sitting like this in a plane? To me, it is just asking for an accident to happen.”
“It doesn’t matter. I trust these pilots and have never had any issues during a flight. These pilots were picked carefully by father. So there is no need for me to stay apart from you except for take-off and landing.” Claire happily smiles as she grabs a laptop and boots it up.

“I’m glad then… but do we seriously have to watch a romance movie? I don’t find them too entertaining.” I sigh as Claire logs in to the laptop.
“Don’t worry, I don’t really plan to watch the movie, the laptop is more so to hide us from others so we can do what we want.” Claire mischievously smiles as she kisses me.
It is true though. The laptop is not too large of a model, it’s just that the way everything is set up, there are also curtains that can be pulled around every section in order to get more ‘privacy’, or so they said.
“This one hates to interrupt… but would like for the two of you to note that this one and Amy are still here, so I declare.”
I did say there were four seats right? Saunderson was previously sitting beside me, but had moved to sit beside Amy when Claire moved to sit with me.
“You two… seriously. There is supposedly only a short phase called the honeymoon phase… when is that going to end… actually, it might never end…” Amy’s head starts to sink as she comes to a sudden realization.
“This one would like to comfort you Amy… so I declare…” Saunderson nervously holds out his hand.
My god this is horribly embarrassing. Saunderson is taking my advice to point, but the execution is just horrible. He has no way of telling the appropriate time place or occasion. Well… Amy doesn’t really have that common sense either… so I guess it all works out in the end… I guess.
“Don’t worry about them Logan, let’s just keep doing what we were doing.”
“Ah, I don’t even care anymore!” I just give up trying to reason with these people with almost no sense of rationality. Not to say that I am any better though.
……
…
“Attention passengers, we request that you return to your designated seating as we will be beginning the descent shortly.” The voice of a friendly sounding pilot resounds through the plane as everyone goes back to their seats.
Claire unhappily goes back to her seat. As she leaves a let out a quick sigh. Claire is really forwards, but never lets me do anything. It is getting to the point where I am about to just give up on holding back.
“Say, Logan. What’s the first thing on the itinerary?” Claire looks to me as she had left her things on my side. I open my carry on and grab out a small pamphlet.
“After we land we are going to walk a short distance to the hotel we will be staying at. The information on the hotel says that it is a 4 and a half star rating… sounds too fancy for me…” I frown as I look at the pamphlet… wow… everything is way too fancy… nothing is below the star rating for the hotel. Makes me wonder how much this whole trip would cost if I would have come with just Claire and myself.
“How many people per room?” Claire tries to look at the paper, but can’t as she has already buckled in and the plane has started its descent.

“I don’t know. I will check after we land.” I put the paper into my bag and put the bag underneath my seat and lean back in the chair.
I wonder what monstrous mishaps will occur to me during this ‘vacation’
……
…
“Orderly line maggots!” Ms. Mason shouts as the people are organized by first class for a head count.
Claire complained, but when she remembered that my first class teacher was Ms. Mason she obediently went to her first class’s group.
After the head count we started to walk in whatever groups we wanted, still unsure of how many people would be put in the rooms. Claire really wants it to just be two people, Amy wants it to be for four people so she doesn’t end up in a room alone with Saunderson. I personally couldn’t care less either way.
“So Logan… how’s your arm?” Claire nervously asks as she has taken the smallest of my items. I was told by the doctor to not carry anything on either of my shoulders if at all possible.
“Still can’t feel it. At all. Actually I kind of worry that I don’t have any feeling in my arm forever… so I am tempted to not take the pills for a day to see if I still feel things with it.”
“Don’t Logan… If you stop taking them the pain would be too much… and…” Claire starts looking sad as she talks to me.
“It’s okay.” I pat her head with my left hand, “It wasn’t your fault to begin with, nor will it ever be your fault. I regret nothing.”
Claire smiles and stays silent as we walk close to each other for the entire walk to the hotel we were staying at for the entire school trip.
……
…
“Hey… you know I am fully capable of eating by myself and there is no need for you to go this far for me. You know that… right? Claire?”
Claire was currently feeding me in front of the entire group. It was embarrassing so I wanted her to stop. We were eating steak, so I had to have someone else cut it. Claire gladly took up the post, but didn’t give up after that, and insisted on feeding me.
“No. I want to repay all the things you have done for me.” Claire starts to pout.
“Well… I have done quite a few things for you, but I can easily say that you have done more for me. I know you want to help me while I am injured, but this is just too embarrassing!” I shy away while Claire continues to try and shove food into my mouth.
“Don’t be shy, we’ve done worse in public.” Claire smiles while holding on to my head with one hand and using the other to try and feed me. All of the students had long stopped eating and had started staring at the scene in front of them.
“That doesn’t make it ri- mmnffhhn” Claire forcefully shoves the food into my mouth while I was talking, almost causing me to choke.
“There. Now just eat quickly and this will all be over.” Claire gives me an evil smile. Did she do this just to humiliate me!? Why!? What did I do wrong!?
The meal ends after what seems like an eternity and everyone starts to head back to their rooms.
It turns out, most people were awarded single rooms and they could do whatever they want. Claire had decided to camp in my room. It was a single person bed, but Claire decided that we were going to sleep in it together.
“Logan, hurry up.” Claire runs circles around me to try and get me to hurry up and get to the room. As she was running her hundredth lap around me I get a phone call and Claire and I both tilt our heads.
“Uh, hello?” I carefully ask who it was. Because I was in a different country, my phone was switched for one that Greg had prepared for me, so it didn’t have caller id. Sadly.
“Hey Logan, it’s me, Greg. How’s the trip going so far?”
“Uh… we just finished eating dinner and are heading back to my room for the night. Claire seems to be in a really good mood and is literally running laps around me.” I smile at Claire who continues to jump around excitedly.
“Just be careful of your arm. Grandchildren are always welcome you know. Claire is getting impatient!”
“No I’m not!” Claire yells at Greg through the phone.
“Ah, she heard me. I just wanted to check in on you to make sure everything was okay. How is your arm doing anyways?”
“It’s good. The medicine is weird, but it makes life pretty easy for now.”
“That’s good. It was mostly experimental and you were the first real trial of it.”
“You seriously used me to test a new drug!?”
“Minor details… anyways, I have to go do important things like not talking on this line. Bye.” Greg quickly hangs up his phone as I sigh and droop my head. Please do not let my whole trip be like this.
“So Logan. Looking forward to the beach tomorrow?” Claire smiles oddly and prances around.
“I finally get to enjoy watching my wife be in a sexy bikini for most of the day! How on earth could I not be looking forward to it!?” I shout happily as I finally see the greatness of the future in front of me.

Hello everyone!
Like usual there will not be chapters on weekends. I was informed that today was a holiday of some sort, but since I don't have a job, I was not aware of this. Oh well.
Anyways. I have changed the summary slightly and have decided that the title will not be changing. Also, a large percentage of you just didn't seem to give a fuck. Oh well.
Have a great day/night?

8 133Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
