《Artificial Biological Runic intelligence》Chapter 13

Kaylen slept for 2 hours, after that, she didn't know what to do. She thought for a minute, and a thing came to her mind. She had the new ring that could make her skills for mana regeneration three times more powerful. That meant she could use the body Basic Body empowerment with the help of the two spells for mana regen. She forced six mana to the Spell Accelerated mana regeneration and made her mana regeneration to 30 mana regen. And she did the same for the Spell Efficient Accelerated mana regeneration. She forced six mana again, and the spell gave her back 30 mana. Now she had 60 mana regeneration per second, but there was a downside on this, she was losing stamina every second. It was probably too much for her to use both spells at max mana.
But, she kept using them. She then used the Basic Body empowerment spell. When the spell was in full force, she felt powerful. All physical stats double the performance. It was the best feeling ever. The runes on her skin dissipated after the two seconds of her using the skill. She had only a blue halo around her from the mana moving in her at a fast pace. Her veins were emitting a light blue color. She used the spells like that for five more hours until a maid came and knocked on the door.
"Lady Kaylen. Wake up, the blood oath you have to participate will begin in ten minutes. Please be ready before the time runs out. The clothes you wore yesterday are on the front on the bed. I will wait here, and when you finish clothing, I will bring you to the room where the blood oath will take place."
Kaylen wore her clothes and checked them out. She wanted to know if they were her clothes, after a couple of tried they were her clothes. She left the bedroom and followed the maid. She followed the maid to an underground room. Alica, Renna and the king were all there. The maid gave a bow and left.
"Now, let's get started." Said Renna. She removed a knife from her boots and hut Alica on her palm. She then did the same to Kaylen. "Now, put both of your bleeding hand close to each other without touching each other. And I will make the contract." Both Kaylen and Alica moved their hands close to each other. Renna used a paper under their hands. On the paper was drawn a pentagram. When the first drop of blood hit the paper the pentagram lightened up and absorbed it. Then Renna asked both of them to touch the paper. Then Alica said the same thing that she had said when she had made the contract with Kaylen. But this time she added that Kaylen should never try to harm another elf, expect if it is for self-defense, and to never give out pieces of information to outsiders on what the elves are doing.

"And we are done. That was all, good job to both of you." Said the king. "Now, let go and eat breakfast." And he was the first to leave the room. Renna the followed.
"That was all?" Asked Kaylen. "Yeap, that was all. Why do you ask? DId you expect something different?" She said with a smirk on her face. "Yea, maybe something more complex or sinister. And why we were only me and you that made the blood oath. What will happen if I break it?"
"It based on how the spell was created. What my mother made was a spell that will remove all your memories of elves if you ever break it. And as to why I was the ones who made the blood oath with you was because I wanted to be the one who could take responsibility if something happened to you or made a mistake. If I had left my parents to do it, then the rules could have been harsher. And I didn't want that. Did that answer your question?"
"Yea."
"Okay then. Let's go and eat breakfast!"
After they finished eating breakfast. Alica took Kaylen outside the palace to the roads of the city. Alica explained every building to Kaylen. What the blacksmith's shops looked like, general goods, tailors, enchanters, mages and many more. And the last thing Alica showed to Kaylen was the library. "But you can't just join the library as of yet. You first have to join an academy or be an apprentice to a mage. Then you will be able to join the library." Said Alica.
"And what do suggest?" "I suggest you to joining the Academy that we have here in the city. I'm going there too, but I had to stop for some time for the mission that my parent wanted me to take. Come I will show you where the academy is. We have to follow the biggest road in the city. We could have gone from the palace to the academy from the start but where is the fun on that?"
They followed the road for a few minutes. Alica explained more thing to Kaylen. Kaylen was looking at things with a smile on her face. Knowledge made her happy, and new things even more. When they were finally at the gate of the academy, the guards that they were at the front asked them for the pass. Alica took a two centimeters thick green ticket from her pocket that had her name, age, and classes printed on it with black color. It had a painting of the academy building and the year that the pass was made. The guards looked at it and the let her pass. They checked everyone, no matter what title they had. But Kaylen didn't have a ticket like Alica.

"She is here to join the academy." Said Alica. One of the guards asked Kaylen to follow him, Alica followed too. As for the other guard, he stayed where he was. Finally, the guard stopped at the front of a door that had a name printed on it. "Alvaerele Sarna" was what was written with a golden color on the door. The academy had stone walls and wooden doors. The Guard knock on the door three times and left.
"Come on in you two." A female voice from behind the door. Alica then opened the door and Kaylen followed. There was a woman behind the desk. She had green eyes and hair, a beautiful face. She wore green clothes too. "What can I do for you today?" She asked. "Kaylen wants to join the academy." "Okay." She then picked a rob that was behind her and placed it on the desk. "Place your hand on the orb." Kaylen placed her hand on the orb. When her hand was on the orb, she felt an energy going from the orb to her hand, to her head. The orb changed many colors while the energy was inside her. When the energy was done doing its thing, the orbs color was white.
"Okay, that means she has an affinity for most affinities. That's good." Said Alvaerele. "Now, I want you to fill those." She picked a registration form from one of the desk drawers and placed it in front of Kaylen.
When she was done, she gave it back. Alvaerele gave it a look and nodded. "Come here tomorrow to get your pass. And we will see what classes you will register tomorrow. We are done. You may leave." And she went back to reading the papers she had on the desk.
After the left the academy, Alica stopped Kaylen and asked her. "Really, how did you make the orb go white? It was the second time that I saw something like this. Only the headmaster was able to do that."
"I didn't do anything. I just felt an energy going from inside my hand to my head and that was all. I didn't do something else."
"Okay, I will believe you for now. Let's go back to the palace, and train a little bit."
"Train on what?"
"Magic of course, what else?"
"Martial arts?"
"Martial arts are a bit harder to train than mana, and most people chose to go with magic. So martial arts haven't developed much in this city."
"Okay, let go and train."
Finally, at the palace, they eat lunch and went to the backyard of the palace. It was a big open place with some equipment on the sides.
"Here we will train whenever we are done with the classes. Now, tell me what you know about magic."
Kaylen explained to her what she had read from the books. "Okay, you know magic better than I do. So tell me why are you so weak?" Kaylen shook her shoulders. She had a clue as to why she was so weak, but she hadn't give it much thought.
"I will tell you why you are probably weak and with this low mana reserves. That is because you had never cultivated mana." Alica said with a smug face. She was happy that she knew something that Kaylen didn't.
"I see, and how do I do that?" Asked Kaylen.
"Here, I will so you."
And with that, both of them started training until the moon came up.
