CHAPTER 6
"Finally back I see Relfem. I guess you want to go back to training?" -Full
"I am. I've finished your previous task, and am awaiting the next." -Jayson
"Well then, let me think of something you can do. Ah! I've got just the thing! Yesterday the station received 10 Wormins for study. Now that they have finished studying them, I want you to go kill them. Don't worry, this is normal so you won't get in trouble. -Full
"If anything, it should just help you as they are each level 65 and can level you up somewhat. Just becareful, they are still extremely dangerous." -Full
"Where to I go to get them?" -Jayson
"Follow the orange line on the ground and it will lead you to the research station. There tell the staff that you are the person assigned to kill the 10 Wormins. Now go." -Full
New quest!
Quest NameWormin SubjugationRank1 StarRewardMore training from Full.DescriptionFull has given you the task of killing 10 Level 65 Wormins. Accomplish it, and he will reward you. Fail and you will continue to train.
Hmmm, a quest. Either way even if I accomplish it I'll still end up training. At least I finally get to actually fight and kill something.
Walking along the orange line, Jayson eventually came upon a large grey door with a orange outline. Pressing what he assumed was the button to open the door, the door opened up into a large white room. There were a few plants scattered around and a counter with a human-elf half breed behind.

Walking up to her, he spoke.
"Excuse me, I've been sent here to kill the 10 Wormins from yesterday..." -Jayson
"Lets see here... ok, go down that hallway and the second door to the left. The wormins have already been released and are awaiting their death." -???
"Thank you." -Jayson
Continuing to walk, he came upon the door she was talking about. This one was much simpler, just a metal door with a knob.
Opening it, he walked inside.
Looking around, he realized just how massive this room was. It had to be well over 200 meters by 500 meters, not to mention the fact that there was a door that spanned an entire wall, which most likely led to to an extension.
He was currently in a closed of platform attached to the wall, and in the distance he could see 10 large creatures. Each was at least 50 centimeters in diameter and at least 10 meters long.
They want me to fight those things?! They can almost swallow me whole!
Using Analyze on them, he saw their stats.
NameLevel65RankZ1Health1,150Mana230
Damn, they have over 1,000 health. And they have a rank... I wonder what Z1 means. I'll just ask Hall later.
Looking over, he saw a table that had an assortment of weapons. He could choose from snipers to pistols, and there were even some swords. Upon closer inspection, he saw that the swords used mana to reinforce themselves, and the guns used mana to shoot.
Wanting to keep movement, he picked two pistols. One shot a weaker 3-round burst, but the other dealt one large blow meant to finish off enemies.
Well, time to get started.
Using Blink a few times, Jayson reached the ground. Utilizing Change Gravity, he made himself 50% lighter. He began to run forward and soon enough the Wormins saw him. Shooting his 3-round burst, he stared in awe as it barely scratched the Wormin.

-2 HP to Wormin. HP: 1148/1150
While busy dealing with one, he didn't see the second one that came up behind him.
He was launched forward into one of the walls and when he got up realized he had lost 100 health from only one hit. 2 more and he would be dead.
Concentrating once more, Jayson used Change Gravity and doubled the gravity for the wormins. Now that they moved a lot slower, he could think about what he had to do now.
If I couldn't shoot through their shell, could I hurt them by shooting through their mouths?
Looking at their mouths, he moved around and dodged them until he found a pattern to the opening and closing. Happy with this, he moved forwards to the first one.
Once it opened it's mouth, he shot it 10 times with the stronger pistol. He was rewarded with a death squeal as the creature flopped over.
You have killed a Wormin Level 65. XP gained. You are now level 7. You have 7 stat points to distribute.
Ok, this may not be as hard as I thought it to be...

(Chapters are output once a day, unless I am sicck or have a migraine. Once every two days.) Due to being a little too edgy, I decided to reboot in another slightly less edgy version.. Why is it that I can't make you feel fear at my name? Why is it that when my footsteps are heard, you don't shat yourself? Does the Dancing Skulls meaning nothing to you?' I slowly take off my mask. I wrote this when I was 16/17 (which was many years ago now!) on a really old PC I called Phylis. I remember having to print it out on an old ribbon printer to submit it to publishers - this was back before esubs were the norm! It never got picked up and I ended up self publishing it. I hope you enjoy.
