《Artificial Biological Runic intelligence》Chapter 23

"There are two ways of summoning demons," Alica said. "The first way is the pure mana, but the mana it needs to summon what you want it ginormous. The second and the most common way is by using an item with high energy density. I use magic cores to summon my demons. There are upsides and downsides on both techniques. As for the first, the downside is the mana, and every time the demon dies or something else, you will have to use mana to summon it again. As for the second techniques the downside it the item, if the summoned being dies the item you used will be dropped to where the demon died. The upside in both techniques is the demon will be able to get stronger by training like us." She then stood up, went to the center of the backyard and pointed a finger to the ground. The dirt moved bit by bit, she kept doing that until she had a small hole where she could place one of her feet to stay steady. She then moved her other foot in front of the other, and the created a point to where her foot was pointing. After that, she used the newly created hole as a guide for the next one. She then placed the end of her shoe in front of the new hole and created one more to where her foot was pointing. She repeated the process for ten more times.
"Now, I have to connect the points with each other and then create circles for each point," Alica explained. She then dug the dirt and grass and connected the points with a thin straight line. When she finished with the line, she created the circles. After that, she wrote on the dirt the runes for the array to work. Next, she picked a small sack of magic cores from her pocket. She dropped them on the hole she had first created and used mana for the array to come alive. Now, with the mana added, the magic cores began shaking. A few seconds later, the core with the number 1 was the first disappear with a flash and One to appear. Fifty was the last summoned.
"Now, girls, you can do whatever you like but killing is not allowed, and never take demonic forms in the city. You can go." Alica said to the succubi and then faced Kaylen. "It seems complex, but it's not. If you learn how I do it. Now, something else I want to tell you." She stopped for a couple of seconds to get her thoughts straight and then said. "Every time you summon a being with an item, the item will be the gateway for the being to be summoned. So be careful with what you use, and how strong the item is." When she finished teaching Kaylen, One came close to Alica and said. "We will need some gold to build you know what." Alica gave her a simple nod and gave her the gold she asked.
"Impressive but very simplistic." Said Elora who had joined halfway in the lesson. "But I have to compliment you too, the technique you used to remember everything is a good start for remembering where each rune goes." When Alica heard this, a smug smile was plaster on her face.

Simple generic summoning spell.
You are now able to summon beings based on intent.
Every level lowers the mana cost for the summoning.
Mana cost (without the usage of an item) per level is 1000.
Mana cost (with an item) per level is 100. (Max level is the item's level.)
(The cast has only 5 seconds of stability.)
"Anyway, Kaylen I found what you asked, but the cultivation technique isn't much better from what you already know." She then retrieved a small book from her ring and gave it to Kaylen. "And because of that, I found another book to make it up to you. Although it's a martial arts skill, I believe it will do." And she gave the second book to Kaylen. The first book was named "Cycled Essence Cultivation". The second book's title was "Peak Body Performance." "And lastly, this one." And she gave her another one, but it had no title. "This one will help you with your mana quantity. I hope all those extra can fulfill the deal we had." Kaylen nodded enthusiastically, but before she could say something, Alica joined in. "Before you give a verbal agreement, check the books first." Hearing the advice from Alica, Kaylen started reading the books. Elora looked at Alica and gave her a wink. Alica rolled her eyes, but in the end, she had a smile on her face. A couple of minutes later, Kaylen finished reading everything and agreed that the deal was satisfied. The paper who Kaylen and Elora had made the contract materialized in mid-air and burned with blue flames. "Now, with that finished. Alica, do you know where your father is? I went to his study room, but he wasn't there." "Then he is probably with my mother of the basement." Elora gave her a nod, stood up and left.
"So, were the books least interesting enough to agree with the deal?" Alica asked Kaylen. "Yes, especially the last one. It explained many things that have to do with mana and advance runes." "Can you give me a hint of what the book was saying?" "To create advance runes all you have to do is to make the spell with the basic runes in the air and the place every rune upon each other." While Kaylen started speaking, Alica focused on what she was saying. She had a similar book with Kaylen's, but she couldn't understand a thing from that book. The runes and all those things confused her, and she wanted Kaylen to explain those things for her. "After you created the new rune, you will have to place it into your mana pool. The books said that the pool well is located in the center of the head. To place the rune inside the well, you have to force it inside your mana pool, but it takes time and effort." Alica gave her a nod of understanding and made a gesture with her hand for Kaylen to continue. "If you manage to place the rune inside the well, then you will be able to cast the spell without any casting time or writing the runes. And lastly, when the rune is inside, and you want to execute it, you only have to give it mana, and the spell will run its course. The book also says that if you repeatedly use the same rune, the rune will need a little less mana to be activated and it can be initiated by just thinking and not actively focusing on it." Kaylen stopped speaking because Alica was contemplating what she had said. A few seconds later Alica spoke. "I think I get it. But I will have to do it first to be sure. Can you write down for me the runes for the mana bolt spell?" "I can do that, but before I do. Can you explain what essence from the cultivations techniques do, and do the essence from killing living things have any differences with the cultivation essence?"

"Hmm, there are no differences between the two as far as we know. As to how it works it's pretty simple. The essence is used to make oneself more powerful. For example, if you kill let's say ten goblins and after that train your endurance, you will see improvement on your endurance on the same day, but it's a slow process. And it's used mostly on kids who can't just go and kill monsters or go on dungeons. As for the martial artists, Elora and I believe they are lunatics. And I don't know why you want to waste your time on those techniques, but I will still support you. Now, can I have the spell, please?" She said happily. "Yes, but I will need some paper and a pen." Alica nodded happily and gave her what she asked. Two minutes later, Kaylen finished writing the spell firebolt she had and gave it to Alica.
When Alica got the spell, she got ready to write the runes in the air, but she just stayed there. A few seconds passed without her doing anything until she looked at Kaylen panicked. "Do you know how to write runes in the air?" She asked worryingly. "The book said that you just have to use mana." Alica did what Kaylen said. She started copying the runes from the paper to the air. Both girls expected the mana to defuse in the air, but that never happened, on the contrary, they stayed put and even fixed some lines that weren't straight or curved enough. Both looked at the event in awe. The runes dance up and down and left to right slowly; it felt like the runes were in sync with the mood of the girls. "This is new. I fill connected with the runes. Like they are part of me. Did the book said something about that?" "No, there was nothing about that." "Let's continue then, and see what will happen." Alica then focused on the runes and willed all of them to fuse in one single rune. At first, Alica expected to find some resistance, but that never came. Hell, she didn't even have to guide the runes, everything moved and rearranged automatically. The final rune (advance now) had the shape of the firebolt itself. Next thing Alica did was to move the rune inside her. And yet again, there was no problem in doing that, even the rune dance faster and 'happier' when it came closer to Alica. When it made contact with Alica's hand, the rune dissipated in small balls of mana and moved inside her. Alica zoned out for a couple of seconds, and then came back with an enthusiastic yell.
"I DID IT!" She screamed and went ahead and hugged Kaylen. "Thank you, thank you!" She repeated while tears came out of her eyes. "I didn't do a thing. If you want to thank someone, thank the book. There was mostly everything written on it." Kaylen said while she hugged her too. They stayed like that for some time, until Alica calmed down. "So. The book said that you will remember the spell forever, and cast it instantly. Well? Is it true?" Alica gave it a little bit of thought and said. "Yes. I can remember how I created the rune from start to finish, how to execute it, and how much mana it needs." She aimed with her right palm a little bit farther away from where they were and just by thinking for the rune to be activated a small bolt of fire came to existence. It hovered in front of her palm for less than a tenth of a second and then flew faster than the eye could track to its target, the earth. When it connected with the ground, a small explosion of a crackling fire has heard and dirt flying around. It didn't do much damage, but it was unquestionably deadly.
But they happy time together came to a sudden stop because one maid came and asked for Alica to go and see her father alone. But before leaving, Alica went close to Kaylen and kissed her right cheek. "I will see you later." She said before she left the backyard.
Kaylen placed her hand on the place where Alica kissed her and felt strange inside her. But she didn't give it much thought, for now, she had to read the blue screens that had come up when she had finished reading two of the three books.

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
