《Artificial Biological Runic intelligence》Chapter 11

They went down the hole, and into a dark abyss. The scorpion could see, but all the others had to use a source of light to see in front of them. The kept moving until the scorpion spoke to Kaylen. "We are close to the building that I came from," Kaylen told to the others that they were close. A few minutes later, there was in an expanded space. They couldn't see walls or anything except the ground.
They moved deeper. However, that wasn't the best chose. Monsters spawned everywhere around them. The other thing was that they weren't in a dungeon. The new monsters that they couldn't see but hear ware just a safety mechanism of the building. The new monster hadn't attacked the scorpion that slept for years here, because monsters weren't going to take anything from the building, but people like Kaylen and Alica could. The first monster they saw was small like an animal that looked like a dog, but it was more like a zombie. It had four legs, two eyes, no ears, no tail and the stomach area had no meat keeping the organs inside. They could see the organs moving inside while the animal moved.
Racuhas, undead demon, level 30.
"I know what are those, the called Racuhas from the demon realm. They are the most disgusting animal the had ever existed in our realm. The only thing with those is they are undead." Said the demon with the number 32. "And why do you even know they are from our realm? I haven't seen something like this." Asked 'One', but she knew what the answer was going to be. "Well, I wanted to f.." "Yea, we got it." 'One' stopped her. "Do we kill them?" Asked Kaylen, Alica nodded, and used her mana and started burning everything in front of her. The scorpion did the same, and all the others followed. It didn't take long before everything was dead.
They had killed 500 of them with magic and with scorpion together. After that, there was quietness, like before. They moved around the building. It took at least an hour for them to find a clue of what was going around. One of the demons had found some symbols as she called them. It was an alien language that no one had ever seen before. But Kaylen could read them. It was the language of the dragons. The symbols that they found said, 'to thee that wish to pass, a sacrifice has to be made.'
"Are you sure this is what it says Kaylen. How do you even know how to read them in the first place?" Asked Alica, she was looking suspiciously at Kaylen. "I don't know, I just do?" While the conversion was going between them. A jar with nothing in it came from the floor, and the ground kept on going up until it was at a height of one meter. It was a jar that could be able to contain ten litters of any substance.

"And now what do we do?" Asked 'One', while she looked around. But before Alica could answer, a ticking noise was heard from everywhere. By every second, the ticking was going faster and faster, The base of the jar was getting higher and higher. The walls around them were closing in. To thee that wish to pass a sacrifice has to be made. A voice was heard between the tickings. A booming voice said. It had used the draconic language. "Kaylen, what did it say?" "It said the same thing that I told you."
"Let's go back to the hole that we came from." Said one of the demons. A few seconds later, the same demon spoke. "Never mind. The hole has been completely closed off. The walls shield it."
"Shit, what are we going to do? Why is it a jar? Does it want ut to use our blood or something like that?" Said Alica, while stomping her foot on the ground. She was mad, mad with Kaylen and the scorpion. But all of them were now in this hell hole, and she had no one to blame but herself. "Let give it the copses of the Racuhas that we killed first." Said Kaylen. Some of the demons ran and picked the copies that her on the ground whole.
"Now what?" Asked one of them. "Then force them in the jar." Add Kaylen. They executed the plan. They forced the corpses inside the jar. When the bodies were in, they turned to liquid. The booming voice spoke after the had filled the jar fully. "A clever chose has been made. A reward has spawned in the next room. There is a reward for all of you."
Dragon Trials Room 1 was cleared. 49 left.
They all went to the next room. It was the same big room, but this time it had light everywhere. 53 bottles with a red liquid were at the center of the building. They had the names of every person here. Everyone went and picked the bottle with their name. Kaylen used the system to see what was inside.
The essence of 50, level 50 monsters is inside the bottle.
How to use: Drink it.
She drunk the solution, and she saw she had gain exp for her level. She was now level 24. She used all the 3,3 points on her luck. Everyone else had drunk the solution. They went to the next door with a new puzzle. It read 'an extra person has come here with you, where is he/she? Found him/her, and a reward will be at the next door.' Kaylen told the message that it was carved on the wall, and looked at all of them. Everyone looked at each other, searching for the new person. Everyone counted every head they were able to see, they were 53. But Kaylen's skill picked the 54 people. He/she was on the roof of the room. Because the light was not strong enough to hit the roof, they hadn't seen the new person that was in here.

The booming voice spoke. "A new record has been made. One of you has found the extra person. An additional reward has been awarded to the person that found the extra one."
Everyone looked at Kaylen but they didn't say anything. The rewards were gloves and a ring.
Dragon skinned gloves.
Durability 500/500
Extra: 10% extra damage. Be it magic or physical.
Ring of Mana.
Durability 300/300
Extra: Everything that has to do with mana regen is now 300% more efficient.
Kaylen was happy that she got both of those, the extra damage was a nice bonus, but the ring was a whole other story. She could be able to use finally the spell Basic Body empowerment. She felt happy with everything.
After everyone had taken their rewards, monsters spawned all around them. It was the same monster as before, but it wasn't undead this time, and they were 40 level each. The voice spoke. "Survive for 15 minutes." That challenge was a piece of cake for the demons, Alica, and the scorpion. The number of the monsters was always double of theirs. The 15 minutes passed fast. And when the time was over, the new room door was opened. This time Kaylen didn't have a reward because she didn't do a thing. But at least she had got exp from the kills the scorpion had done. She was now level 28, and she used every point on luck again.
The next room was a maze. "You have to find the next door." The maze walls were all the way to the room's roof. "There is no time limit. There is an easy way out of here, we will follow the left wall. Until we get out of here." Said Alica, everyone went ahead with the plane. 10 hours later, they were at the door. They were lucky because no monsters have been spawned on the maze.
Dragon Trials Room 4 was cleared. 46 left.
This time there was no reward because they had taken 13 hours to finish the maze. The next room had a circle on the center that had a diameter of 10 meters. Inside the circle was a shadow with red eyes. It was laughing too. "Find what is inside the shadow without going in the circle." That was a bizarre one. How can they find out what is inside the shadow while the light was everywhere? There shouldn't be a shadow in the first place. The lighting in this room had the power to light up even the roof.
"The key is the light." Said the shadow. Kaylen thought for a minute, the books she had read had said about light and how can be used. The thing that could help them here was probably holy magic. "Alica, can you use holy magic?" Asked Kaylen. Alica shook her head, indicating a no. "I control demons, holy light can harm them." "Then can you use dark magic?" This time she said yes. "Then use dark magic to feel the insides of the shadow. When you will able to do that, destroy the spell that creates the shadow." "It can't be really that simple. I mean with my level I could do that easily." "Then do it, there is nothing to lose."
Alica then focused her mana on the shadow's body. She searched the outside first to see if there was anything unusual. When she found nothing, not even a pull of mana. She searched inside the shadow. That was harder than the previous, but she was able to succeed. She found the mana source and destroyed it by overloading the core with more mana. With a spectacular boom, the core was broken. Inside the shadow was a purple velvet.
"You have finished the 5 first rooms, the next room is a safe zone, there will be food, drinks, and beds for you to sleep. Also, you can leave by going up to the door that says exit."
Kaylen told them what it was on the next room and they could leave from there if they want. "We better leave, we don't know if the next rooms will be harder or not, and I don't want to risk it at all." Said Alica, Kaylen gave her a nod. The went to the next room and left from the exit door. Well, it was more like a teleport of the surface of the desert rather than an exit. Kaylen and Alica looked around, they both found the mountain that they had left from and the ran to the other direction, farther away from the mountain. It was night time and the desert was cool. If felt nice on the skin, but they had to run fast. They had lost too much time in the desert, and they didn't want to get dehydrated. Although water magic could help them with that, no one had a spell that could create water.
The next 3 days passed fast, and now they were at the front of a jungle. "We finally made it. This is where we will have to be careful, and if we pass without anyone get hurt, then we will be at the front of the elven city." Said Alica. And with that, they went into the jungle.
