《Ley World-The Game》Chapter 17

Finally, I've finished with another technique. I guess with this I will be able to use my gravity magic to quickly propel myself towards the enemy multiple times in a short amount of time.
Sitting down on the ground, Jayson began to think about what to do next.
I think I'd like to start leveling up. But I don't think they would let me go out by myself until I create this fighting style. I would continue doing this but it's just becoming a waste of time. If I don't have any battle experience, I won't be able to create good techniques. I guess for now I will ask Knell what else to do.
Standing back up, Jason left the dummy room and then walked back to the main training room. There, he spotted Knell in the corner talking with two other dark elves. One was wearing bright white clothing that had gold interlacing. The other was wearing black clothes that had red interlacing. Compared to Knell, they looked much more formal, and judging by how he was cowering beneath them, they probably had a higher position than him.
Jayson stayed back and watched, waiting until the two men left to go up to Knell.
"Knell, I know I have to create this fighting style, but it be easier for me if I had some actual battle experience and fought some things. I know that I'm still extremely weak but maybe if I went down to the planet I could find a few more Wormins to kill. Not only will they give me a bit of battle experience, but they will let me level up." - Jayson
"It might not be a bad idea. You have to have a few people come with you of course, but if you do find a wormin nest they could probably just stay outside and watch to make sure that no stronger things come after you. For now just go meditate a bit and in a few hours I'll tell you what happens." - Knell
As they walked away, Jayson kept wondering about what he was talking to his superiors about.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later...
As Jason heard someone approaching him he opened his eyes to see Knell standing before him.
"Guess what Ja... Relfem. You can go out to the planet to fight. Two men, Rogerson & Johnson, will be sent with you to make sure that nothing bad happens. We will be teleporting you guys down near a wormin nest. The Nest should have anywhere from 100 - 1000 Wormins inside of it. At the very bottom you'll probably come across the Wormins' Queen but by then you will be much stronger and hopefully have a much greater battle sense. Those two men standing by the equipment rack are Rogerson & Johnson. They will give you some armor to wear and when you guys are ready you will go down. Good luck." - Knell

Not waiting for Knell to say anything else Jayson ran towards where the two men were standing. One of them looked towards Jayson.
"So you're Relfem? Nice to meet you. I'm Johnson." - Johnson
Johnson was an average individual and was wearing a deep blue cuirass. Strapped to him were two long assault rifles that look like M14's. The man he assumed to be Rogerson was standing next to Johnson was wearing a black trench coat and had a sniper attached to his back. Rogerson's main point was his shiny bald head. Both had multiple scars adorning their faces and they both look like they were battle-hardened.
"Yes I'm Relfem and I was told we would be going down to the planet?" - Jayson
"Yes we will. We will be standing guard over the entrance to the wormins' nest while you go inside and clear it. Take this." - Rogerson
Rogerson had a deep booming voice, unlike Johnson's gentle voice. He handed to Jayson a leather chest piece. It was a brightly colored, and though it was made out of leather, it seems to be hard as a rock. Putting the chest piece on Jayson followed Rogerson & Johnson to a door. Opening the door, they walked down the long white passage until they reached another large room.
In this room however, there stood multiple raised platforms which people were constantly coming in and coming out of.
"Those are the teleportation pads. They take us to the planet and back." - Johnson
As they walked onto one of the smaller platforms, Rogers and quickly input something into the computer. In a few seconds a bright blue light flashed over them. When Jason opened his eyes he realized he was standing somewhere else.
Looking around, he realized he was in a Barren desert. To one side there was a large mountain that obscured most of his view, and all that there was on the other side's were more and more rolling desert. Looking around a bit more, he saw what he assumed to be a cave.
"That's the wormin nest." - Rogerson
Following the two towards the nest, they stopped at the entrance.
"This is as far as we go kid. Now it's up to you good luck." - johnson
Taking a deep breath, Jayson walked in.

You have entered the dungeon: Wormin's Nest. | Dungeon Rank: Z | Danger for someone of your skill level: High |
This place is a rank Z dungeon? It still calculated that it is hard for me. Well I guess we'll just have to see. The wormins I fought before were all level 65. I can expect them to get stronger as I go down, and the queen will probably be much higher level than me, maybe even at the 500's. But it shouldn't be too difficult. By the time I get there I will also have leveled up a lot. I still don't know what to spend my stats on though. Maybe more dexterity to help me with my fighting style?
As he was thinking he didn't realize that he walked right into a pack of wormins.
As a loud Screech assaulted his ears, he broke from his trance and looked around. He had seven wormins around him. Identifying them they all seem to be around level 50.
Quickly concentrating, he pulled out his two pistols and started firing at the nearest one. In a matter of seconds it was already dead. As a prompt appeared in his vision he quickly showed it away. Using gravity magic to push himself backwards, he continued to fire at all the wormins. When all but one were left he put his pistols away and took out his sword.
Time to work on my gravity strikes.
Pushing himself forward, he kept his word to his left. As the wormin pushed into him, he hopped sideways and sent a diagonal slash with his sword. Once the slash connected, he quickly turned around and uses gravity magic to push himself towards the wormin once more. He slashed once again and began repeating that. Once each of his slashes ended, he would quickly charge at the wormin and once more and slash again. Soon, he got the rhythm down. Each time he would charge forward he would jump off the ground, and every time his feet would touch the ground he would use his gravity magic again.
This resulted in him slashing at the wormin multiple times in a second from multiple directions. Soon the wormin, got tired and dove into the ground. Using his meditation, he left the area of his magic sight to 30 meters in radius. While it wasn't very detailed, something the size of the wormin could still be easily seen.
Soon, he felt the wormin's presence coming from his right. Jumping upwards, he took out both of his pistols, and shot down words at the ground. The moment the wormin came out of the ground with its mouth wide open, it ate 2 bullets and finally died.
Well that was much easier than my first fight. I've also gotten more comfortable with gravity strikes this is quite useful. Now I just need to replenish my mana = because it seems using gravity stirkes still takes up a bit too much of it.
After meditating for a few minutes and recovering his mana, Jayson continue down into the hive. Looking around he was impressed on how big this cave was. The walls had to be at least 10 meters high, and the corridors 20 meters wide, and that the smallest he had seen yet. The big room where you fought the 7 woman's, was at least fifty meters wide.
The walls were all a bleached yellow in color, and we're so ragged, that if you touch them you'd probably cut yourself.
Soon enough he walked up on another large group of wormin. This time though, there were 10 of them and they were all closer to level 70.
Damn, this place is getting harder a lot faster than I expected it to. And I don't think they'll expect it either, or else you wouldn't have sent me down here. The wormin's levels might actually rise over 500, and thats only for the normal ones.
