For the next two days Kai did nothing but trained his magic and he was finally able to project some mana outside of his body.

“Dawn, you are allowed to move freely, while inside the dungeon.” Kai said once and turned to the kids that were besides him. “Laura and Nathan, you now have full grown wolves to protect you, they are your companions to the rest of your life.” He said to the two kids, who stood with their chest up while having a Dire Wolf and a Grey Wolf Kobold at their side, respectively.

You gave the ownership of two of your minions to the following people: Laura and Nathan, the wolves will continue to follow your orders and evolve following the dungeon system but they will not fight to the death for you.

Kai saw the window and couldn’t help but think that it was still good enough, even if it meant that he had lost two minions for two humans.

“Nora…” Kai said looking at the woman, who started to follow him no matter where he goes. “You’re still my possession.” He said bluntly as he sat on the ground. “Are you all happy with it?” He asked the four.

“YES!” The four shouted and the kids walked to gather some more herbs leaving the adults behind.

“Kai… I have something to talk to you.” Dawn said looking at Nora, who nodded and walked to the carriage. “Nathan… he is almost cured from his mana depletion… and I think he will never have a strong body.” She said looking at his eyes.

“I have noticed it. His body will be frail and that is the main reason I forced his companion to evolve in such a way.” Kai said looking at the woman, who had a questioning look on her face. “With the one following him, that one will be able to take care of him.” He said looking towards the place the kids had left.

“Forced? Don't they evolve on their own?” Dawn asked after seeing how the wolves moved around the dungeon for a few days.

“They can evolve naturally but I can interfere with it, like what I did to his wolf… I gave him intelligence, a bit more than it was needed for it to evolve into a Kobold and it did help him evolve like I wanted.” Kai said looking at the woman. “And you're not to spy on the things I can do, I’ll be doing whatever I want for now.” He said as he stood up.

“Okay… I'll go talk with Nora.” The adventurer said as she walked to the carriage.

Seeing the magician entering Kai quickly walked to the newly made room, it was still a bit bare but it was the biggest one he had, it was 20 x 15 meters making it a total of 300 square meters and he was pleased with it because he could finally do some experiments he was dying to do.

“The adventurer woman said that after being able to sense magic I should be able to materialize it… I was able to create some small sphere out of my body but I felt exhausted soon after…” Kai said in a low voice as he thought about the lessons the woman had gave him. “And Mana can easily change to any of the eight main elements, Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, Wind, Water, Light and Dark…” He continued as he sat on the ground.

He was trying to figure out how he could do that and he had asked the woman to show him how she did to cast magic and all she said it was that she had to do a lot of visualizing, magic control training and only after that she was able to shot magic. “I need to see… isn't magic similar to science? Dawn said that she had to think how the magic was so it could be used… maybe if I think how it is made I can make it too?” Kai said as he placed his hands before him and started to think how to change the mana property to one of the eight elements.

Slowly Kai gathered mana between his hands forming a sphere. It was small but it was all what he needed and from there he turned the small ball into Fire, after trying for quite some time.

He continued for more than an hour before he fell on his back while heavily breathing but a smile was plastered on his face, as well many holes were on the ground.

‘Good… I can use all elements.’ Kai thought as he lied down.

“You know… there is a skill you could buy only for this…” Isis’ voice came from the bracelet and the doll, which had grown quite a bit, appeared from it.

“I didn’t know… I haven’t seen it before, but I don’t want to waste my DP if it is something I can get on my own.” Kai said as he sat looking at the AI. “Besides… I did buy all the skills I saw before but haven’t had a good reason to use them.” He said as he stood up looking at the her.

“Those skills? I thought you had already tried them on rocks and such.” Isis said tilting her head.

“No no… you don’t understand it at all.” Kai said as he smiled. “I need to test them… on you!” He said as he quickly stood up while spinning.

Isis saw the action and before she could do anything Kai’s tail slammed on her body, making her bend before she was shoot by its strength into a wall and from there he bite her and she could do nothing but start to struggle as he tried to break free from his mouth.

“Kai! You’re making me wet!” Isis shouted as she felt the strength behind his bite.

“Like I care!” Kai said without releasing the AI’s doll as he shook his head from one side to another.

Kai continued to bite the doll for some time before he finally released her and Isis just fell down while covered on wolf spit.

“You’re gross! Why didn’t you release me when I asked?” Isis asked as she tried her best to clean her body.

“Don’t know, just felt like I could punish you for not explaining some things ‘before’ I did them and not telling me what I could do.” Kai said looking at the doll. “It took me more than an hour to figure out how to uses spells!” He said as the ground slowly recovered because most of the damage that was caused to it was because Kai couldn’t help but try to use magic after confirming the elements he was able to use.

“But it wouldn’t be funny… you could just go and wouldn’t you be like ‘Now I can use Fire Magic!’ and you would just be using it by the system, you wouldn’t be able to create magic on your own, have you thought about it?” Isis said as she cleaned her body the best way she could. “And the amount of DP for each element would grow… and they wouldn’t be neatly listed like they are on your skill list.” She said as she forgot about cleaning herself with her hands.

“Oh… nice skills.” Kai said as a smiled appeared on his lips. “With this I'll be able to use magic without restrictions.” Kai said cracking his knuckles.

“Wouldn't it be good to buy the next upgrades now?” Isis asked as she used magic to clean the spit that was covering her body. “You have enough DP to do a lot of things.” She said nodding her head as she spun where she was.

“That's actually a good idea.” Kai said as he opened the menu and freezing. “Isis… I think the race selection is broken… six races have the same amount of points.” He said looking at the AI as she happily skipped around.

“Well… just choose one then.” She said as she stopped to spin. “Just follow your guts and pay attention to the things around you, you might get a nice surprise or even a present.” Isis said as she stopped facing Kai.

“… Pay attention around? I'm always alert.” He said as she watched the doll jump around a few more times. “Besides my dungeon is set to be a wolf dungeon.” Kai said seriously.

“Eh? Are you sure about that?” Isis said with a smile on her face. “I never said dungeons have only ‘one’ form of beasts, did I?” She said as she skipped back towards Kai.

“You… didn't.” He said as the doll stopped before him. “But all my minions are wolves.” He declared at the end.

“You're right they are all from one family, but their species aren't.” Isis said with a chuckle before she turned into a small ball of light. “If I were you I would pay attention to what your dungeon actually is.” The voice came from the ball of light as Isis disappeared inside Kai’s bracelet.

Kai stood there without understanding what the AI had just said about his dungeon.

Kai read his status once more before he finally understood what Isis had said. His dungeon wasn’t only focused on ‘wolves’, but instead on canines, meaning that not only wolves, but foxes and racoons could be added to his numbers as well.

“I’m really a stupid one… I could have added even more minions under my care since a long time ago.” Kai said as he shook his head as he sighed opening the menu once more and selecting a race he found interesting to evolve to, the Silver Wolf species, but as soon as he selected on, all the six races turned grey. “What?” He asked as he tilted his head.

Requirements to unlock race met.

Crimson Wolf, Voltic Wolf. Earthen Wolf, Swift Wolf and Aqua Wolf

All the races listed above had their potential unlocked and from now on once a Dire Wolf reaches a certain strength they can evolve depending on their elemental affinity.

Kai stood there watching the screen for a few minutes but he couldn’t help but suck the air in as he read the next window that appeared before him.

By acquiring all the Elemental Wolves race at once you have evolved into an unique monster that can only be achieved by being a Boss monster.

“What the hell?” Kai shouted as he looked at his body. It had shrunk to 1.7 meters tall, but he could feel that his body was stronger than before. He quickly ran towards a puddle to look at his reflection and found that some weird markings had appeared around the Dungeon Core on his head.

A patch of white fur appeared around Kai’s Dungeon Core, it looked like that four lines were drawn forming a square while leaving four sharp lines that extended a few more centimeters than the square itself.

There was some more white fur on his sides, they circle over his limbs forming a small line around it.

While he looked at himself a new window appeared before him and it made him not notice that at the tip of his tail there were some colored patches of fur, they were mainly icy blue, fire and yellow, but there were some blue, green, brown, white and black.

Kai stood there while he saw his own reflection while he did not mind the rest of the changes that were occurring around the dungeon.

Terra sat quietly on the ground as she hummed a song. She was happy to finally have leveled up once more and the number her number of minions had once more grew, she was finally able to evolve further once the new dolls arrived at the Enchanted Wood Doll she had last bought and the next race she got was Magic Wood Doll, where the doll had better magic circles all over the body making it stronger and sturdier than the normal dolls she had.

‘But… I feel like I’m lacking something…’ She thought as she stared at her status. ‘All my dolls are great but they lack in mobility… they aren’t as fast as the Dungeon Dueler’s minions or Kai’s…’ She thought as she rested her chin on her hands.

“I’m not progressing smoothly…” Terra said after a few minutes. “The PvP match against the Dueler made me realise how weak I am now and I can’t even gain much DP…” She said as she lifted her head to look at the sky. “I bet Kai has a big supply of DP… because everytime I see him he is stronger than before.” She said before she let a sigh out.

Terra couldn’t think on a way to gain more DP that didn’t made her go towards the bad ending of the game. She thought about going to kill some humans or to even kidnap some but she was against it and left it go or she could go and duel with other dungeons, but she was against it after she was defeated and even before, she couldn’t think why would she do it, it was clear that PvP would left some players enraged but some liked it.

“Clearly I have no options left…” She murmured without taking her eyes from the sky.

“Then why don’t you form a party?” Someone said besides Terra, who quickly stood up before spinning just to find a doll that looked like the AI sitting besides her. “Yahoo!” Isis said waving her hand.

“A party you say, but I have seen just a few players and most of them are loners.” Terra says as she sat before the purple haired doll. “And I don't think many would like to accept such a weak dungeon as mine as a party member.” She said letting her shoulders drop.

“Why don’t you ask him about it?” Isis asked with a smile on her face.

“Him? Are you talking about Kai?” Terra asked and the AI’s doll nodded. “He would totally shut it down. He even refused my first attempt, why would he accept it now?” She asked Isis, who continued to smile.

“Well… he might soon need some help to do a few more tasks… and his minions might not be that good for it… and you two would benefit from it, just try to see what he will say.” Isis said as she gestured to Terra. “And you will be able to gain a few more contacts if you are to leave him as the party leader.” She said while she winked at the doll boss.

“But it is Kai we’re talking about…” Terra said looking at the AI. “He will not accept it.” She said before releasing a sigh.

“Well, you lack mobility while he lacks something you have… just make use of those.” Isis said as she stood up. “I’ll be going now. I hope you’re lucky enough to form a small contract with him.” She said as she vanished before Terra’s eyes.

Terra stood there for a few seconds before she decided that she had almost nothing to lose, she knew that Kai wouldn’t accept her offer, but there might be something that she has that might be able to change his mind.

[Kai, would you accept to form a party with me? It will only be the two of us and you can be the leader.] Terra send as she crossed her fingers.

[I don’t know why you’re asking for that… are you in need for DP?] Kai answered and she couldn’t help but bite her lower lip.

[Yes… I’m not being able to gather much DP, and even when I have they just vanish like they never existed.] She answered sincerely. [The amount I gain each day is small and I can’t do much, I use almost all of it in one go.] She said hoping that Kai wouldn’t mind having someone as weak as her with him.

[I understand.] Kai answered and nothing more came and she wasn’t sure what she could say to change his mind. [Then, you supply my minions with weapons and teach some of them to create them as well and in exchange I help you gain some more DP.] He said and Terra started to smile at his words.

[I accept! That will give us a great experience!] She said as she walked outside, she was going to look for Kai’s dungeon.

[Great, with that I’ll be able to have a good supply of weapons and tools for my Kobold minions.] Kai sent and Terra stared at the chat.

[Kobold? Already?] She said a bit dumbfounded. [You were finally able to break from the animal branch and enter the monsters’ one?] She asked after a few seconds.

[You know nothing… that bunny was a gold mine! I wish I could fight with him a few more times… his body was a delicacy.] Kai said and Terra laughed wryly at the words he used. [And you, just wait for me, I’ll bring you to my dungeon or else you will end up being killed while traveling.] He said.

[Okay, I’ll be waiting… though I don’t know how useful I will be.] She answered but she was thinking what made Kai accept her offer, even if he had his minions he could go and create weapon on his own without the need of him forming a party. ‘He might be plotting something…’ Terra thought as she waited with her minions holding weapons on their hands.
