Stepping through the door, and into a decrepit cavern full of stalactites, a window appeared before Jayson.
Beware, for you have entered into a *=|jwq1^* Tribunal City. You shall be stalked, haunted, tortured, and eaten alive until the last vestige of your sanity falls into the endless void known as insanity. There is no way back, the only way to live is forwards, closer to the Alter of ";amf$K0_*.
[Until you leave the *=|jwg1^* Tribunal City, your skills will level twice as fast. [/window]
Suddenly, a low buzzing made it's way into Jayson's ears, along with a symphony of screams. His body shivered with an irresistable fear, the air around him becoming stale and hard to breathe in. Like a puppet with it's string cut, Jayson fell to the floor. His body motionless, blood seeped out of every minuscule pore he had, dying his surroundings a deep red.
You have been killed by a Void Crawler Level *. As your respawn has been changed to *=|jwq1^* Tribunal City, you will be respawned there in 10 seconds.
He was floating in an endless expanse of white. The only things visible were his semi-transparent body and the respawn window, looming before him.
*Wait, I never changed my respawn. How did the game forcefully change my...*
His body exploding in a flash of green, he appeared once again inside the Tribunal City, albeit at a different place. Just as he was about to look around, he heard the buzzing again. Slowly overwhelming him, attempting to consume his thoughts, it got louder and louder, until he snapped.
An inhumane scream flew out of his mouth, bouncing throughout the cavern, slowly echoing into the distance, soon drowned out by the now even louder buzzing. Just as he died once more, a notification popped up before him.

New skill gained! Psychic Resistance Level 1.
Before he could see what the skill gave him though, he was forced back into the white void, staring at the respawn screen.
*Fuck. Please don't make me go back into the endless horror...*
But it did. Countless times, for an uncountable amount of time, Jayson was sent back, killed, respawed, and killed again. After 5 times, his skill got to Level 2. After 17, it got to Level 3. After over 500, it got to level 7. After a few thousand deaths, each one just as horrific and painful as the last, the skill got to level 67.
By now, he had died so many times that whenever he would respawn, his body would immediately be soaked in blood up to his knees, the cavern he was in filled with the stench of blood. The only positive change to came out of this ordeal was the fact that he was slowly starting to last longer and longer against the beast.
Finally, with this last level up, he could finally live long enough to take in his surroundings, and try to find the monstrosity killing him. The place was pretty dark, but with his skill, he was able to see some things. it had also, through all this time, leveled up to Level 117, giving him a 60 meter radius.
Before 'It' could get to him again, he quickly ran forwards, trying to find it in the pond of blood. Just as he felt his consciousness give, his sight finally landed on it. It truly was a monstrosity.
Fully black, with white and gold specks layered around, it had two endless abyss's as eyes. Even though he wasn't really looking into them, he could feel himself almost get sucked in.
He tried inspecting it, but nothing came up. Either he was too far from it, or wouldn't let you use it.

He continued to die, and after a few minutes, he finally managed to get close to the thing. He still couldn't inspect it, and knowing that his soul-weapons were still too weak, he decided to try punching it to death.
While its mental and psychic capabilities were strong, its physical stats left something to be desired. It moved extremely slowly, couldn't react to his punches, and slowly crumpled under the barrage of punches. As he went on, the buzzing slowly got drowned out by the sound of it receiving his blows.
Finally, it had died. It's body quickly turned into a liquid-like substance before mixing with the blood in the cavern, slowly disappearing.
You have killed a Void Crawler. When one falls, others reinforce.
You will not gain XP in the *=|jwq1^* Tribunal City.
And of course, if his hundreds if not thousands of deaths couldn't be bad enough, he couldn't even gain xp here. At least his stats would level up quickly.
Sensing something entering the borders of , he brought his hands up, the mana coursing through his veins throbbing with anticipation.
