“haaaa….just how long do we have to stay here…”

“I think we might have to stay the night or at least until things get cleared with Miss Lisa.”

Currently. Me and Aria are standing at the balcony of our room looking at the view. We already had our lunch but Lisa’s mother persisted on us staying here. By the way Lisa took her lunch in her room while her father keep begging her at the door of her room.

“Don’t worry. I just want to talk to you a little.” Suddenly Gena comes out of the glassed door.

“ah..hello, do you need something?”

“Yes, there is something that i have to talk to you about.”

She came towards the edge of the balcony and looked at the sky. Her long hairs are swinging around from the air.

“Mr. Den i apologize for my husbands rude words.”

“no, i think it’s fine.”

“Mr. Den, Ever since my husband Rodrik was a child, his life was decided by his parents. He never had dreams of his own. He always did what he was told to. His parents didn't even allowed him to marry the woman he loved because she had lower social standing than him. Instead, they arranged his marriage with me because i also belong to a noble family, however it’s still not as big as Birnmin family. So when we had Lisa, he was the happiest in his life. It was like colors came back in his black and white life. Because of that he wanted to protect his happiness, resulting in his behavior now. But my question is to you Mr. Den, what are you going to do in your life? Are you going to be an adventurer for your whole life?”

“Well i don’t know about for whole life but until i find something better.”

“fuahahaha….You are just like me when i was young. So Mr.Den Do you like Lisa?”

“No, I only love Aria.” I said as i brought Aria closer to me by her waist. She blushed and looked down with a smile on her face.

“hmm….I have a favor to ask you Mr. Den. Please take Lisa with you. I mean it as take her even against her father’s consent.”

“What..Why..what will her father do if i do that?”

“You see, Mr. Den, I don’t want to make Lisa a caged bird. Rodrik is doing with her same thing as his parents did to him. That girl is not suited for this world, she likes adventures and i can see it in her eyes. She is more than capable enough to survive out there. Also about Rodrik, don’t worry he will be furious but i will calm him down after all i am his wife. Well the last decision is up to you but please give it some thought.” She leaves after saying that.

“sigh...What am i supposed to do now.”

“I follow whatever the master’s decision will be..”

i thought about it for a while and said to Aria.

“Aria, you know, Lisa and Rodrik’s situation remind me my own’s, like how i was always bounded by chains of family matters. Every decision was made beforehand without even asking me. I can understand Lisa’s feelings and i also understand Rodrik’s feelings like how i don’t like it if you were to go away from me. But i have decided to help Lisa.”

“okay master and also i won’t leave you.”

“hahaha..I know. Alright so here is the plan Aria”

I walked in the corridor until i reached to Lisa’s room. It seems her father is already gone.

“*knock**knock*..Lisa it’s me.” After a while a hand came out of the door and grabbed me and pulled me in quickly and forcefully.

“Lisa, What are you doing?”

“Sorry, Den, I didn't want to see my father and also sorry for everything today.”

“no, i already said to your mother that it was fine.”

“I see…”

“Your mother also said to me to take you away from here forcefully and i am going to do that.”

“ta-take me away, fo-fo-fo-fo-forcefully..Den i think it’s too early….bu-but if you insist..”

“No, i mean it as taking you away from your father.”

“no way, father will never agree to that…”

“that is why she suggested that we do it forcefully..”

“Lisa, i know what you feel. I was once in the same condition as you. But as i met Aria, go to adventuring, i been never more happier in my life. If you keep at it you will end up destroying yourself. Life is short, don’t think of not doing this now because this moment may never come back again.”

Lisa looked down at the floor as if thinking about something. She was thinking a lot. Well it was the biggest decision of her life.

“ok, first let’s go talk to your father.”

“Well even though your mother said to do it forcefully i think you should still try and talk to your father and convince him.”

“but he will never agree to that…”

“Don’t worry, just tell him everything you feel right now and if things still go wrong we have a plan B”

I said as i blinked one of my eye at her. She smiled and we leave the room.

“Lisa you came out...huh...You street dog what are doing here.”

“Father i have to talk to you.”

Rodrik blinked at sudden pressure in Lisa’s voice. Me, Lisa, Rodrik and Gena moved towards another room. It was part of my plan B. This room had a giant glass window at one side. It was as if one part of the wall was made of glass.

“Father i want to go be an adventurer, meet a lot of people and go on journeys and have adventures. I don’t want to live here forever.”

“wh-what...impossible..You street dog what have you put in her minds.”

“Den has nothing to do with this..This is my own life and my own decision.”

“Listen lisa you are still young and don’t know what you are talking about.”

“Father it’s you who don’t know anything. Why don’t you understand? It’s not me who rely on you father, it’s you who rely on me. You are doing the same thing to me as your parents did to you..”

“LISA…” Rodrik slapped her.

“ah...i am sorry Lisa that was..”

“Rodrik it’s about time you stop putting chains on her…”

“Gena you too…….no..Lisa you are not going anywhere. That’s it.”

“Father…” Lisa said with a sad look on her face as if her last hope has been shattered.

Well i guess i have to go with plan B.

“haaaaaaaa… Lisa come here.” I said to her while putting my hand. She looks at me but soon takes my hand.

“I was hoping this would end normally. Lisa say bye to everyone.”

Lisa looks at me before waving her hand at her father and mother. In return, Rodrik who was still confused showed anger in his eyes and glared at me while Gena just waved her hand while smiling.

“Wh-what are you doing, street dog. Leave her hand at this moment.”

“Don’t worry father. She will be fine with me.”

“Who are you calling father, street dog? Fredrik, where is Fredrik? bring my sword.”

While he was shouting like that. I looked at Lisa and said.

“Lisa do you trust me.”

“...yes Den..”

I take out one small explosive, light it up and throw it at window and suddenly with a blast glass shattered and there was another blast somewhere.

I take her to the window.

“What is going on?” Rodrik said.

“oh that was the from the explosive i set up at the barn to move the guards away from the gate.”

“what..”

I take Lisa to the window. I grabbed LIsa and bring her closer to me. I hug her tightly with my hands. In return she hugged me tightly while her cheeks turned red. Gena is holding her stomach as if barely stopping herself from laughing while Rodrik was furious as if Fredrik brought his sword now, he would cut the ground in two

We jumped out of the window.

“kyaaaaa...huh..a haystack..no a cart.” Lisa said as we dropped on a cart filled with haystack.

“Yes and the driver is me.” Aria said while riding the cart.

“What is going on? Den.. What are those explosions?”

“We are escaping Lisa. We took some explosive from the armory with the help of your mother.”

“ehhhhhhhh……”

We crossed the front gate and already got on the road. It was then we saw Rodrik and some guard chasing us on horses. Man, this guy is persistent. It’s great that i already made preparations for this.

“HOLD ON, STREET DOG, GIVE ME BACK BY MY DAUGHTER.”

He said while his one hand holding onto horse and other a sword. It looks like he finally got his sword.

“Father, i will be fine. You don’t have to worry..” Lisa said.

I take out one explosive from the bag, fire it up and throw it on the road.

*BOOOOOOOOOM*

Horses startled from sudden explosion in front of them stopped. Rodrik who fell from his horse still chased us on his feet. But it is no match for our carts speed.

“LISA….WAIT FOR ME..BABY..DADDY IS COMING TO SAVE YOOOOUUUuuuuuuu….”

His voice and his figure faded as we got far away from him.

“awawawawa...Will father be alright?” Lisa said.

“Don’t worry, Gena is with him. He will be fine.”

I said to her as we move on to our unpredictable journeys and adventures.
