I am fighting against Rodrik. I am supposed to be strong, but he is still giving me a hard time. He is fast even with his fat body and his strikes are strong and powerful. I also have a handicap here. The mana pressure in this room is making it harder for me to move. The wounds on my body are not healing as faster even with my ability.

“Focus, Den, we don’t have much time on our hands. I want to you at least get used to the mana. Once your body get used to the mana, you will have to learn to control it. From what you told me before, Nestor blocked the effects of your ability right? This training will help you make a resistive body towards foreign effects. Also your mana capacity will increase.”

I didn’t tell him every detail about my ability because I don’t want to let go of my trump card. But i told him enough to give a clear explanation. It has already been an hour since we started our battle. I can already feel better than before, maybe i am getting used to the mana here. During our short break i checked my status to find any difference.

My mana increased by 20. There is only a little change in my strength and agility from before but vitality has increased greatly. I wonder if it’s because i experienced near death once.

“Hey you street dog..stop slacking off. We need to do more work here.”

Yes, he did start calling me street dog again. I think he is trying to play the role of harsh trainer. I take out my sword and dashed at him. He blocks my attack with his sword. But because of our difference in strength, I am slowly pushing him. If it wasn’t for this room’s mana pressure, i would have sent him flying through the wall.

Rodrik suddenly puts his hand in front of me and chants some kind of spell.

“eh..What..guh..”

A fireball comes out of his hand and explodes at my face. The explosion sent me flying away. By the time I collected myself, my face was already burnt.

“hahahahaha…..That face really suits you.” Rodrik laughed.

“That’s cheating Rodrik. You used magic right.”

“I’ll do whatever I want. Now, get back on your feet.”

I stand up while cursing him.

Rest of the day went away with the training. Rodrik offered me to stay at the mansion as there is still training left to do. I was worried about Aria but i think that she will be fine at the Guild. So i chose to stay. From here on, I stayed at the mansion for several days. Rodrik also sent a guard to Guild to inform Aria about my stay.

At the adventurer’s guild……

The private training area of the adventurer’s guild has been occupied for third continues day by two ladies. One is guild’s staff Mila and other is Den’s slave Aria. Mila is teaching Aria on how to fight with knives.

“Haaaaaaaaa.. ..” Aria screamed as she attacked Mila.

“hmph..you got quite strong Aria. Seriously, what is up with this learning speed.”

Mila taunted while blocking Aria’s attack. At first it was Mila overwhelming Aria. By the second day, Aria gave Mila quite a tough time. Finally, now at the third day, they are on equal level.

“But you are still not enough for me.”

Mila said as she kicked Aria’s face. Aria dodges the kick. Mila takes this chance to stab her knife into Aria’s chest. The knife goes through and blood start to come out. Mila stops the knife before it reaches too deep and pulls it out. Aria collapses on the ground while holding her chest.

Mila performs healing magic on her.

“Are you okay?” Mila asked.

“Yes, I think I can go again now.”

“Don’t push yourself. Let’s end it here for today.”

After they took a rest for a while. Aria takes out her status plate and shows it to Mila.

“Miss Mila, what do you think of this?”

“What an absurd growth? I guess you will be around an A rank adventurer right now.”

“Hmmm..what are the ranks of adventures?”

“Oh, i never told you about that right. Well, starting from E, they are D, C, B, BB, A, AA, S, SS, SSS and God rank.”

“I guess Miss Mila is really powerful.”

“Of course, i was an adventurer myself. I am a AA rank.”

“That means you are stronger than Guild manager.”

“No, Sir Carlos is stronger than me. His guild card shows him to be an A rank, but he is powerful enough to be a S rank.”

“So your rank doesn’t get affected by your power..”

“Well, mostly because rank changes by quests. Each quest also has a rank. When an adventurer passes certain amount of quests, his rank gets updated.”

“What about master and that Nestor person?”

“I think Mr. Den would be as strong as S rank and I heard before that General Nestor is strong enough to be a SSS rank adventurer. If you combine it with Vena’s chosen, he is a really strong person”

“hmmm.. but master defeated the dragon right.”

“Yes, I don’t know how Den did it but he defeated one of the strongest living being. I don’t know what kind of method he used but I don’t think it will work with General Nestor.”

Aria showed a wry smile as she remembered about Den going into the Great Black Dragon King’s stomach.

“Also Mr. Den’s mana pool is really low”

“That is troublesome right..”

“It is. Mana is essential part of the combat used by many people. It helps enhancing your speed and strength. It is used for abilities like poison sword that General Nestor uses.”

“You guys gave us quite a trouble ever since you came here. Kingdom is in uproar about your quest. If it wasn’t for the law that prevents disclosing of information to anybody, you and Den would be in all sorts of trouble by now.”

“Ahaha..thank you for helping us.”

“Well, that’s our job so don’t mind about that. There is something I want to ask you. You are a slave so then why you are training this hard for Mr. Den. It will be fine if you do nothing.”

“That’s because I love master.”

“A love between master and slave. That’s something rare. How did that happen? You realize that this world won’t allow your love right.”

Mila is hinting about their different race.

“It was love at first sight. Also, master already declared to fight the world for me.”

“What? That’s just too absurd. I can already feel more trouble coming from you.”

Aria showed a wry smile as Mila sighed.

“By the way..H-have yo-you guys done it?” Mila asked shyly.

“eh...you mean that...well..” Aria’s cheeks flushed red as she was struggling to answer.

Mila is already 25 year old, but she still has no experience with guys. She tried dating some guys before but it never reached to that point. Whenever something like this comes up, she behaves like this.

“Well...tell me how was it? Did it hurt?..It was normal right or don’t tell me you guys are into fetishes….Yes that must be it..you guys are master and slave after all…”

“ehhhhhhh...n-n-n-n-no What are you talking about? Miss Mila. We are not into that sort of stuff.”

“really, then how was it? Was it good? Did you enjoy it?”

Aria backed away as Mila kept coming closer to her face.

“I-It was good...Although it was painful at first….uuuuu. what are you making me say?...”

“I see. I see. Then tell me how many times you did it? How is Den in bed?”

“I-I think we did it several times..and master...is..”

“yes tell me..tell me..”

“Cut it out, Mila..” They were interrupted by a woman’s voice.

There are two people standing at their side. One is woman who looked like an adventurer and second is Carlos.

“Miss Keena, What are you doing here?” Mila asked to the female adventurer.

“This idiot asked me for a favour.” Keena said as she pointed at Carlos.

“ah...So are you going to help us?”

“Unfortunately, I owe this guy a lot..but still Carlos how are we suppose to fight against an army general with just us.”

“Don’t worry i already asked others to join us. They will be here soon.” Carlos said reassuring Keena.

“That reminds me, what were you guys talking about earlier?”

Carlos asked while showing a dumb face leaving Aria and Mila speechless.

“You were talking about something being painful and about how it felt. Was it about the training?”

“eh..you can’t be serious right.” Mila asked but reply came from Keena.

“ah..don’t mind it. You see, this guy is a virgin.”

“Ho-how rude i just don’t have experience.”

“That’s exactly what you call a virgin. Seriously, Carlos you are already 35 year old. You should be ashamed.”

Carlos who burst out in rage and then in tears left Aria and Mila in shock. Carlos got even more depressed as the girls gave him a look of pity. Then Carlos shut himself in his room for rest of the day.

At the Birnmin mansion……

It has already been five days since I started training here. I am already used to the mana room now. I can now freely move my body around. It feels just as comfortable as in normal environment. Rodrik is now no match for me. I easily defeated him yesterday even when he used magic. So I am training alone now. I am sharpening my swordsmanship that I learnt from a personal tutor Rodrik hired for me. I also learnt some basic magic skills from Rodrik. They include magic related to fire, water, air and earth. Mostly, it was fire magic as that was the Rodrik’s speciality. My mana pool has also increased.

“I guess that’s enough for today.”

I put sword back into the sheath and got out of the mana room. My room where I am staying in this mansion is quite a luxury. It has quite a big size compared to the inn.

*growwwl…*

That was my stomach. I think I should get something to eat. There were many times when I took food from their kitchen. I have to ask for permission from the chef first. During my stay, I got in good terms with staff here.

I decided to take a bath first because I was drenched in sweat. I couldn’t stop myself from taking a bath here. It was big, and it felt amazing. I came to the bathroom and took my clothes off in changing room. I opened the door of the bathroom. My vision was first covered with steam and fog. I slowly get into the water enjoying the lukewarm water. I suddenly heard someone humming from the other side.

“Is anyone there?...ah…”

“eh….”

As I got closer the voice, I found a woman with blond hair and blue eyes who looked exactly like Lisa but much older than her. She is Gena. She looked at me in surprise as her naked body is in front of my eyes. Seriously, is it because of genes? The same thing happened with Lisa before.

“Mr. Den..”

“I am sorry. I didn’t know you were here. I will leave immediately.”

“No..well I was surprised but you don’t have to leave.”

She tried to grab my hand but her foot slipped. Just like Lisa slipped before but this time I caught Gena in my arms.

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, I am fine. Thank you.”

“Gena, Are you there? I heard someone’s voice.”

Before Gena could reply, Rodrik came in opening the door. He looked at me and Gena who is in my arms with wide eyes before bursting in anger.

“YOUUUUUUUUUUU...STREET DOG...NOT ONLY MY DAUGHTER..BUT YOU DARED TO PUT YOUR HANDS ON MY WIFE..”

“No, Rodrik, calm down.”

“SHUT UP..STREET DOG...THIS TIME I HAVE MY SWORD WITH ME..YOU WILL BE MY DINNER TONIGHT STREET DOG.”

Well, it took us a while to stop Rodrik’s anger and his sudden desire for cannibalism. That is how i spent my peaceful days at Birnmin mansion.
